scrumptuous! My experience with this company was great. I ordered via telephone the customer service was brilliant. I ordered the happy birthday buns for my grandchilds classmates. They were amazing, melt in your mouth buns. The sponge was so soft and tasty. Thank you Bradford Bakers you made my granddaughter so happy. I will be back next year .

Awful! Misleading! Ignorant! I feel totally scammed.
Purchased a cheese hamper for my mother in law containing Isle of Arran flavoured cheeses and a Scottish clootie dumpling. Added an additional Arran cheese to the bundle. I was so excited for her to receive this birthday gift knowing how much she would love receiving a taste of home, from her Scottish / Arran roots.
What turned up what just awful. Not a single Isle of Arran cheese, some “happy mouse” bright pink super tacky looking cheese instead .
Microwaveable cheap chocolate puddings instead of the clootie.
I cringed from embarrassment when she sent us a photo of her birthday gift.
I paid good money for luxury genuine Scottish produce and received bargain shop sale bucket type products instead!
I contacted the company right away and twice more over the next week. It’s been close to a month and not even a reply.
Since then, I’ve researched this “family bakery” and realised all is far from what it is made to look like. After reading up on them I knew not only would they never put it right but I am fairly sure they wouldn’t even respond or care.
If you want to spend your money with a genuine small family business, these are not it.

Tried to send a box of cup cakes to the physio dept at local health centre.
Ordered Thursday 2nd April and arranged for delivery today Tuesday 7th April.
Delivery was attempted next day 2nd April and as it was the Easter holidays health centre was shut so delivery company chucked them back in van and delivered 5 days later affecting quality and freshness.....if you like cake you'll understand why the product was substandard.
Despite multiple emails I've had no response from this company so if you're thinking of using them I'd AVOID at all costs....terrible customer service no apology no offer of replacement no refund ...very disappointing especially as this was a thank you present for excellent care I received from the physios

I live in France and wanted a birthday present for my nièces 17th so ordered her the With love tower , it arrived just for her birthday at teatime and she loved it ,the presentation and so délicieuse. Thankyou so much.

Ordered a deal for Valentine's day with included chocolate covered strawberries and red roses. Paid for the Saturday (Valentine's day) delivery and waited all day for it to arrive. It arrived 6pm and no red roses. Emailed them straight away and had no response whatsoever.

I wouldn't even be giving a 1⭐️ if i had the choice to give it no ⭐️'s.
My partner orders off here for my birthday present from my children, to find it came two days late. Then when it arrived. Not all gifts was in the box.

Disgusted in this company. High prices for what? Sh#t service

Paid for Saturday delivery at around £9. The box never arrived untill the Wednesday. It was cakes in the box so they couldn’t be eaten by that point. Emailed on the sat and again on Tuesdays but no response. Would not recommend.

If they had just responded and reimbursed the delivery it would all be good.

Ordered a personalised Brownie traybake birthday cake, it arrived on time and packed well. Inside the delivery box the cake itself was beautifully presented in a ribbon wrapped box with a card

It tasted fantastic and was excellent value for money

I telephoned them to ask if they could help regarding a failed delivery from DPD. Firstly you can actually speak to someone who listens and actually helps to try and resolve the issue. Proper customer service and not a chatbot. Thank you.

Cupcakes were damaged on both deliveries. Poor packaging. On tasting the cupcakes they are poor quality tasting made of vegetable fat not butter. I wouldn’t recommend this company vs price and service.

Bradford Bakers deals with a 3rd party company called "send them cupcakes" which is a HORRIBLE COMPANY. I placed an order for over $50 and selected it to be delivered 3 days later on the Monday and I was immediately charged for the order however 3 days later it was not delivered, no communication at all from the company till I sent an email on the day it was not delivered and they responded a DAY LATER. They lied and said they sent me an email saying it couldn't be delivered on the agreed up day of Monday and not till Wed but I never reciieved this email...they are flat out lying and couldn't even prove they sent this email cause they did not. Then they still expect me to accept the wed delivery after a little girl of 9yrs old sat in a waited all day on Monday for her birthday gift which never arrived. The chocolate covered strawberries would also be sent 2 day deliver which means they would be sitting in a box unrefrigerated for 2 days even though Bradford Bakers is only about a 20min drive from the deliver address! Then to make things worse when they emailed me they said the order was for a "stack of donuts" when it was for chocolate dipped strawberries, cookies, candy jar and a stuffed bear...how do they not even know what the order was for???
Then to top it off when I demanded a full refund Bradford Bakers sent me a refund of 14.95 on an order over $50 that was never even sent or received! Wow! Don't risk doing business with either of these businesses "Send them cupcakes" or "Bradford Bakers" because they do not conduct their business in an honest or ethical manner at all! Had to open a chargeback with my credit card company to get my money back.

Terrible customer service.
Failed to deliver balloons for my daughter's 19th Birthday and ended up delivering the following day. The guy from DPD took the package back with him and I had no contact whatsoever from Bradfordsbakers. DPD said they couldn't do anything and have still not received a response to my phone calls or emails. Would NOT recommend.

Looking for a present at Christmas to send to relatives that contained vintage port and cheese. After searching the Internet discovered that Bradford Bakeries did such a package that was better than I expected. I advised my relative to expect a package and they sent me photo of the contents recieived. I was disappointed to find a cheaper quality port included and I complained to the company expressing my disappointment. Within a day I was emailed saying another package was being sent, and this turned out to be the vintage port I'd originally expected to be sent. I was happy that the complaint was completely rectified in 2 days.

I ordered balloons for my granddaughter and air walker and two others they delivered 2 days early and when opened the air walker didn’t come out box and was not blown up well paying £27 for balloons I expect better contacted customer service they replied sent what they asked for never heard back very poor

Absolutely terrible service and now they’re not even replying to me. I ordered balloons and a cake as a surprise for my girlfriend’s birthday. A day before delivery I was told the balloons I ordered were out of stock so they’re sending different ones… then when they were delivered the text I asked to be printed was wrong as well. Also the cake turned up looking like someone had played football with it. Now my emails are being ignored after providing photo evidence and asking for an update twice. Don’t waste your time or money.

Do not order from this company!
I ordered a fruit basket for a relative in hospital. I paid extra for delivery to be the following morning. The courier company then contacted me confirming delivery had been made the following afternoon. However, my sister had not received this. After my emails to Bradfords being ignored I investigated myself. The basket had actually been delivered to the stores dept and not the ward as requested. The fruit lay in the stores department for a further 24 hours being being delivered to the ward. Wasn’t so fresh then! Still have had no reply to my emails!!

I asked for a specific day for the cakes to be delivered for my son’s birthday. Unfortunately they were delivered two days early and spoiled the surprise. These cakes are not worth the money paid

My husband received a savoury hamper as a gift for his birthday. The hamper contained a selection of pates, 2 different flavours of cheddar cheese, 2 different types of savoury biscuit, a chocolate cake, a bottle of wine and a helium balloon.
It was a lovely gift, and was well packaged.
The reason for the 3 stars is because the pate only had a very short use by date of 5 days. Despite contacting customer services to express my disappointment, I have heard nothing. The pate does not appear to be anything special to justify the short shelf life. It came in a jar so I would expect a shelf life of a couple of weeks.

I ordered 2 boxes of 6 cupcakes as a gift for 2 different people. One of the boxes was great. The other recipient received a box of squished cupcakes which bore little resemblance to the photograph. Customer services said they may have been squished in transit or perhaps topping had been overfilled meaning they did not fit in box. Delivery cost was refunded. I really feel whole cost of that box should have been refunded as a box of squished cupcakes was really not the gift I had hoped to give.
