I feel so lucky to have worked with Ross on getting my mortgage! As a first-time buyer with a tricky credit history, I was quite nervous about the process and didn't really believe I'd have much luck in securing a mortgage at all, but Ross made everything feel super manageable from the get-go! Great service from my mortgage advisor Ross Culley. He’s been excellent throughout the whole process, explaining me how does it work (I’m a FTB), but also providing me with support and exhaustive information whenever I had questions. He’s always been extremely vigilant, for example proactively asking me if I wanted to review the rates as soon as they were going down. Excellent service!!

Ross Culley is the best mortgage advisor in the U.K. he is responsive to the minute and knows every detail you think you know and more. I was hesitant to pay any fees but after the service I got I was more than happy too.

Terrible service from Jordan, wasted 9 months trying to get a mortgage for my son. Promised the moon and delivered nothing. The worse thing is that Jordan never follows up, takes for ever to respond to messages or voice mail or doesn’t even bother despite being reminded. Always has an excuse for not returning calls. Had I used my own mortgage adviser from L&C in the first place, the mortgage would had been approved and in place months before. Just don’t bother! I gave up at the end and completed as a cash transaction. Jordan said he would then help remortgage post purchase but didn’t follow through. Same old.

I cannot recommend Yulia Isaeva highly enough—she is truly exceptional. I was initially referred to Capricorn Finance by an estate agent, and to be honest, I had my reservations about speaking with a mortgage broker, as I had no idea where to begin.

From the very start, Yulia was incredibly helpful and patient. She took the time to sit down with me and walk me through the entire home-buying process step by step, providing a clear and informative presentation that made everything feel much more manageable.

A few months later, while I was still casually browsing properties, she graciously repeated the same process with my spouse, helping both of us become better informed and more confident in our understanding.

Her approach has always been transparent, and she never made us feel rushed or overwhelmed.

Although we faced some challenges with the first two properties we considered, Yulia remained optimistic and encouraging. She kept reminding us not to lose heart, assuring us that those experiences were simply leading us toward the perfect home—and she was absolutely right.

When we finally found the right place, we encountered a few hiccups due to the previous attempts, particularly during the mortgage application process. Yulia handled everything seamlessly. She advocated for us every step of the way, securing an excellent mortgage offer at just a 5% down payment—an incredible outcome for us as first-time buyers.

Yulia always acted in our best interest, not only in selecting the mortgage but also in coordinating with estate agents during some of the more challenging moments. She was consistently supportive, knowledgeable, and proactive.

We are now very close to exchanging contracts, and I truly cannot thank Yulia enough for her unwavering support. It has been a genuine pleasure working with her, and I honestly cannot imagine having gone through this process with anyone else.

Sadly, i have been an ongoing customer for Capricorn, but the latest experience with Luke has been so unprofessional. He has never taken up my offer to discuss on a call and his final reply was the below, when i chose to go with a more fitting option. Sadly i wouldnt recommend them anymore.
'' Given you will only end up completing on one mortgage - you’ll end up wasting my time. You’ve already wasted some of my time and proceeded with him so let’s call it a day. ''
