I was taken almost immediately after I arrived. I was treated with care and kindness, very efficient staff, Alex the dentist was very helpful explaining my treatment and further apts. Checking that I was ok throughout the whole experience.

Very disappointing experience with Bupa Dental Care Woodford and Bupa overall.

I confirmed with Bupa before booking that the clinic was covered under my plan. At my appointment, I had X-rays done and was given a treatment plan, which I agreed to.

However, when booking treatment, I was told I had to wait over a month — or pay AGAIN for the same examination if I wanted to see a different dentist in the same clinic.

This was never explained upfront, neither makes any sense at all. This nothing more, just a usual scam.

When I contacted Bupa, they said they are not responsible for the practices they recommend, which is extremely unfair as a customer.

The whole situation feels like a scam. Patients should not have to pay twice just to continue treatment within the same practice.

I would advise others to clarify all conditions in advance before proceeding.

Registered in Dumow as they opened to NHS had to cancel in the morning due to overnight sickness did not want to give it to anyone so they cancelled me from the NHS sounds like I should of just made them all sick disgraceful service !!

I always have 100% care from my dentist and his staff,im a very nervous patient and the care and empathy i recieve is all important to me,they are always willing and happy deal with any concerns i have and im very grateful to them,i would not go anywhere else.

1 had a busy two days planned, a cream tea with friends then the following day a photoshoot, both planned for months.
At breakfast, I ate fresh plums, and a front upper tooth disintegrated leaving an ugly stump. I was mortified. I rand Bupa and was offered an emergency appointment at 12:30, with no expectation than to get it checked out and a plan of action created, my plans and social life to be cancelled/ put on hold.
I sent a photo of the breakage in advance with a plea that if a miracle could be performed by Joanne my dentist, I’d much appreciate it.
At my appointment, and following a X-ray, Joanna was able to rebuild a permanent tooth around a new post!
I made my tea with friends only 15 minutes late, and the photoshoot went ahead the next day too. Brilliant service!
