Such friendly and helpful staff ,really impressed with the service and efficiency. Also pleased that the company has moved with the times and offers scans and further treatments for the dreaded bleph and dry eye.
Would highly recommend this branch.

My visit was for my first up-to-date eye check and contact lens check. I had started the day off with the mistake of only booking the contact lens check online AND running 5 minutes late, but luckily the staff and my optician Ammara were so kind and helped get me sorted so there was no wasted trip. The eye test and lens check were very quick, despite me asking Ammara to go back and forth between the lenses a few times just to be certain (sorry!), but she remained so sweet, pleasant and patient throughout. She guided me to start a routine due to my regularly dry eyes and ever since I've noticed an improvement in my dry eyes. There was also a very kind man who briefly helped with my eye scan, but I do apologise as I wasn't able to catch his name. He was very friendly and upbeat.
Afterwards, John helped me find a new pair of prescription sunglasses. I'm very particular with glasses and often struggle to find a style that I like to wear. Despite this, he was very knowledgeable. He took a couple glances at me and figured out which sort of nose bridge I needed to get the sunglasses to sit where they could while providing maximum protection around my eyes. Then, he asked which styles and colours I typically like. He was able to find me a new pair that I will really enjoy wearing and also gave me some really useful information and tips of what I can do if I lose them, as I lost my last pair on holiday. As I'm rather unfamiliar with the different types of lenses, tints and various customisations glasses and sunglasses have to offer, John kindly and patiently took the time to explain the differences to me and I could not be more grateful as I never knew what an impact polarising lenses would make! I'm very excited for the sun to come back out so I can wear them.
I had an amazing experience 2 years ago getting my eye test and contact lenses at boots opticians and yet again this year during my check up, so thank you to all the staff at Warrington Golden Square.

My husband Malcolm went into the Newton Abbot store this morning with his damaged pair of glasses.
He saw the lovely June, who has fixed them for him.
We cannot fault the staff and their customer service. It's the best out of all the branches in our area.

The contact lens scheme is absolutely dreadful. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.. I ordered additional lenses mid-March and they are still not here. Then my regular delivery was due to be sent out end of March and that is also nowhere to be seen. I've been offered a 'complimentary' order of lens', but even that hasn't be dispatched or even look like its going to be dispatched soon. The delivery date is being consistently being pushed back, its currently showing as due to be delivered in June, when the initial date was 31st March, then mid-April, then 30th April and now June, there hasn't even been an anticipated delivery date in May..
I've already spoken to someone in customer service and all they do is repeat back to me, what I've already said to them. I'm just being told that there's an issue with the supplier, but no resolution is forthcoming at all. No offer of other lenses that would turn up sooner, no offer of a refund. I requested that a complaint be lodged and for a manager to contact me, which was over a week ago and no one has bothered to contact me about this either.
I've had contact lens orders in the past be late, but only by one or two weeks, but this time its been almost 2 months. The opticians has ordered me trial lenses, but its not enough, because I'd ordered additional I need and should have over 60 pairs of lenses and I can only have 25 pairs of trial lenses, which also took 3 weeks to turn up. I'm constantly going in circles and it's clear from other reviews that I am not the only person having to deal with this issue. Plenty of other contact lens providers are not dealing with this supply issue, so why is Boots? No explanation is forthcoming and no help. I wouldn't reccommend this scheme to anyone, if you are thinking of lenses go elsewhere.

I went to boots above street Southampton to get a eye test done.jo was really welcoming when I arrived and made sure I was all booked in and seen very quickly.once the test was done Jo helped me to sort out keeping my original frames but have new lenses put it.the whole process was easy and went smoothly and I received my glasses within a week of them being sent off.when I went back to collect Julie was helpful found my order quickly and also priced me up for sunglasses which I will purchase at a later date.both staff members were very welcoming and had brilliant customer service x

Post system upgrade (after a 2wk delay in all lens being posted out) today is the 3rd time I’ve had to call in 9mths to ask where my lens are. Call handler could not understand that the posting date of lenses needed to revert to where it was previously. I now have to go to the opticians for the 3rd consecutive time to request free lenses as I will run out by the time my delivery comes. I’m going to have to cancel my scheme having been a customer for over 15yrs.

My wife and I have been going into boots in Ayr with cousin who has recently had cataract surgery and required new glasses… from the first visit to getting his glasses we were all treated with such professionalism and respect from the whole department. We were so impressed with The service my wife and I went back and ordered new glasses for ourselves… Sharon was our assistant who assisted us with such professionalism to select the frames … and I must say her honesty and thoughtfulness in the selection of our frames was second to none … the three of us were very impressed with the care and assistance given and a massive thank you to everyone in the department … I nearly forgot to mention Aria who assisted my cousin who’s also in a wheel chair …. Thank you all for the best unpressured experience .. not like any of the others on the high street .

On arrival, Tutu immediately came to my aid and got me up and running with tests. I was late and she was gracious.
Harin, one of the Opticians, was spectacular. He explained everything in detail - not highbrow, so that I had absolute clarity about what each test meant. His knowledge and customer service were outstanding. He certainly knows his stuff and I believe genuinely enjoys his work. Thanks for your perseverance and reassurance. My sight is incredibly important to me and the service demonstrated by you yesterday underscores that you wholeheartedly believe sight to be important too, in that it's not just a job to you.
Georgia, thank you for your patience with the testing and fitting me for my new glasses. Your personable approach made what could have been a tedious experience enjoyable.

I visited today for my eye test and had an excellent experience at Boots in Falkirk High Street. Gemma and Karen were very welcoming and kind, and they made me feel truly valued from the moment I arrived especially Gemma, who was exceptionally warm and caring. Boots opticians in Havant, absolute shambles! First visit, rude staff and didn't know how to put through an order for Bolle safety glasses. Second visit a week later after contacting Bolle, who told me the paperwork I had was correct in the first place, order was put through. 2 months later and 3 phone calls to the branch I am told the order actually wasn't put through!!! Will never use this place or boots opticians again!!!!!! Steer clear of using the Havant branch! If i could give 0 stars i would.
