Collett's Mountain Holidays Reviews 

We were very pleased with our Collett’s hiking experience in the Dolomites. The independence of choosing our own activities with the local knowledge provided each evening by the Collett’s advisor allowed us to tailor our hikes to our unique capabilities and interests. Coupled with the ample public bus transport in the Alta Badia area, our trip allowed us a flexibility not afforded on more organized tours.

Booked Dolomites trek, everything went smooth and well arranged.
Only thing is that we originally booked (9-10 months in advance) for 2 on twin sharing basis, wherever private room was available and added a 3rd person a month before the tour to our booking and that 3rd person was adjusted on an extra bed in our rooms and there was no difference or reduction in price for the 3rd booking.
I would've expected a reduction in price as on 6 nights we were 3 in a room or at least a separate room on some nights.
Only when asked for a separate room on last day of the trek, we were given a separate room.

We felt very taken care of by Taea and Autumn. They helped us find the hikes that accommodated our physical restrictions, recent knee surgery and awaiting hip surgery. The hotel and restaurant personnel were also kind and provided excellent service to go with the absolutely delicious food offerings. I can't recommend this center- based offering enough! Perfect for those wanting freedom to do what you want but have expert guidance on hand.

From start to finish our experience with Collett's was brilliant! They gave us helpful pre-booking advice and information, responding speedily to emails. Transfers to and from the airport to our accommodation meant an almost seamless travel experience. Our self catering accommodation option at the Residence Angelika was perfect and even better than we could have imagined with it's convenient location and mountain views, friendly and helpful hosts, a wellness suite we could use every evening and fresh bread delivered every morning. The walking pack provided by Collett's was an invaluable go to guide for choosing our walks as were the evening meet-ups with our Collett's rep, both of which helped us to make the most of each day regardless of weather, energy levels and mood!

Well organised holiday, excellent local reps who knew the wide range of mountain walks available. Great documentation with written walk description, paper maps and App for ttd phone with all walk details and clear tracking ensured safe and enjoyable walks. The hitel was first class and provided good quality rooms and excellent food. Second time we have used Colletts and we would use them again.

A well organised walking holiday. The hotels were all lovely places to stay with great views and the food was excellent. The days were not too long so there was plenty of time to wind down and relax.

Having been with Colletts for probably20 years I have always looked forward to going on holiday with them. Due to Covid and illness I hadn't been with Colletts for about 6 years and during that time they have changed from having a lot of staff in Chalet accommodation who cooked, cleaned and led the walks; it was a new experience for me to be hotel based and to do self-guided walks. We stayed at Hotel Christian and it was excellent in all respects and we are already thinking of returning to them next year.
The only comment I would make is that the transition from chalet style to hotel style holidays meant there was less interaction between the guests. There was office hour but that seemed to focus on the task of each couple planning their own walks rather than sharing their experiences with others.
However that is just a comment and we are looking forward to returning next May to see the alpine flowers.

Great Hotels

Great communication throughout the booking process and information on the portal. Excellent choice of hotel and walking areas. Have used Colletts since 2003 and, in our opinion, the best walking company around (and we have used others).

It was a fabulous hotel in a beautiful setting. Helpful team to guide us, great maps and information especially using the app.
The hotel facilities with the spa and the fantastic food just added to the fantastic scenary and walks. We were also very lucky with the weather!

Our first trip with Colletts and we were very impressed. The walk guides, quality paper map and app equipped us very well to choose a good variety of walks in stunning scenery. We especially liked the daily office hour with the local rep who gave us very helpful advice to firm up our choice and tailor the walks to suit us.

The hotel and location were both beautiful and the food excellent. We will definitely holiday with Colletts again.

Excellent holiday with really helpful staff who give personalised advice

Our experience with Collett's was top notch. We were a large group of friends and family and each person's needs were well met. Our guide, Ayalen, went above and beyond to help make our week so enjoyable and hugely memorable. She stayed late at the evening meetings, booked a bar for Birthday drinks, and was an amazing source of information. The hotel choice was also exceptional.

Good hotel, good area, great weather and excellent Collett's hosts

We had a 10 night stay at the Sporthotel Panorama in Corvara organised by Collett's. The hotel and food were superb.
Corvara is very well located to access a wide range of spectacular walking, which is facilitated by the excellent local bus service (free with the guest card from participating hotels). We also purchased a points based lift pass which allowed us to use ski lifts at a reasonable cost on some of the walk routes.
Collett's provided a walk pack with a comprehensive range of easy, moderate and challenging walk options, more than enough for our 9 days. The walk descriptions and overview maps made it easy to identify potential walks of interest. All walk routes were available in an easy to use app, making navigation very straightforward. The evening 'Office Hour' sessions with the local walks team were very informative, and helped us to get the most out of our time, and added a lot of value to our trip.
Highly recommended.
