So I used Bennison Brown for my current mortgage which I completed last Friday. The service was good, effective communication and my adviser (Keith) was very prompt in responding to my queries and emails (which is very important as first time buyers).
So overall, I would recommend.

Alex did a great job helping me with my mortgage. He was friendly, helpful and very easy to deal with throughout. He gave me a number of different options and took the time to help me think through each of them so I could decide what worked best for me.

The support from the wider team was also excellent. Laura managed the process through to completion and was really helpful and responsive along the way.

Overall, a very straightforward and positive experience. I’d happily recommend Alex and his team to anyone looking for a mortgage broker.

It has been great working with Bennison Brown, specifically with Simeon Barton and Mason. As a first time buyer I have felt very lost at times, but Simeon was great to talk through every step of the process and offer personalised and tailored advice. He really made sure I had thought through every aspect of the mortgage process before committing to a mortgage. This is my 4th time using Bennison Brown as my mortgage broker. Even given quite a complicated process for my purchase, with missing deeds, and a split repayment/interest only mortgage deal, the team delivered flawlessly, and constantly tracking rate changes to deliver an even better deal than I had expected.

Michelle is a fantastic, highly knowledgable and profesional mortgage broker and I wouldnt use anybody else. Of all the professionals involved in the chain when we were buying were purchasing our property Michelle was the most supportive as it was a fairly hard and long process. Michelle was always on tap to answer queries and concerns and was good at giving us reassurance. She went above and beyond for us she is at the top of her game when it comes to mortgage brokers. I would highly recommend you won't regret it!!

I've used Andrew a few times now (third or fourth time, I've genuinely lost count!) and I wouldn't go anywhere else. He's always been friendly, approachable and happy to take the time to discuss my situation and what would work best for me. Nothing ever feels like too much trouble, and he makes what can be a stressful process feel much easier. A great service every time from everyone in the team, from regular check-ins throughout right through to getting our keys. I'll definitely be using them again in the future.

We had an excellent experience working with Shadab Syed as our mortgage broker. From the very first call, he clearly explained the process and our options, which gave us confidence from the outset.
His communication was quick, responsive, and professional throughout. He worked hard to secure the best rates available to us, and thanks to his support, our mortgage application was accepted smoothly, allowing us to move forward in a timely manner.

We were assigned Michelle Brock as our broker to support with exploring options to remortgage and consolidate some existing debts. We provided all requested information and had one initial phone conversation. Our credit report was good and we were keen to understand what options might be available. However after that initial interaction communication completed ceased. We sent a follow up email which went unanswered and there was no further attempt by the broker to contact us. Even if no suitable options had been identified; a simple call or update to explain the outcome would have been appreciated. The lack of communication and follow through felt very unprofessional. Fortunately we have engaged another broker who has been excellent throughout; kept us informed at every stage and successfully secured a very good deal for us.
Zero stars to Michelle Brock for poor service/communication.

My partner and I contacted them again when buying a property together. Their advice is always so helpful and their communication is excellent, they offer such a great service and are really friendly.
