Very quick service straight forward payment and delivery online service.

delivery was a bit late considering I had payed extra for it to be delivered on a Friday when it came on the following Monday

Delivered when promised but very early in the morning before I was able to unlock the cover on the tank. It would be useful to know how this was achieved as thieves could also use a similar method

Booked oil delivery for a certain date or before (week lead in time). Did not receive the order, called the day after the delivery was due to be told they didn’t know why it hadn’t happened, I asked for a call back to let me know when I would have it. Did not receive a call back so called again to chase it to be told it would be the next day therefor 2 days late. Customer Service was poor, made to feel like I was in the wrong and told that in future if I need it soon I should have rung and not done it online! I live approx a mile from the depot and was disappointed that I had to wait extra days and was told that the date I was given was estimated which is not what it says on my order (it says on or before a date).
I like to use local suppliers but will not use Consols after the way I was treated.

Good reliable company, and will continue to use.

Arrived on time and with a friendly driver. No issue

The order process was easy and the delivery arrived promptly with no chasing needed. The delivery driver was very friendly and he managed the challenging access to our tank with ease and good humour. It was a very positive experience from placing the order to completion of delivery (much better than our previous supplier) so we will using Consols from now on. Thank you!

I ordered oil on 29th March with a delivery date of the 22nd April which I considered very slow. However on 22nd it did not arrive. I called the office and was told that they had problems with the tanker. They could not give me a delivery date. Today is the 26th April, still no oil. The least they could have done is called me or emailed me to keep me informed but nothing other than two emails asking me to review them. Well I have and my view is that they are not up to the task

We have been regular customers for several years, now you cannot depend on promised delivery times. Ring up and a mountain of excuses are spouted every time regardless of us being dependant on oil for cooking, heating and hot water. Three times this has happened since last Autumn. On placing our order last month we were told 3 to 4 weeks delivery. In the 3rd week we rang to check when delivery would be as we only had about 1 inch of oil left in the tank. Waste of time, all we got was they would deliver 'As soon as possible' On asking what he meant, days... weeks... the same statement was continually repeated.
Only good comment I can make about Consol are their courteous drivers.

We're not listening to the companys' excuses anymore so they've lost our purchase of 4000 litres a year.

We rang another local company who were very helpful, said they could deliver within 5 days. In fact they delivered in less than 2 days.

We ordered and were told it would be delivered on or before 11th April, we had a note put on the order to ring the night before because of bird flu regulations gate is kept locked. There was no contact with us, we had to ring on 8th to see if the delivery would be on 11th as we had a hospital appointment. Rang on 11th and were told should be sometime next day.
Delivery driver most courteous and efficient, but it would have been much easier to be given a day as the order was placed on 19th March, do you expect people to sit and wait for a delivery for almost a month?
