emily helped me find the perfect card for my boyfriends sisters belated birthday! she knew exactly where to find it and it was brilliant!

A hospitality service in Barkingside High Street a very pleasant lady her name was Chris Femni . Very professional and was very helpful.

False delivery dates on order confirmation, shocking customer service I ordered 29th December told delivery would be 2nd January, it wasn’t when some parts arrived they arrived damaged other outer parcel box and item inside an even with evidence you could tell they didn’t want to refund me and I’m still awaiting parts of the order the birthday has now been and customer service is totally shocking been told someone was going to look into my missing items on Monday I’m still waiting for update on this total experience has been appalling

I wanted to update my review to say that the Card Factory responded very quickly to an email, were extremely apologetic and refunded me. I originally gave 2 stars but have updated this, given the excellent customer service.

I ordered a personalised calendar for a Christmas present, spent ages choosing photos for it and paid not a small amount for it. I gave it to my sister and she has discovered they have sent a 2025 calendar, not 2026. I'm so annoyed and disappointed.

I placed an order for a card and gift as surprise to my wife for my anniversary and paid extra for delivery day before the date .When I checked with them I was informed that order is not ready and won't be delivered on time .It Left me with no time to arrange the alternative.
Why take orders if you cannot process them.

Ordered a personalised family planner. Instead recieved a normal calendar without columns for organising individual family members. The ordering process is confusing. That said, the company did eventually issue a refund as a gesture of goodwill’

I went to your branch in Blackheath Rowley Regis this morning. I was met by a lovely young lady called Sarah. She took me to the type of card I was looking for and I found the prefect card for my best friend’s birthday. Sarah is a lovely, professional young lady, with an air of confidence, without being pushy. Sarah deserves to go far in her career. She was a delight on a very cold miserable morning. 🥳👍👏🏻

Applied for a seasonal sales assistant role with the card factory on the 23rd September. Got a response 3 days before Christmas, 22nd December, turning me down for the christmas seasonal staff role. I have a Masters, I am in my 20s, I put my full effort into the application and described how I would fit the role well/ my skills.

I suggest you re-hire for recruitment.

Gratefully since working elsewhere that values my skills and doesnt give sub-human treatment.

Last minute decision to try to get a Christmas helium balloon for my grandson,they were just closing the door at Beaumont Leys Leicester,a lovely lady let me in and I managed to get the balloon,thank you so much he loves helium balloons and I’m sure it will make his day when it comes out of the box I’ve put it in.The people that work there go above and beyond

Went into the shop at 5.50 pm and as a lot of different area and cards asked the young female member of staff to help me find cards so I didn't hold them up as closed at 6pm. Managed to select all 4 cards apart from 1 which the young lady helped me to pick up. The older assistant!manager? came through from the back shop and locked the door. I asked what time it was and if closing. She said yes locking the door. I said I would just be one minute as picked all cards just one which the girl had lifted for me. She said we are now closed. So I handed the cards to the young assistant and left as felt the older lady was quite abrupt and despite having the cards in my hand to go and pay for these was not interested in customer service. I will not ever enter this shop again. This is the first time I have felt that the business was not wanted! I own a shop and would never treat anyone in this manner and am very aware of customers keeping me from closing therefore would not behave in such a manner. Obviously they don't need the business!! I left the shop at exactly 6pm and bought cards elsewhere!

Great experience in bluewater branch - cashier was very polite and asked how I was - everything you require in a cashier - and asked if I needed anything else - cashier was Luke

Went to the Blaydon store and was served at the till by the Manager Ashley. Her attitude was shocking and extremely rude and disrespectful. As a manager myself I am surprised that she even has the role at all.

Went into Card Factory Longbridge today, was served by Julie, she was polite, pleasant and very helpful. Excellent customer service, very welcoming. Thank you Julie. Have a wonderful Christmas.

Went into the Southend store today around 5:20 was unaware of their closing times but wasn’t informed either. Was picking out my cards and was nearly finished before we were rudely spoken to being asked to make our purchases and leave as they were closed. At no point did any of the 4 workers dotted round the store inform us they were closing soon, so to be spoken in a rude tone by I assume the manager of the store was shocking customer service and uncalled for, we weren’t rude to any of the workers so there is no need to be rude to us it’s unjustly. When letting us out someone went to ask if they were still open and before even finishing their sentence the manager had already cut in and told them bluntly they were shut. Workers especially members of management should always treat customers with kindness it costs them nothing. This made my shopping experience a bit disappointing and I didn’t leave with a good attitude towards that store. Hope you can sort out your customer service!

Was in your fleetwood store today and just like to say what lovely helpful staff you have

Excellent customer service.
I rang them and my call was answered within a few seconds.
As DHL had changed my delivery date, my order was too late for the occasion.
I was immediately given a full refund.
I am so impressed with this company.

If I could give 0 I would… I bought a balloon and paid specifically for it to be inflated. It showed up in a tiny box, which was immediately a red flag. When I opened it, it hadn’t even been attempted to be inflated — it was still in its original packaging.

When I reached out to customer service, their solution was for me to go in store (on my birthday) to get it inflated.

Obviously I wasn’t going to do that, so I spoke with their live chat, which was just as unhelpful initially (and ended the chat on me the first time) until I asked to return the full order. Only then did they refund the balloon and the extra I paid.

I don’t usually celebrate my birthday, but this was the one and only thing I had planned. For anyone looking for a reliable alternative, I’ve had a much better experience with Balloon Monkey — next-day delivery, arrived inflated, and no issues.

I won’t be ordering from Card Factory again.

Every time I have been in this shop and see different members of staff they are all very nice and helpful and friendly.
