We had a double bed base delivered on Monday 26/01/26
What can I say about these 2 men Simon and his colleague, sorry forgot your name,were absolutely fantastic.
I have a broken foot,they asked if I wanted the mattress put on the new bed base,
Courteous,polite didn't need to ask them to take shoes off,and very helpful so to my Knights in shining Armour. Thank you.xx

We had a very positive experience at Bensons for Beds, largely thanks to Ryan. He was extremely patient while we tried the same mattresses several times, and his calm, respectful manner immediately put us at ease.

He took the time to understand what we were looking for and offered clear, practical advice on how best to test the mattresses, which helped us feel confident in our decision.

What stood out most was his non-pressured approach — his focus was clearly on helping us find the right mattress for our needs rather than simply making a sale. This made the whole experience comfortable, supportive, and genuinely positive.

In contrast, we did briefly experience a more sales-led approach from another member of staff, which did not feel as comfortable for us personally. Ryan’s calmer, more customer-focused manner was the reason we chose to proceed with our purchase.

We bought a mattress, no bed, and we said early on that we didn’t want to discuss finance of any kind.

I always take my pillow with me when away from home, but this time I forgot it. The Solihull store was not a big detour from the motorway and I was delighted to be able to replace my Dunlopillo pillow half way to my destination. The shop was lovely and the staff friendly and helpful.

Ryan was attentive and answered all our questions with professionalism.

Buying the mattress in store was a really positive experience as staff were knowledgeable without being pushy. Gave us time to make our minds up after showing us plenty of mattresses that met our requirements.
The delivery was straightforward and the guys took the mattress upstairs and took all packaging away with them. They explained how to look after the mattress for the first few weeks.
Overall I am really impressed and would recommend Bensons Solihull.

Pity that was followed by too many ’spam’ text messages thereafter, mainly pestering us to complete this survey!

The only reason we eventually completed this survey was to try and reduce the high volume of texts / emails from Bensons received at all times of the day, even 08.12 on a Sunday morning!

We haven’t actually received our product yet, so maybe Bensons should send just one message asking for customers to complete a survey once they have delivered it.

Visited few bed stores in Shirley and customer services was applying in Dreams,and other neighboring stores, walked into Bensons store was greeted by lovely sales assistant Gillian, who guided me around different beds, lovely customer service from start to finish, happily purchased 3 beds.
