I have been using **HostGator** since 2021 and was genuinely extremely happy with their service. Their technical support and customer support were excellent, which is why I bought multiple domains and have been using their multi-domain hosting for years.
Unfortunately, after **HostGator became BigRock**, the quality of service has gone downhill.
Yesterday, four domains that I purchased last year purely for email marketing were automatically renewed. **I no longer need these domains, and I contacted BigRock within less than 24 hours of the renewal to request a full refund. I still expect BigRock to refund these renewals because they had just been processed and the domains have not been used.**
Instead of trying to help, I was connected with **Chiranjeeevi H**. He took forever to respond, kept me waiting on chat for over 15 minutes, and instead of giving me a clear answer, kept sending long copy-and-paste responses and links to knowledge base articles. If the refund wasn't going to be approved, he should have simply told me instead of wasting my time.
I've been a loyal customer since 2021, purchased multiple domains, and paid for multi-domain hosting for years. **I'm not asking for anything unreasonable—I'm asking BigRock to refund domain renewals that I reported less than 24 hours after they were charged.**
The level of customer service is nowhere near what I experienced with HostGator. This experience has completely changed my opinion of the company.
**BigRock, I hope you do the right thing and process my refund.** If this is how loyal customers are treated, I'll be moving my domains and hosting elsewhere, most likely to GoDaddy.

I have 5yearly windows shared hosting plan with fixed IP (transferred from Hostgator takeover by bigrock) with them until mar 2026 it was some how working.
But since Jun 2026 their services are not good. They seem to be too greedy and put a lot of clients in the shared hosting bracket and exhuasted all their resources and now their hosting services as well mssql database connectivity is breaking down frequently such that no serious user can use it now.
Their support is also not good they seem to have unexperienced staff.
Dont buy their services they are not trustworthy and not serious about you once you login with them and paid the amuont.

We are facing multiple issues with BigRock's services, including:
Problems with the website.
Issues with email IDs and email functionality.
Unable to add a proper email signature.
Unable to insert tables in emails.
Unable to add company logos to emails.
Several other limitations affecting daily operations.
Due to these ongoing issues, I would strongly recommend that everyone think twice before choosing any service from BigRock. Our experience has been disappointing, and the support has not adequately resolved these concerns.

My experience with BigRock hosting and support has been one of the most frustrating hosting experiences I have had.
I initially contacted support regarding a domain/subdomain synchronization concern and website performance issues. Instead of receiving a clear diagnosis, I was given multiple explanations that changed throughout the conversation. The issue was first discussed as a possible sync problem, then I was told there was no server-side issue, then process count limits were blamed, then bot traffic was mentioned, and later the matter was escalated to the server administration team.
One of the biggest concerns was the inconsistency in the information provided. At one point I was explicitly informed that there was no server-side issue at all and that everything was functioning normally. However, after further investigation, the server administrator cleared a proxy-related issue and the website immediately became accessible again. This raised serious questions about the accuracy of the earlier diagnosis.
The troubleshooting process felt reactive rather than systematic. I had to repeatedly ask follow-up questions to obtain meaningful technical information. Instead of receiving a detailed root cause analysis, I was often given generic recommendations such as optimizing plugins, optimizing the database, using a CDN, upgrading hosting plans, and hiring a developer.
I was informed that my account had hit process count limits hundreds of times historically and multiple times within the last 24 hours. However, support was unable to identify the exact URLs, requests, scripts, or processes responsible. Eventually, bot traffic was identified as a contributing factor, including large volumes of requests from GPTBot, Baiduspider, unknown crawlers, and requests with empty user-agent strings. Yet even after identifying bot traffic as a likely cause, no detailed analysis was provided regarding which endpoints were being targeted or how the issue could be properly diagnosed.
The multi-domain hosting offering is another concern. The service is marketed as a solution for hosting multiple websites, yet the account is restricted by relatively low process limits that are shared across all hosted domains. This raises legitimate questions about how effectively multiple active websites can operate within those limits before performance degradation begins.
What disappointed me most was not the existence of technical issues—those can happen with any hosting provider. The real problem was the lack of transparency, consistency, and technical clarity during the support process. Customers should not have to spend hours extracting basic information, questioning contradictory statements, and piecing together the root cause themselves.
To be fair, the support representative remained polite throughout the conversation and did eventually escalate the matter to the server administration team. However, politeness alone cannot compensate for inconsistent troubleshooting, unclear communication, and the amount of time required to reach a meaningful conclusion.
BigRock appears to invest heavily in marketing, but based on my experience, the quality of technical support, troubleshooting methodology, and shared hosting resource management fall short of expectations.
Based on this experience, I cannot recommend BigRock hosting and will be considering alternative providers for future projects.
