Charles Clinkard Reviews

Lovely shoes, just what I was looking for but the left shoe feels tighter than the right one. I have kept them (because I like them) hoping that the left one will feel better with wear but not sure the quality /fit is as good as I expected.

The more time goes on, the more I appreciate the 'old' shops and services that still do things in the old way: good customer care, helpful, clear communications, nice in store staff, easy returns and refunds. Charles Clinkard is genuinely one of those - along with M & S and John Lewis (though JL have now outsourced their customer care to South Africa which was not a good move). And oh yes, I bought some great boots, good discount, great help fitting them in my Bristol shop. Very pleased

Charles Clinkard is a go to for good shoes by reputable brands. The service is excellent and returns are easy.

I ordered a new pair of sandals, what I got was someone returns, the book was damaged, very little packaging, obvious they were used. If it wasn’t for going on holiday and having no option, I would have returned them. Never buy from them again

Shoes arrived at the expected time well wrapped.
Exactly what I expected high quality boots

Needed to contact customer service to ascertain order status as last minute change of plans meant I’d possibly be away by the time my order was delivered.
Spoke to a really helpful young lady who confirmed all items were in stock and would be dispatched that day so I had them in time to travel for Christmas.
Can’t thank that lady and the team enough.
Great products, prices and service is a rare combination these days

Staff at store helpful and friendly

Excellent service. Fast delivery. Fantastic product and price.

I had to send back the sketches I bought because they were to big. I must say the service I had from Charles Clinkard was excellent, first class. Prompt delivery and a quick refund.

The lady Angela in the Northallerton Branch

I’ve been shopping at Charles Clinkard’s since I was a child in Middlesbrough. After moving to the southwest twenty six years ago, it was a delightful surprise to see this familiar name in Cribbs Causeway. My shoes are comfortable and elegant. The quality is excellent and I’m very pleased with them.

Ease of use of website, slippers despatched and delivered efficiently

I ordered and paid for some boots. The boots were delivered by DPD, but not to my address, but to a neighbour down the road. I went to the neighbour to collect and they denied having them despite photographic evidence. Called DPD who as far as they were concerned had fulfilled their contract by delivering the parcel. Called Charles Clinkard who backed up what DPD had said, even though they had not tried to deliver to my house and then they refused to honour a refund or replacement. It was even suggested I go back and confront the neighbour. Save your money and shop elsewhere. Their service is appalling, leaving a customer out of pocket shows me exactly what they think of their customers.

Good website, easy to navigate.Delivered on time and well packaged.

Delivered promptly. Good Service.

I was very well looked after by the sales lady and I didn't make life easy for her by changing my mind over what footwear I wanted. I ended up with two superb pairs of boots. I highly recommend Charles Clinkard for your footwear choices.

Great price very competitive compared to other sellers. Also very fast delivery. I would buy from here again.

Quick delivery, shoes as expected
