Aquarobics is the best exercise when it…
Aquarobics is the best exercise when it is taught properly. You have to be able to hear instructions, keep moving or you get cold and exercise both sides of your body equally. Unfortunately this does not happen at Thursday Aqua classes. It is trying to be a Pilates class in water which does not work. We got very cold so have stopped attending - leaving only 2 proper Aqua classes at Uxbridge. A couple of years ago we had an Aqua class EVERY day. Please can we have some more proper Aquarobics classes. Thank you.

Hi Ms P Coombs,
Thank you for your feedback, and we’re really sorry to hear that your experience with our Thursday Aqua classes didn't meet expectations. We completely understand the importance of clear instructions, maintaining movement, and ensuring both sides of the body are worked equally in Aquarobics. We’ll take your comments seriously and look into improving the structure of the classes, ensuring that they stay focused on Aquarobics rather than shifting to a Pilates-style format.
We’re also grateful for your feedback about having more proper Aquarobics classes, and we’ll definitely look into the possibility of offering additional sessions. We truly appreciate your support and hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back to classes that better meet your expectations. Thank you for your valuable input!
Kind regards,
Charmaine

Steve, is amazing, his stretch classes have transformed my mobility and has also given me a positive mindset. The Monday and Friday Old Dears club is wonderful mainly because of Steve. He has also put together a personal program for me in the gym, which is continuously helping me improve my general health.

Hamid the teacher for my daughter, within a month of class she had progressed to next level of swimming. He is really a brilliant teacher. I've always trusted this swimming pool. The lido is amazing when summer is around and is warm when winter is cold.
Owen at reception especially is an absolute legend. You've got an amazing staff member with him. That doesn't mean the rest aren't legends either.
5/5 swimming wise. But it's a bit expensive for gym and swimming though.

Swimming lessons have built confidence
I enrolled my two boys (3 and 5 at the time) into the swimming lessons and have been really impressed with how much they’ve improved and grown in confidence over the last year. The teachers are gentle and kind and they’re not pushy at all, and my boys now love the water and have tons of confidence in swimming pools on holidays.
