CMC at chesterfield is a brilliant show room and garage. my motorbike was taken in for repairs on Tuesday morning.and by wednesday. Graham Cooling called to say they were starting work on the bike. by wednesday afternoon Graham emailed and sent photos of what the problem was how good is that he also emailed Thursday to say he hadn't forgotten about my bike and he was waiting for spares to arrive and it might be a couple of days what a garage Graham has been absolutely great keeping me informed about what's happening can't thank him and his colleagues enough for what they're doing Regards Ronnie BMW F.

I contacted CMC with a view to selling my motorcycle, I was asked for an anticipated selling price and sent some photos. Mr John Clench rang, arranged to view the bike.
He arrived in good time and purchased the motorcycle and the money was immediately transferred into my bank account before he left. He was very polite and courteous and I would like thank him for his help.

CMC Cannock, after sales and service dept the worst I've ever been unfortunately to deal with the 45yrs I spent with motorcycling.
God help if you purchase a bike from them and have problems with it, four weeks of messing about before getting my refund NEVER again.

Well got my 3 bike of cmc after a bad accident on my gs 1200 bought a Harley davidson though this will slow me down whilst I get fit again . Told the sales man look I'm gona have this for 12 months then go back to gs ,,yea no problem I was told we will look after you as you such a good customer and and we will do you good deal back on Harley against another gs as long as you look after the bike , spot on no worries 9 months later I call and say look not getting on with Harley can I trade it in I've only put a thousand or so miles o it ,,,sales man tell you what leave it 2 months call back and we will sort this out ok I said not riding it now anyway as it was February so leaves it calls today April 8th hi it's Me wanting to trade my harley in for Gs what can you do ,,,Was then told we not really buying that style ov bike at the moment and we can only give you 6k after paying 9k 11 months ago I said no way has the bike depreciated 3 thousand pounds in 11 months I was told you will look after me and explaind the situation End ov day they could give a toss all sales tell you anything then bullshit you when you want to trade back in I'm so pissed of with them buyers be careful

Top class service from start to finish.
Having made the choice to have the major 18000 mile service, including the valve check on my s1000xr. I can’t fault this place for the work they carried out from my initial enquiries, through to booking and having had all works completed plus extras as requested, and a fresh MOT.
The customer service I experienced for me was 10/10.
All the work was documented including pictures of the valve check strip down with tolerance readings, torque settings and parts old and new for proof or works completed. This is great to have, to not only feel Assured the works have been done, but also proof for next owner at some point down the road.
All parts were listed on itinerary, service light reset and service book stamped, signed and dated, plus Loads of pictures and paperwork proof.
The bike came back clean, with all bolts, panels ect complete with nothing damaged, missing or loose. The attention to detail on my experience was just brilliant. No leaks of any kind and the bike feels like new.
I would like to thank Lee Clarke for the initial chat about the service, and with the booking and extra request's.
Also the mechanic who unfortunately I don’t have a name for, top job.
And last but least, Neil Holiday who I dealt with on completion of the bikes works and payments.

You all have been a pleasure to deal with, and just really wanted to say thanks for everything.

Efficiency, quality and turn around time was top notch.

Sold my bike to cmc and dealt with Stuart. Whole process was pretty straightforward and he was honest about his mistake in initially valuing the bike. We ended up meeting in the middle and he came to fetch the bike at the time and date we agreed.

From my first call with CMC Motorcycles Coleshill, I was made to feel comfortable, received really good clear advice, was not put under any pressure to buy, the communication help from Martin was just the highest quality, even when I was going to have to delay the final payment due to an error from another party Martin again was understanding and helpful. The guy who delivered the bike to me again was a top man, had a good three hour journey but still did not rush me on taking delivery, gave me a run down and good advice about the bike. All in all I can really truly say If your looking for a bike and want someone you can trust definitely use CMC Motorcycles. Thank you not just for the bike but all the help right up to the delivery.

Kim at CMC Clay Cross was unreal. I ordered a helmet over the phone and she arranged it straight from the manufacturer into store for me. She knew exactly what I needed, kept everything smooth, and it arrived quickly. The helmet was perfect — exactly what I was after and more. Proper top-tier service. Highly recommend! 💯

Firstly Terri is excellent. Really friendly, enthusiastic and knows her stuff. She really tries to make sure you’re happy and getting great service and you can tell she wants to make a sale both sides are happy with. Unfortunately this is where the positivity ends as she’s held back by the rest of the sales management.

Tried really hard to buy a bike from cmc Newport and have used them happily several times over a number of years. It seems new staff or the fact there is now little competition in South Wales means their standards have dropped lately. I called in to buy it on 2 separate occasions but wasn’t able to.

Was given a very low part ex offer for my bike with absolutely no negotiation. Part excuse being they would have to put to trade as they can’t retail that type of bike. Despite being a bike I purchased from them, similar bikes (age and type) being on the website at the time, and having been told this on a previous part ex that was then on their website soon after. Sold mine via webuyanybike for £500 more than their offer.

Put a deposit on the bike i wanted and went in on the weekend to purchase. Knew it was priced high compared to comparable but hoped to negotiate a small reduction. Discovered in store that the bike needed a major service and was quoted £750. Initially they refused to consider any reduction and eventually offered £200 off. Sales manager even acknowledged the bike was overpriced when shown autotrader ads for comparable bikes and noted another store had taken it in on too high a part ex price but they had to make their profit.

I had raised a couple of minor issues on bike and the manager seemed more interested in proving me wrong and telling me I didn’t need to buy if not happy. Eventually agreed to speak with service manager on the Tuesday to see if slight discount on the service might be possible and would call me.

By 1pm on Tuesday I called as had heard nothing. Given the poor service and being told on that call he had not even spoken with the service manager, but would try to and would call me back, I advised I would prefer my deposit back. I wasn’t even asked why I had decided to pull out of the sale! Thoroughly disappointed with the poor attitude and want to put profits over customers.

Have since purchased a bike from a dealer in Bath and the difference in attitude, price and customer service was night and day so definitely worth looking further afield.

CMC motorcycles were my first choice when it came to buying my Triumph Tiger 1200, because of their excellent choice of quality bikes, lifetime warranty, and locations near to me. Adam at CMC Cannock was a pleasure to deal with, and made it simple and hassle free to buy my bike. It was delivered on time by a friendly team who talked through everything, they even swapped out a low battery which they discovered on the morning of delivery. Absolutely five star service from enquiry to delivery with excellent communication.

Phil deserves something for his excellent customer service. He was very helpful on the phone and went out of his way to help me and my daughter sort the visor out

Because of scammers I was uneasy buying my bike privately. For self preservation i decided to go to a dealer. I knew what I wanted and checked out several companies, including going into local dealers.

I eventually found the bike I wanted at CMC Motorcycles. For my peace of mind I determined everything I needed to know about the bike together with verifying their credibility and standards of customer care.

I’m 76 years old, never before have I been treated with such care, respect and attention to detail, they exceeded every expectation.
On reflection, I believe them to be an outstanding company. What I asked of them was not easy, they met and exceeded everything I wanted, all in a friendly, caring and most professional way.
Please believe me I’m not getting anything for this, I’m simply telling the truth.

This transaction has built a kind of friendship. If you are looking to buy a bike look nowhere else. Thank you Martin, your Boss and the shop manager, you’ve been truly outstanding, and that’s the Truth.

NOT ABLE TO GIVE A GOOD REVIEW,On appointment to view bike we were waiting for attention!! eventually got to talk saying we’re here to view/ Harley bike Sadly not able to start BATTERY flat, not impressed but we decided to buy it,all sounded good Bike delivery 2weeks later,first short ride engine light on second ride I was very concerned re/ETControl would NOT twist smooth kept grabbing,I was disappointed I called my excellent mechanic to check out,told me sensor problem and E T C needed to be replaced.As I was concerned I said please book in to sort,This costed around £500 ,irang CMC BIKES but talking with after sales person really didn’t want to know apart said bike had lifetime warranty I should have rang to complain,But for getting Warranty as eager to feel safe on using bike.Very disappointed in buying bike,after sending emails BUT none replied,I’m unable to give my recommendations to other bikers.

Visiting cmc motorcycle yesterday wow what a great motorcycle shop all very friendly and welcoming i went for a helmet and Kim and leanne was very knowledgeable and helpful very friendly and nothing was too much trouble i would definitely recommend this shop for all your motorcycle requirements 😀

Bought a £12,000 bmw r1250rs from cmc cannock. All went smoothly from Simon. Oil and filter change. Called in at cmc chesterfield to ask about having service there for 22,000 miles baring mind it's only done 16,500 and cmc chesterfield said although they were the same company they did not know what it had done. So they said it would have to have a 12,000 service again. Seems phones and emails are not part of this companies business. They they said that the 22,000 service would cost in the region of £850 to £950. I think someone is taking the piss. CMC lifetime warranty is not worth the paper it's printed on. Love the bike but service stinks at CMC I'm afraid. Be warned ⚠️

CMC Newport are fantastic! I took my Yamaha MT07 in to have the suspension lowered. Prior to booking in, Phil spent time on the phone with me discussing the various options and costs. When I got there for fitting, the team were so friendly, helpful, and did a brilliant job. The showroom had a great selection of bikes, clothing and accessories, and the snacks van offered a great choice too! Altogether it was a really fun experience - and I'm so pleased with the lowered suspension - my biking career has been completely invigorated and given this 63 year old very short female at least another 30 years of riding!! Thank you CMC. Highly recommended!

Chris from sales contacted me after I made an initial enquiry ( on his day off !! )
Answered all my questions sent me a video of the bike and valued my part exchange all with out me leaving the house
He then seamlessly dealt with the whole process which eventually led to me being the proud owner of a stunning Scrambler
Delivery of my new bike and collection of my px all done very quickly. The delivery driver Paul was a top bloke as well

A very quick and easy process and received a fair price for my motorcycle. No problems.

Booked a test ride online for a Ducati 899 Panigale at CMC Newport, confirmed by email. I travelled 130 miles from North Wales, only to be left waiting over an hour, told to “float about,” and eventually informed the bike didn’t even work. The Ducati on display was in poor condition with badly fitted fairings—nothing like the immaculate standards I’ve always seen at CMC Clay Cross.

A 260-mile wasted round trip, no test ride, no purchase, and a huge loss of confidence in CMC. Very disappointing, especially after previously recommending them to friends.
Purchased a bike in December from Clay Cross and service was exceptional! Bike was immaculate! What has happened to CMC?

Bought a BMW r1250RT having seen it on their website. I live in Cornwall but I was after a specific model.
I rode for 32 miles then couldn't take much more of the vibration. They are taking the bike back and giving a refund. I've had the bike independently assessed and the engine and transmission need removing. Not what I want from a nearly new bike. Ross has been helpful.
