I have asked Boots opticians numerous times to stop ringing and texting me and asked them to remove my number because they are contacting me about my daughter’s appointments but use my number and not hers. She is an adult and as I have told them numerous times I don’t make her appointments. I have just received a text saying an eye test is overdue and it is addressed to my daughter. This is harassment now and has been reported as such.

Eye test good, choice of frames restricted to designer frames or poor quality but expensive own brand frames.
Need to expand lower cost frame choices for those on budget.

All staff were courteous and helpful. Everything was explained well and I was made to feel like a valued customer.

Nothing wrong with the service in store it is the harassment afterwards when an eye test is due and this now has been happening for six months. This is not simply a reminder it is constant contact through calling me (I block the numbers but then they call on a different number), emails and now what’s app (I blocked them yesterday but they have managed to get round that and are contacting me again today). Plenty of good opticians out there who don’t behave like this. Boots, the more you harass me the more determined I am not to go back to you.

Lisa was very friendly & professional whilst helping me re order glasses 👓 after mine have gone missing.. she put me at ease & explained the pricing etc & was quick & officiant… always very friendly & helpful at boots opticians fosse park

The staff in this store were really helpful and polite. They did a proper eye test and scan of my retina, and made sure that everything was clean and sterile.
They were honest and professional and treated me with dignity and respect.

I do not know I was carrying out oral instructions from the hospital

A shout out to Simon who was so supportive in helping me choose my new glasses. Certainly knows what frames will suit you. There’s also an excellent selection of frames.
Aqib explained all the results of my eye test to me clearly which I really appreciated.
I will certainly keep going back to Boots in Barnsley for my eye tests and frames.

The optician, Shah, was absolutely wonderful. He put my mind at rest regarding a sight problem that had been niggling me for a while, and explained everything in clear terms.
I've nothing but praise for the staff too. Anthony in particular was very patient and helped me to eventually select two pairs of glasses. I didn't feel at all rushed, he really seemed to want to help me make the perfect decision. There are so many frames to choose from, it's very tricky!
I'll be recommending this branch to local friends.

I've recently been having problems with an RGP contact lens, and the team couldn't have done more to help me. They were incredibly patient, understanding and determined to make sure everything was sorted.
It's lovely to receive such genuine care and excellent customer service. I really can't praise them enough and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this branch.

I am always looked after so well at Boots Opticians in Stroud, yesterday by Leanne and Jayne. Warm, friendly and professional. Going the extra mile for my eyes, and so that I may continue enjoying reading and writing for pleasure. Good selection of frames to choose from...I'm coming away with 3 different tortoiseshell frames (I'm seeing a theme here!). Referral into Ophthalmology done very speedily too. Thanks to the team in Stroud.

Exceptional service from the Eltham Boots Opticians team! My son found it challenging to try to wear contact lenses for the first time. Adam was thoroughly patient and expertly guided my son through the process so that he was confident putting the lenses in by himself. This took time over a couple of appointment days where Adam gave him support but also space at the right times. Thanks to Adam and the team, my son is now happily on the contact lens scheme so he can wear contacts for playing his sport. Thank you Adam and the rest of the Eltham Boots Opticians for taking such good care of my son, and for their skill and patience when things are not so straightforward.

I have been using Boots opticians in Chesterfield for years now and their service and professionalism is 2nd to none. I always feel relaxed when I need to visit. From start to finish I feel valued and most important to me, listened to. Whether it's a sight test or a concern I have with my eyesight, they listen. After my recent visit with Hassan for my sight test and Steve for my exploration into contact lenses I feel I have been given the best advice I could wish to have, with no pressure to sign up to contracts. At 64 I have age related issues.... problem??? Nope. Steve was amazing. He explained my options in full, in plain English and even drew diagrams when I asked a related question. I feel that the whole team genuinely care about how I feel and my concerns. Hats off to the whole team, I value their friendliness, help, advice and knowledge. Thankyou.
