Buyer Beware
It is 2026 and my oral surgery experience (nightmare) is ongoing - Dr. Parfaz Mizrahi refuses to admit her mistake - refuses to right a wrong.
Dr. Parvaz Mizrahi planned a "single tooth" extraction - to be replaced w/an implant two months in advance. Dr. Parvaz Mizrahi had an opportunity to look at the $300 xray taken immediately before she attempted to extract what she describes as a "single tooth".
But in fact the tooth was rooted as an anchor (one of four) to a $35K bridge. She broke several teeth in the process of attempting to pry what she thought was a 'single'tooth” from my jaw; and in turn destroyed the bridge. Not only did Mizrahi DDS not take responsibility, she sympathetically smiled to my face while dragging out treatment almost a year (the time limit to file a legal case), letting me walk around with broken teeth, leading me to believe that the bridge could only be replaced after an implant was placed (not true - the bridge could have/should have been replaced immediately). After Mizrazhi DDS placed the implant I was shocked to receive a bill/quote to replace the bridge for $38K - as if it were my choice, as if she did nothing wrong.
Later it would come to light that my medical records she provided did not reference any connection between the tooth and bridge (although historic records confirm the fact), or the negligent attempt to extract what she failed to see was a bridge held in place by four rooted teeth –that she literally tried to yank from my jaw. Instead of contacting her insurance company – instead of doing the right thing - she continues to drag out the nightmare and she refuses to admit her mistake or take any responsibility.
It is noteworthy that I would also later learn that Dr. Mizrahi had replaced one missing molar with TWO small implants. There is only one reason to do that – and it is money $$$$.
I trusted her – and that was a big mistake.
If you plan to use her services, don’t go in blind (check out other court cases where she extracted the wrong tooth) – it’s like you have to be a trained oral surgeon to protect yourself and get honest services.
