Very hard to restore and carbonite Won’t help to import photos. They make you pay more money to support.com. I called support.com and they said the photos haven’t even downloaded to the new computer yet even though carbonite said it did. Very difficult process.

I called to upgrade my service- got no pick up twice. Finally was able to leave a message, and got no response.
Reconsidering.

I was very pleased with how easy it was to be able to transfer my files over to my new computer, and it only took a day or two to complete the process. The only reason I am not giving this review five stars is that I found that files and photos that were saved inside multiple folders (a folder inside another folder) were not restored. Luckily my old computer was still active, or else those items would have been completely lost.

Love Carbonite. Can you please add receipts in your sidebar. Many users use this for their business and need a receipt to get reimbursed.

I have used Carbonite for many years. I have had to restore my data once because my hard drive failed. I did it over internet and it took two days. Recently I purchased two new laptops and used a Ethernet cord and it only took about 6 hours. I would highly recommend Carbonite for any laptop user because it backs up your data anytime you are on Wi-Fi. Plus laptops break and get lost. I do not use it on my desktop as I have an external hard drive that I have never had to use.

When I got a new computer a few years ago, I was able to retrieve my files for Legacy but not for Quick Books. Sort of left a souir taste in my mouth.

Carbonite does a great job by 1.) providing me a monthly report of the files that have been protected, and 2.) recovering files that had to be recovered because my laptop crashed. With all the data, photos, music, etc. that could have been lost, I thank Carbonite for their recovery.

Carbonite has worked for us for years through bad times with the computer and refresh of new computers, It works great

Carbonite saved me when I had a hard drive failure on my laptop. It is for this reason that I will continue to subscribe to carbonite. It has been a while since I reviewed my status, which means I need to so I can ensure my future data security.

Please stop the constant email ads to buy your product for additional computers. Do you really think anyone who uses your product for one (or, in my case two) computers has any unprotected computers lying around?

Trustworthy but there are never offers for long term user discount. New users are always rewarded with supercheap prices. Well, now there are other reliable alternatives and I am looking into those.

I have been using Carbonite back-up program for many years. EXTREMELY happy! It saved me many times over the years! When I lost documents on my computer, Carbonite to the rescue! Or when I needed to go to a previous version of a document if by mistake I saved a computer document, but had deleted info before re-saving. Carbonite again to the rescue! I know of someone who was fired by his job because he didn't back up documents & he had visited homes & documented info for the job, but his computer crashed & lost everything. He wished he had a great program like Carbonite! Very, very highly recommend!

I have Carbonite for years and they do awesome. I have a new computer and am getting reinstalled.

Love this program. Twice my computer crashed and I was ABLE TO RETRIEVE ALL MY DOCUMENTS and load them onto a new computer. This is a god-send for my business.

I paid for a renewal but I don't think it's working!

I’m a low-income senior, Carbonite’s frequent (at least every year) PRICE INCREASES REALLY HURT ME. I live on just Social Security only. If you increase prices again, I’ll be forced to quit Carbonite.

Knowing that my files are backed up by Carbonite provides peace of mind as various ups and downs occur online. It think this service is a bargain!

Since I've been with Carbonite, I've managed to save a large number of files that would have been lost if I had not backed them up.

Unfortunately, there was at least one huge file I missed when I checked off the files, and by the time I reported it to Carbonite, they were lost forever. One of your recovery experts did their best to bring it back, but ultimately wasn't successful.

I have now requested back up of a second computer and I'm crossing my fingers that everything works out smoothly.

I really appreciate your preserving your customer service dept. as I derive a great deal of peace of mind by having someone at your company who can fully explain everything that goes on.

I would and do recommend you to my friends.

I took my computer in. It was ready to die. I bought a new one and had them clone my hard drive onto my new computer. It did not work. They were able to bring over most of my files, but there were some that were missing. Thanks to Carbonite, I was able to get all my files back. It took 1.5 days, but it was worth it. Thanks Carbonite.
