Helpful staff but unfortunately as I had money due to myself from 2019 and the previous branch had not put sufficient notes on the system I came away originally without having my order placed. Anita and Gary at Preston branch both very patient and helpful..Telephoned customer services the following morning and Danielle managed to trace all my previous orders and allocated the balance due to me new voucher numbers. Telephoned Preston to place my order and the original bed I wanted had been withdrawn from the sale however it was still showing on the website at the reduced price. Gary explained that it could take a few hours for the website to be updated. I waited until lunch time found a better bed had been reduced and proceeded to order that..it is due to be delivered on the 23 July

to the very cheerful delivery team- Graham and Paul who carried the bed and mattress upstairs.
It was great to be able to walk in and try out different mattresses and see the large selection of bed styles, something one does not get the feel for online.

Friendly welcoming helpful knowledgeable non pushy staff.

Mo presented several types of mattresses which at first I found confusing as this is the first time I have actually purchased a bed even though I'm in my 80s. But I was able to get an impression (sorry for the pun) by lying on two or three of the mattresses and of course found that the most comfortable was the most expensive! However Mo told me that it was a special offer on this particular mattress in a clearance sale, which was extremely good value.

What a load of sh--
Three weeks delivery NEVER came.
No call no email to let me know that they have not loaded the bed.
Two days previous got a confirmation everything is coming with 2 hour slot and a phone call 30mins before arrival.
Phoned the preston branch to complain told me to ring customer service.
Told I can't have REFUND said I would come in to the PRESTON BRANCH to sort and
Miracle do happen i got full REFUND but no apology.
Never BENSON BEDS AGAIN

Friendly knowledgeable staff who listened to what we wanted. Arrived at store, purchased just what we wanted, paid and left with a delivery date, all in about 15 minutes, so easy, no salesman rubbish.

Highly recommend.
The staff were brilliant - they weren't overbearing and gave us space and time to consider the beds and mattresses. Whilst the bed we were looking to buy wasn't in stock, the salesman was extremely helpful in showing a similar bed and answering our many questions. The advice provided regarding the mattress was spot on and they were completely understanding that our children wanted to try out every mattress in the show room! All in all, friendly, professional and extremely helpful. The transaction was smooth from start to finish. When delivering, the driver and assistant were also incredibly respectful (putting on covers over their shoes when on the carpet) and delivered all items to the right room; they also pointed out which box to start with!
If you are looking for a new bed or mattress, I would certainly recommend going to Bensons for Beds in Preston.

Looking to replace mattress and staff were very helpful and patient explaining all different options and allowing time for us to try out all the options with no pressure selling.

Not a very good experience to date! No complaints with the staff in the Preston store, but everything has to go via their Head Office, whose customer service skills leave a lot to be desired.
We ordered a new bed, mattress and headboard in December 2023 and we are still waiting for the headboard to be delivered. No one at this moment in time can tell us if, or when we are going to receive it despite ordering it before Christmas. It appears from speaking with the head office, they don’t really seem to care!
