I doubt anyone reads this I could only afford 2 magnets but absolutely love them they showed up 4 days early and are perfect exactly what I hoped they would be I wish the black letters was darker it would be cool if they told u they print slightly lighter that actual color but still great work love my sign magnets

I ordered six signs from this company and when they arrived five of them were fine but one was cracked in half so I immediately took a picture and emailed it to their customer service department. I also did an online chat with a rep who told me someone would get back to me within 24 to 48 hours regarding the email that I sent with the picture. I asked her up why they couldn't help me since they were already chatting with me and they basically said there's nothing they can do so I'm not really sure why they even bother having a chat function. It is now been over a week and I have sent an additional email asking for an update and no one is getting back to me and no one seems to care that I have a sign cracked in half and they are basically just trying to ignore the whole issue.

This company provided some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They clearly do not care about their customers. I will never use this company again and I strongly suggest you do your due diligence and stay far away from them before placing an order with them.

Designed and uploaded an image for a license plate. Everything on the website, the "template" and the preview suggested the design was big enough to go edge to edge as intended.
Received the plate and it had a white border all around the edge, and an uneven one at that. Design was set slightly higher and a little further to one side than the other.
Customer service did reach out but they were unable to properly correct the design. Once they provided a preview with the screw holes visible, there were areas of the design that were impacted by the cut outs.
I requested that they put the design back to where it was and just center it properly, but I've not heard a thing from them since. I appreciate them trying to fix the problem, but I don't appreciate them just ghosting me.
Should I ever decide to order again, I'll know better than to trust their website preview capabilities.

As a Real Estate Professional, timely and high-quality marketing materials are crucial. My recent experience with BuildASign, facilitated through my new brokerage's starter package, has been exceptionally disappointing and has negatively impacted my business.

I placed my order for essential items, including business cards, on April 24th, with an expected delivery date of May 1st. This date passed without any communication from BuildASign – no call, no email, and no package.

After several unacknowledged inquiries, I finally managed to speak with a customer service agent on May 5th.
During this call, I was informed of a 'known problem' that both BuildASign and my brokerage were supposedly 'well aware of.' Shockingly, despite this known issue, there was no proactive communication, and the agent could not provide a new estimated delivery date, vaguely suggesting 'maybe next week.' Crucially, no attempt was made at customer recovery; suggestions like expediting the business cards separately while other items were resolved, or offering a discount for the significant inconvenience, were met with indifference, essentially an 'oh well' attitude.

This lack of transparency and accountability is unacceptable.

I finally received my order on May 16th, a full 15 days after the initial expected delivery and 22 days after placing the order. This significant delay meant I was without crucial business cards for several important social and networking events, leading to missed opportunities and lost potential clientele.

To compound the frustration, the business cards themselves are of poor quality, noticeably cut off-center, rendering them unprofessional and unusable.

My experience with BuildASign has been characterized by a lack of communication, an inability to meet stated timelines, unhelpful customer service that offered no solutions or attempts at recovery, and ultimately, a substandard product.

I strongly advise other professionals, especially those reliant on timely and quality materials, to avoid this company. Save yourself the headache, potential business disruption, and order from a more reliable supplier. I will not be using their services again.

We ordered 100 custom license plates from Mike Murphy, the Senior Strategic Account Manager. Everything started out fine. Once we got the 100 plates in, 51 of them turned out chipped. They were stacked together when they were shipped, which we thought caused the chipping. We asked Mike for a refund for the 51, and he said he would redo them. We recommended they be packaged differently and he said they couldn't change their process because they're such a large company. He redid 51 of them, and 31 of those were still chipped. We asked again for a refund and he wouldn't do it. He said it was up to him to determine if they were usable or not; yet, he didn't see them in person. He only refunded us for 15 of them. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. You'll get poor service and an even worse product. Spend the extra money on a quality product.

I’ve ordered several signs from this company in the past, but the latest generation of their product fell apart within weeks. The components and hardware are made from cheap plastic, and even the few metal parts, like the grommets, came loose almost immediately. Not the quality I expected.

Wish I saw this site before ordering. Ordered once to the wrong address which was my fault but I re ordered to the correct address and it’s been 3 days past the delivery date and there’s still no sign of it. I honestly don’t think they worked on it or ever shipped it. A total scam website and shouldn’t be allowed to operate

I've been using Build A Sign for years . Retractable signs, sandwich boards, etc. Always a fine product delivered accurately and in a timely manner.

Just ordered 12 front license plates for our organization's vehicles. The color of the logo is so far off that they are unusable. The color ordered is an intense bright red, think Canada flag or fire engine red. What they sent is salmon, more orange-pink than red. These are farther from the actual color than the old, worn-out plates that I'm trying to replace.
The image is sharp, and the material they're printed on is as expected. However, the color is a huge disappointment.
I've contacted the company, we'll see whether they stand behind their work!

Update May 1, 2025. Build A Sign replied promptly regarding the quality of the product. They maintained that the license plates were "printed as expected for the color on the uploaded image file". Which is ridiculous. However, they did offer a partial refund of 70% or to reprint the order at the cost of shipping. I choose the second option.
The second printing arrived today and is noticeably better. The printing is at least red this time, though still not quite of the quality I'd hoped for. Based on the offer of a second printing that yielded a better result, I'm changing my rating from one star to two.
Bottom line, if you're concerned about quality, look elsewhere.

This is a garbage company. On Dec. 8, 2024, I broke my rule of never doing business with a company that advertises on Facebook. I ordered five "Deport Elon Musk" bumper stickers credit card was charged immediately. Not only did I never receive the product, I never even got an email confirmation from the company. I will post this review on Facebook to deter any other chumps like me from engaging with this wretched corporation.

I ordered a sign of an Anime themed fire place magnet to place over the metal plate that covers where the fireplace use to be and it arrived in great condition. Everything looks great and fits perfectly. I just wish I could've gotten ita little bigger but due to the space it is it, there's a patch in the way on the metal plate that would keep anything bigger from sticking to it properly.

Bad customer experience. I designed four 2'x3' flags and approved Buildasign's art proof for each flag. One of the flags was a WWII era 48-star/13-stripe US flag. Buildasign shipped me a 56-star/14-stripe US flag. Two other flags that I received did not match their approved art proofs, as well. I contacted Buildasign customer support via chat twice over several weeks and provided photos of the flags they shipped me. I was promised that I will be refunded for the three bad flags, but I have never received a refund. I will continue contacting Buildasign until I get my money back. Maybe this bad review will catch their attention.

I ordered a custom bumper sticker which contained no offensive language but apparently expressed a sentiment with which they disagreed. They unilaterally canceled the order and didn’t even tell me.

This company must be owned by a MAGA Trump supporter. Canceled my anti Trump bumper sticker and didn't even have the courtesy to email that they canceled. Anti 1st Amendment.

Placed an online order for our nonprofit, as we were having an event and needed some tabletop signage. After not hearing any updates as to shipping/progress after 6 days, I called them up and after more than 2 hours on hold, being shuffled to the back of the hold queue, I never got an answer as to why they never produced the order or even contacted me that there was an issue. The day following the phone calls (the day before our event and too late to order signs from somewhere else), I received an email that they had cancelled the order as a "computer glitch" had prevented them from working on the art files that I had uploaded, which were simple, high-res PDF files, properly sized for the application. Just horrendous service all around. My recommendation is to do business elsewhere.

This was my go-to website to have 7' retractable banners made for my Las Vegas events. At least half of the time they would be slightly damaged from the packing, but I would just fix what the issue was and would continually ask them to pack them properly after making other orders.

So this year, I ordered on 7' retractable banner (the pole part was so damaged I had to borrow one from a past banner and use it in the new banner, then wrote them a polite email to PLEASE ship the NEXT two 7' retractable banners properly and they were the most damaged with the packaging so torn up that my product was exposed, I took a lot of photos of this....too bad they have gone downhill in packaging the product(s) properly and apparently they don't care about shipping an order where it is not damaged upon delivery.

UPDATE: The company replaced both 7' banners, and packaged them very professionally.

Ordered a table runner. one side of the table runner print job was skewed. Two months of contacting and nothing. Disputed the charge with PayPal and they lied and said they addressed the issue. Word of advice, pay with your Amex and nothing else so when they try to screw you, at least you have a fighting chance.

I am a candidate for a minor local political office. I needed door hangers for a Labor Day weekend door knocking campaign. I did a design on their site and placed the order well in advance. The order didn't arrive, and didn't arrive, and didn't arrive. Finally, on the Wednesday before the weekend, they sent me an e-mail saying that they couldn't fulfill the order due to a "system glitch" and were canceling it. I went to their Web site and was able to pull up the design, exactly as I submitted it, with no problem. They clearly could have done that too, but they didn't! I called, and the representative refused to make good on their commitment or (despite the fact that they claimed to have express shipping) do anything to help us. He said that even if we placed the order again they would not deliver it until SEPTEMBER 15TH!!!! We are now SCRAMBLING to find a print shop that will print a rush order, and will likely pay hundreds of dollars more (and we are not rich!) if we can get it done at all. Buldasign let us down. Find another company to print your literature or signage.

I ordered signs and metal holders (EXPENSIVE) for an estate sale after the passing of my parents. Within a few days, I received the metal holders. I called and was told by their support services that the signs were shipped separately and would be received within a day of the holders. We are a week later and still no signs. They cannot even find the orders now as these signs were ordered twice by BAS and NEVER SHIPPED. HORRIBLE COMPANY and support!

I had a great experience with them a couple of years ago. I went to tweak my old sign and order a new one. I could not log in. I tried to change password, and it failed with an error "Something went wrong. Call us to possibly get help" (it actually SAID that....to "possibly get help").
A half hour later after being on hold, being cut off, being on hold again, I finally got someone that said, "let me send you a password reset link". I told her I'd already done that. She said she'd do it in the admin. She was gone for 5 minutes, then came back, it sent me to the same page and failed to reset the same way. To which her response was, "that's all I can do. I'll have to put in a ticket". When I asked how long for a response, she said, "I really don't know. Maybe in 24 hours?"

At which point I informed her she's cost me more time trying to log in than it would take to recreate it at a competitor, that to wait over 24 hours to resolve a login problem was outrageous, and that they've lost my business.
