Company went into liquidation - but still trading and refusal to return money. Now trading under new name Furniture Concepts.
Criminal
Ordered a table and chairs in Dec 25. Was also told a 6-8 week delivery. Heard nothing. Chased numerous times. Received one short rude reply via email, then back to nothing, then after numerous attempts at phoning their number, finally spoke to someone with a French accent, claiming they had supply issues, and to email yet another address where I would get an update (I did not).
Days after being on the phone with this person, I received a letter saying the company is going into insolvency... It looks like they knew they couldn't fulfil my order when they took my money. It was thousands of pounds. I'm devastated. Even more shocking, their website seems to still be up and running. This is criminal behaviour.
Poor Customer Service - No Item and No Communication
I visited the showroom on the 9th November 2025 and placed an order for a Boxy Small table that evening. I received the invoice promptly, made the payment and received confirmation. I was advised in the showroom that delivery would be approximately six to eight weeks.
In the week commencing the 24th January 2026, I sent a number of emails to the office, sales and admin email addresses requesting an update on my order as well as attempting to phone the company and leaving voicemail messages. Concerningly, I have also attempted to track the order using the feature on the website and it always comes up with an error. My Dad phoned up at the end of that week and interestingly received a return call despite not leaving a voicemail message, and he was advised that there had been a delay with the supplier and I could expect to receive an update by the end of that week. They also confirmed to him that they received my emails.
On the 14th February, I emailed once again requesting either an update or a refund and stated that if I do not receive a response by close of business today, I will be posting a TrustPilot review and reporting the company to Trading Standards. I am still yet to receive a response and will be starting a chargeback claim with my bank if I receive nothing by the end of the day on Friday. Customer service is appalling and I would not recommend this company. I am very disappointed as the table seemed perfect for space-saving in my new house.
Terrible service, do not buy
Like others, I ordered a wall bed in August 2025, expecting delivery around October. It never arrived, the communication from the company is terrible, I left message and sent emails without a response. in Dec 2025 we were told we could get a different bed, slightly cheaper and therefore would be refunded the difference, and it would arrive without any issues. It never arrived and we were told in Mid January 2026 that there where issues with this order. The whole experience has been awful and frustrating. We are now claiming our money back via the credit card and have ordered a wall bed from another company. Do not buy anything from here.

I ordered a Boxy Small coffee table in May 2025, paid £1604 in full and in Jan 2026 the order still has not arrived, they ignor my emails and calls. I now think this is a scam and i contacted a solicitor to understand what i can do.

Little did we know that we’d get to the Christmas shutdown….and 26 weeks on still no sign of our order arriving.
During that time customer service has been entirely re-active, sometimes taking several attempts before getting any response at all. And we’ve simply had a series of excuses and broken promises.
Having had no response to our request for a refund we’ve now had to resort to seeking that refund through our credit card company.
Quite simply the worst retail experience we’ve ever had.
3 months and no delivery
There is no 0 stars so its a 1 star. Im so annoyed with myself for having checked trustpilot after waiting 3 months for our bunkbed, we bought it in August and its now end of November. Not only are they claiming they are experiencing delays Chris, the guy that seldom answers the phone or answers any email has now completely disappeared after our conversation last week where we urged him to deliver our bunkbed. He was supposed to let us know where we stand and give us a solution as we are moving in next week and we need the beds for our children. Radio silence. This seems like a scam. We’ve started a claim through Which?

I would strongly urge people to not purchase through this company. We have two seperate orders with this company and both are running late.
The contact at this company ignores our correspondence, doesn't give required updates despite our order being delayed and we are left with no answers or solutions as to when we will receive them.
No professionalism so I would urge people to go elsewhere!
COMPLETE SILENCE
so far it has been an extremely frustrating process. we have made 2 orders and were promised delivery 2 weeks for one project, and one supposed to arrive in August for another project in London. NONE HAVE ARRIVED AND NO ONE IS ANSWERING OUR CALLS/REPLYING TO US. Unless we hear from the we are going to seek legal advice for our deposit back and cancel the order. Our clients are stressed out as this delays our project completion. This is very unprofessional behavious

After visiting the show room I ordered one of their coffee tables that converts into a dining table as it looked like a perfect design for our living room. The order was placed in May as they said if we would do that, we would receive the order before the factory closed for the summer break in August. I also paid the full amount upfront.
In reality we waited for 6 months to receive a he table. The customer service ignored my emails and were extremely rude when I called. I honestly thought they were a fraud but asked my husband to try before reporting them. They were much more polite when my husband called, so there is that. At the end after my husband chased them several times, we received the order. The product is good ( I have waited for a year before writing the review) but they are a distributor and a crap one. Don’t get involved with them.
This company does not seem interested…
This company does not seem interested in selling me their product. I have spoken to two different representatives about purchasing it. Eventually, I received a price quote and was promised an invoice, but I am still waiting for it. Despite sending emails to request the invoice, I have received no response. How can I buy a product if they are not interested in selling it to me? It is deeply frustrating.

High Quality. I was a little worried because of the bad reviews and Bonbon are not very good at returning emails but the sofa bed and single ottoman bed that were delivered to our apartment in Spain were definitely worth it. We wanted a really good mattress which we could not find in Spain. The sofa bed mattress is really comfortable, even better than our spare bedroom mattress! The ottoman is great too and our family are very happy sleeping on the sofa bed as it does not take a minute to pull out and set up.

Horrific customer service
Terrible customer service in the "showroom" (if you can call it that). The woman working there is extremely rude and looks like she doesn't want to be there. She wasn't doing anything when I walked in and she looked like I was interrupting her. She demanded I give her my email address and when I said I wasn't happy to share that she said she can't help me, so I left.

Poor communication- after 3 months, no table ,no money.
Update.
Table received after nearly 5 months, with scratches on the metal frame base. The issue was reported to the Bonbon, on the day of delivery, and it was asked not to worry as my table transport and table itself was insured. Also I was informed that bonbon, on my behalf, will put the claim to the insurer and they will contact me as soon as they will get the reply. And until today - 12.05.2024 I DID NOT hear back from them. So no I will not change my review. STILL, PLEASE DONT BUY FROM BONBON COMPACT LIVING

I was told by the factory that the photos do not show any scratches, and the miniature marks in the paint you will find on all lacquered tables, we know that you were not happy with the delay in getting your order and neither were we as the last thing we want is problems, what can we to do if anything to make you feel better?
Strangely bonbon and delivery company admitted that it was scratched- photos as a proof.

Buyers beware
Buyers beware - a faulty sofa issue at the beginning of this year still not resolved to the satisfaction of the buyers ... it was comfortable sofa until it broke.
FYI the sofa bed issue was resolved after a year. They replaced the broken back and cushions.
Boxy Small
We just got our Boxy Small table delivered, thanks for everything. The table is very nice and the perfect size for our small flat. We will recommend Bonbon to our friends.
Do not touch this company
Do not touch this company. Clei sells excellent furniture but there retailers in UK Bon Bon are chaotic, unreliable, do not answer emails and even send blank invoices. My experience matches exactly that of other Reviewers. We even visited their showroom in desperation and found it shut up with the telephone contact number stuck on the door missing digits. Why Clei retains their services is beyond me and other reviewers, Clei sadly devalue their own brand
Without doubt the most inefficient…
Without doubt the most inefficient company we’ve ever dealt with over the 40years of my business life. We had an important delivery date to ship the bed directly from Italy to our rental flat. They missed this. They delivered the bed to the Uk by mistake. They don’t answer emails. They don’t answer the telephone. Now we can’t let the flat without a bed.
