Awful service! I ordered a cowhide rug but the one that arrived was much smaller and a completely different pattern. I have tried contacting them by contact form and two different email addresses to explain the problem and ask for it to be exchanged for the correct one, but I haven’t even had as much as an acknowledgment. I then tried calling them and they don’t answer the phone. I have now had to resort to trying to resolve the situation through my credit card company. Mistakes happen but a good company can be measured by how they deal with the mistakes, Citycows appears to have no interest in resolving issues, avoid this company!

This is my 2nd purchase from City Cows - the rug arrived on time and was in excellent condition however it just did not look right in our living room - nothing wrong with the product at all.

I returned it in it's original box, I received a call from Nick saying that they got the rug and a refund would be in my account tomorrow - the money was there as promised.

Avoid buying anything from this company. Ordered 2 stools which arrived damaged and stained. Stools were returned; over 2 months later, still waiting for a refund. Countless calls made to Nick as well as Kate and today to Leanne. They promise to return your calls but never do; they also promise someone will call you back but again no one ever does. Nick promised a refund which he said would take a few days. Still waiting and still getting false promises. I do not think this company knows the meaning of customer service. All I want is a refund for goods I no longer have. Wish I had never ordered online. Did not think for a minute I would experience such a poor level of customer service.

Another tale of City Cows not honouring their own refund policy. Ordered two items, one not suitable so called to sort. Despite Nick assuring me refund would be dealt with once item was returned, not the case. Emails unanswered, telephone calls not returned, when I did eventually get to speak to Nick he wasn’t very happy to have his own no fuss refund policy quoted to him. He then called me back to say he would personally process refund that night and text to confirm he had done so. So far just the sound of tumbleweed, no refund, no text, no email. Credit card provider now dealing with it. Crazy way to do business as reviews on products mostly 5* … reviews re admin/refunds/customer service all 1*. I won’t be using them again and would sadly advise others not to either.

Don’t shop here. I purchased a gilet for my mum’s birthday, but they sent it in the wrong size. Despite sending numerous emails over the course of a week, I received no response. When I called, someone answered and said I would get a call back, but I never did. When I called and managed to get through a second time, a person named Nick hastily instructed me to return the item for an exchange. By then, the birthday had long passed.

I returned the item, paid for the postage, and tracked that it was received. I emailed again to remind them about the refund. It has now been over three weeks since they received the item, and I have had no reply to my emails and no refund. What a dire experience. I’m now having to dispute the transaction through my bank. I recommend that everyone avoids them.

This is my second purchase of a beautiful quadruple sheepskin rug from this first class company I recommend them highly. Anyone looking at citycows website and not sure I’d say
give it a go you won’t be disappointed they are
top quality products and are not expensive

Update: In their comment below it says my refund was issued 2 months ago, I got my refund £204.99 on the 11th July ( this is not 2 months ago, perhaps City Cows Cowhide has a backlog as they take so long to reply) and it was from mycreditdispute from my bank. Still waiting for my refund after several emails and no acknowledgment.

Good product and service good delivery times.

Owner called to advise me that 2 of the colours I had chosen were very alike & offered me a refund, I chose another colour instead. He told me that my order would be with me the following day and it was.
I will happily order from City Cow again with service like this.

Didn’t receive my order! Telephoned to complain and nobody had the decency to phone me back! Diabolical company, would never deal with them again

Very poor customer service had an issue with a foot stool I bought that is defect does not sit flush to floor it is rocking. After calling everyday for 5 days and sending 3 emails no reply from the company to try and resolve this issue. After being told by call handler they have escalated for urgent call back. Extremely disappointed in their customer service having spent over £200 on a foot stool. Will not be using this company again.

We are selling our house and needed a rug for the next day I phoned the guy on the phone asked which rug I gave him the numbers he said order it online I’ll start packing it now you’ll get it tomorrow and I did a big thank you city cows great service
