Outstanding Service – Connor Was a Star!

We had a fantastic experience buying a bed at Bensons for Beds. The range of options was impressive, but what really made the difference was Connor. He was absolutely phenomenal — knowledgeable, clear, and incredibly helpful. He provided straightforward facts, explained all the timings and delivery details, and offered us a range of options without ever being pushy. He made the process smooth and stress-free. Connor is a real credit to the team, and thanks to him, we’re now sleeping better than ever. Highly recommend Bensons for both their beds and brilliant service!

We received excellent customer service and advice from the manager Tara. Highly recommend going in to speak with her if you’re unsure on what you’re looking for.

I went to bensons over the weekend to buy multiple beds. Ended up having an awful experience. The lady was called leanne and she had served us nice enough on our initial visit. On our return she was unprofessional and very aggressive. This was due to us enquiring about discount that was online. She stormed off muttering about us under her breath. Very disappointing after being a loyal customer for years. I have Never been treated with such disrespect. Zero stars, some serious change needs to happen here!!! 😡😡😡

Leanne was excellent at Bensons for Beds in Stevenage. She explained everything really clearly in terms of the differences between the beds, answered the many questions we threw at her patiently and didn't pressure us into making a sale. Having shopped around a bit we were so happy with Leanne's support that we came back a 2nd time and bought the bed we had our eyes on. Thank you Leanne for your excellent customer service!

Went in to look at what Sealy options were available & left with a mattress + base. The reason for this was the advice, guidance & information that was provided by Connor (without any sales pressure) which enabled us to make an informed decision straight away.

The store colleague who served us was Tara. She was very polite, patient and professional. I would certainly recommend her to friends/relatives.

I have been looking for a bed, unsure exactly what I wanted, went to another bed retailer, not an enjoyable experience.
I went in Bensons in Stevenage just for a look, met Leanne, so glad I did, she wasn’t pushy, just helpful & patient, finding out what I was looking for, she gave great suggestions & options.
I bought a king size bed, frame, headboard & mattress, I got an incredible deal, it has just been delivered, so happy.
I had a great experience, thanks to all staff I met especially Leanne.

Having looked at another well known store for a new bed and mattress,
It was such a pleasure to have spent time looking at all the various types of mattresses, it is very difficult to decide,
Having met Connor when we arrived was a pleasant experience, he very kindly explained all the difference between one mattress and another,
He very knowledgeable, nothing was any problem, and he never at any time tried to push us into making any decisions, he gave us time on our own to have a think, this included the bed frame and head board, he new all the different types and colours,
From us just going to have a look to actually deciding there and then to make a purchase, he made us feel so confident in the company,
It was a pleasure to have spent time with Connor,
We would definitely recommend you as a company and Connor as the sales person to anyone

Leanne was very helpful as we chose our bed and mattress at Bensons in Stevenage. Excellent range of beds and mattresses to choose from - and it all went much quicker than we had thought it might.

I’ve not had delivery yet, but Tara from the Stevenage showroom was amazing. I confessed I went in there just to test the mattress I thought I wanted but wasn’t sure about buying from them.

Well, she was so helpful, Informative and patient. She talked me through the differences in the mattresses, what made different models more or less in price, talk through how I slept and helped me find what was right for me.

Wasn’t expecting to buy but she was so helpfu, I felt I could trust her and the company. She explained the guarantees and how they worked. I’ve just renovated so I even ended up buying a second mattress for the spare room for guests.

So far excellent service! (lets see how we go with delivery, I’ll update if needed).

That’s so much again Tara, you restored my faith in large chains like Bensons (DFS ruined my faith).

The only thing I would share for Bensons to focus on is delivery time. I ordered two mattresses only, which seemed standard so I couldn’t get my head round 4/5 week time frame. But I didn’t ask so there may be a reason a mattress takes this long.

I’ve already told 5 friends about Tara and how she helped.
