Camile Thai Reviews 

I was reading the reviews for Camille and had hoped that our experience would be better as the food is decent. We booked Camille for our Sons engagement party. Having given them over a months notice and informed Jose that they could arrive anytime after 6pm. We informed them that the food was to be served at 7.30 (as we had small children). No food until 8.30pm. Each time I approached the team to ask what was taking so long, they literally ran away to hide from me. I sent an email to Jose after outlining what had happened. Absolutely no care at all about delaying the food for so long. I would not use again. I am sure it is fine for a take away, but would not advise anyone to use Camille for an occasion for catering.

Hugely overpriced and quality is inconsistent

I usually love Camile. Went to the Newbridge one. Charged €17.50 for a can of Coke Zero and the crispy chill chicken. 4 tiny bits of chicken rock hard and dry. Rest was big lumps of veg also rock hard. Will be sticking to the Camile circle k from now on.

Very nice service and staff very prompt

However the Green Thai curry, such a basic... it was beyond sugary sweet. There isnt a single sweet ingredient in Green thai curry, why?

It was a treat that ended up in the bin

Ordered a takeout for 5 people got the Korma lunch cost nearly €60 with naans drove home nearly 30 mins opened the food the portion size was a disgrace so small not worth the money I made a Complaint via the web page No response at all Go else where

I love the food and staff were so nice and kind food was tender and delicous and the chefs were so kind to great service overall would recommend.

Received an unsolicited flyer in my mailbox despite having a "No Junk Mail" sticker. The company or their subcontractor ignored it. Will complain to the authorities next time. Not recommended.

This is regarding Camile Customer Service / Secure Online Ordering as opposed to the food. I received a Gift Voucher for this Company. When placing my last order I thought the balance shown was very low. I queried this with Customer Service Support by email as this seems to be the only way they operate. I asked for a list of previous orders as you cannot get this information online. When I received this, I noticed that one of the orders was placed in Dublin City and on the date in question I was out of the country. They did send another Gift Voucher for the exact amount stolen from my card but no explanation and no gesture of good will for the hassle involved. When I followed up and asked would they contact the Gardai about this fraud they said the order was placed through a third party platform that they no longer use and it couldn't be traced. Very suspicious!! Just to warn other people - Do not purchase Gift Vouchers from Camile.ie as they are obviously not Safe.

Exceptionally slow. Took almost an hour and a half and I am less than 3k from the restaurant. I had to leave it took so long - no food for me tonight!

I received an incorrect, messy and very late order on the 8th of March. On phoning the Naas branch I was told I would receive a refund. Despite following up with them on the phone and via email/feedback to their head office I have received neither a response or a refund. Very poor.

Food has a chemical taste to it. Rice is hard, plastic. Meat was so hard.
The last time I ate Camile was 2018, I was not impressed. Thought id give it a go 2026. I shall NEVER again eat Camile. The staff were pleasant though. Service great. But the food, very poor.

I had ordered today Camile chicken Katsu Curry at Citywest and don't happy because chicken and mostly curry sauce was terrible

From a regular guest in the Maynooth restaurant, great food, truly delicious. Best in town. Kind and friendly staff too. 100% recommended.

I ordered kids’ noodles and rice with curry for my two girls. My 6‑year‑old took only a few spoonfuls and immediately said it didn’t taste right. I assumed she was just being fussy, so I finished her curry myself.

Shortly after leaving the Marshes Shopping Centre Dundalk, she suddenly became very sick. She was crying, distressed, and kept saying she could still taste the curry while feeling unwell. I drove home as quickly as I could, and about 20 minutes after we arrived, I began to feel the exact same symptoms she had.

Both of us became sick in the same way, within a short time of eating that curry. This makes me seriously concerned that something in that food was not handled or prepared properly. I will be notifying the HSE so this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

Excellent food and Great service

Such a pity as it was a lovely place when it started out, now its too sweet especially the Massaman onions are ridiculously big. There is huge potential here they are just not listening to their customers 😐 I'd love to see this place work out, it used to be a real favourite, but every time I try it again nothings changed.

Take away dinner
Ordered Stir fry for 3 and it was sloppy and expensive for what we got.
Service was good and place very clean.

I ordered 2...the same...duck dishes last evening. On delivery the main bag holding the 4 cartons was badly torn and soggy, the juice from one or more of the cartons having leaked badly. I should have refused to accept it in that condition.

The food itself was of poor quality, the duck was tough and tasteless with soggy vegetables. All in all, a very poor experience.
