I was helping my parents look for a new home and came across the King’s Water site is Ashton Keynes, Bewley was new to us and we didn’t no much about them, I was nervous as my parents haven’t moved in over 30 years, upon our first enquiry we met Clint who is the sales advisor for the site, he did an amazing job in giving us the most thorough overview of the site and talked us through the homes and how the process works, nothing was to much trouble, we felt cared for, we then had a site visit organised and were even given Bewley hard hats! The site is stunning, such history and beauty, Mark the site manager we thought was also brilliant and answered all our questions, unfortunately due to timescales a move to phase 1 just wouldn’t work however we are set on moving to Kings Water and will be looking at a plot in the next phase, we just wanted to pass our thanks to Clint for a great experience and he is a real asset to the Bewley team, can’t recommend enough.

The whole experience has been good, from the sales team to the site manager Karl nothing has been too much trouble , if any issues have been raised they have been dealt with straight away, and I would have no problems in recommending my friends towards living on the site, which comes across and a nice village .

I’d like to take this opportunity to express my genuine gratitude to Katy and Nicole (at Alfold) who were exemplary in their professionalism, courtesy, their insights and depth of knowledge. Above all they were both approachable and accommodating to myself and my wife. Whilst we didn’t buy at the Alfold area it did help us make a decision to stick with them for their upcoming development. Nicole was terrific when showing us round the show home and her knowledge was impressive. Spending time with her and not being rushed. Equally Katy’s attention to the process of buying a Bewley home helped make our decision all the more easy. They both had a personal, real world, humanistic touch when dealing with our queries. Moved into our Bewley Home in November and have no regrets - beautiful house, beautiful location. Have a great relationship with the sales team Gavin and Katie we dealt with most and have always had great service and some fun with them they were always happy to answer questions and let us go round the plot prior to moving in. Since moving in we have had some snags which is normal and we are very fortunate to have Rick as the site manager - Bewley should be so very proud of him - nothing is too much trouble and he goes above and beyond to make sure the owners are happy. All the contractors that we have come across in the snagging have always been friendly and tidy. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Bewley Homes they have a positive reputation for a reason they deserve it.

I recently purchased a property from Bewley Homes and they knocked my socks off with their customer care. They went above and beyond what I would expect from a property development company and what I have experienced in the past from other similar companies. I felt genuinely looked after and cared for. Never once did I feel at all pressurised to make a purchase and when I did decide to buy the property, their care didn’t stop there. I honestly can’t rate them highly enough. Aly at Wilton Park, wow what a professional! His sales talk for about 1 hour, showing 2 houses. I don’t think he missed any information necessary for any buyer, to assist me, helping my son interested in Beaconsfield. All the marketing materials of a very high quality.Bewley be proud of Aly.

We arrived at Bellmount View without an appointment but were still very warmly welcomed by the sales team. We asked to view the Show Homes and then were invited to return to the office if we would like any further information.
The homes looked well built and attractive, and the surrounding area is beautiful countryside.

After several visits and many questions, I finally chose the property I wanted, but I was told it wouldn’t be ready for several months, so during that period, my daughter and I came several times to view the progress of the house. The team were extremely helpful, warm and welcoming and never made us feel a nuisance. We were taken to view the building progress each time and any queries and concerns were answered satisfactorily.
I was constantly emailing the team with various questions and they would write back to reassure me with their answers.

There were a few ups and downs prior to moving in, but Bewley’s were very accommodating and helpful and were able to address the problems as each arose.

I have now been in the property almost a month and really love it. The interiors are of a high quality and the overall look, one of elegance.
The purchasing of a property is a major decision in one’s life and it was such a relief to have the advice and support of the sales team behind me, so very many thanks to them.

I am now in the process of dealing with ‘The Snagging List’ team, which is a somewhat slow and ongoing process, however any problems are gradually being addressed but it can be extremely frustrating when communication between the client and the team is somewhat lacking. I do understand that several homes are occupied during the same week or two of completion and consequently, we are all demanding to have any snagging problems rectified ASAP!
As a Customer Care Team, COMMUNICATION, should be
of the UPMOST IMPORTANCE and clients should be notified of any changes in time or dates when ‘snagging’ problems are due to be dealt with. One doesn’t expect be given an arrival time, of a workman, only to find no one turns up, or a workmen arrives and they are not even expected! The result is anger, frustration and resentment by the client, due to the fact that both their time has been wasted and there has also been a lack of thought and consideration by the team. One would hope that the client would be, all important, both pre and post purchase of their property.

However, I do realise that the Customer Care Team have to also rely on subcontractors to do their snagging jobs, and if something changes with those workers, and they can’t get to the job, the company don’t think to notify The Bewley Customer Care Team, so that they can let the client know of any delays or cancellations.

Perhaps this is an area Bewley’s
needs to address, in order to provide an efficient and satisfactory ‘post purchase’ service.

I would recommend Bewley Homes. They made the whole experience of buying a new home as stress-free as possible. Good communications, helpful and caring sales team and high quality, beautiful homes.

We’re 2 months in now and still utterly delighted with the property. The standard of workmanship and the level of quality from Bewley is outstanding. And the Customer is unbelievable - every little thing gets taken care of, nothing forgotten and everything done right away! Thank you Bewley!!

Excellent service in helping us move into their show home

We bought our home through a Bewley part exchange deal which relieved us of the stress of selling.

The sales staff at Bishop’s Gardens provided a very professional service and answered all of numerous queries.

We were attracted by the traditional build of the houses and quality finish. The house we chose had many features we were looking for, eg cloakroom, en-suite, woodburner, integrated kitchen appliances annd plenty of parking etc.

A downside was that we couldn’t have a side door to the garage or even a lintel put in during construction, even at our expense.

Excellent after sales service. Any query we have had the site manager promptly answers.

Customer relations also keeps in touch to ensure our satisfaction.

We are very happy customers.

Induction, sales staff are lovely but will tell you anything to get your sale over the line. We made an agreement and then before exchange had concerns about the interest rates and depression of the housing market and asked if BH had plans to drop the prices on unsold lots, they said no! If anything we will put them up in the next quater, a few weeks after exchange they took 30k off the cost of a simmilar property on our road.

We also have in our legal pack that there should be a path to the front of the property, it was pointed out prior to exchange and we were told it would all be resolved, now we are in the post sales team have not accepted the exchange legal bundle that clearly shows the path should be there, the same is true for the back garden stairs. I have waited 3 weeks for some one to fix a loft hatch lock, whe have many broken/ Cracked bricks that need to be cut out and replaced. The "luxury" kitchen kick boards have have not be joined correctly and look awful, the tin sink in the utility room is to weak for the tap and actual flexed and buckled, we are still waiting for shelves in kitchen cupboards.

The after sales snagging team are slippy like eels and just return holding and handing off emails.

On a positive. The person that fitted the LVT did an amazing job.

We have been living in our new-build Bewley home in Faringdon for just over a month and are generally very happy with it. The Bewley Bond was very helpful in enabling us to move, helped by our previous home attracting a cash buyer. The sales team were very helpful throughout, even though we had hoped to move a month earlier, and enabled us to visit several times at weekends during the build. We reserved early enough to make several choices on the internal fabric and flooring. Inevitably our snagging surveyor identified some teething issues – much of the work identified has been completed since, willingly and in good faith by those assigned to make the appropriate corrections. We are pleased to have chosen this home, by its quality and by the absence of any unwelcome surprises.

We turned up at Wilton Park without an appointment, just to get a feel for the site. The site staff welcomed us warmly and Aly sat with us explaining the development and the various finance options. Aly couldn't have been more helpful, taking us on a tour of the site and showing several properties of interest to us. He was extremely knowledgeable and able to answer all our questions.

Bewley homes at bellmount view made buying my first house so easy! Danielle, Debbie and Steve were brilliant throughout the whole process of making my dreams come true. I would definitely recommend a Bewley home! The quality is amazing and the whole community is so friendly
