I have been using Contractor Umbrella for the last 7 months, and have had a brilliant experience with them. There have been a couple of hitches along the way (not CU's fault, some mine, some the clients), but responses from the company have been rapid and helpful, and everything has been sorted out efficiently. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them based on my experience.

Decided to go with contractor Umbrella after market research. My relationship manager Kayleigh Goodfellow always answered my queries patiently. Havent had any issues over the duration of my contract.

For contracts where you need to use an umbrella company, I would recommend Contractor Umbrella and will be using them again for my next inside IR35 contract.
There fee is one of the lowest I found, but with absolutely no compromise on the professional service delivered, which was top notch.
Absolutely no hesitation in recommending them.

Unlike some other umbrella companies Contractor Umbrella send you the client contract for you to approve and authorise, and don't just sign it on your behalf. Nor do they have onerous conditions in the terms of employment.
All the payments and paperwork is dealt with in a timely manner and without any problems.
Overall they are very professional and a pleasure to work with.

Helpful professional staff, any problems sorted out quickly, paid on time.

Hassle free umbrella company!

CU were very helpful when I started contracting in 2016 and are my preferred umbrella. Good insurance cover and an efficient, low-key approach. Lots of guidance available and overall a better experience than from a couple of larger outfits (when choice was limited).

The admin is pretty smooth. The usual occasional queries over contracts, agencies or misunderstandings are sorted out through a friendly phone call or email.

I was quite happy with the service provided by Contractor Umbrella.

Contractor Umbrella have provided a prompt and efficient service.
Any minor queries have been answered quickly and payment has always been on time.
Having heard many horror stories of other umbrella companies, I was fearing regular issues with payment etc - but my experience with Contractor Umbrella has been entirely hassle-free.

I've been with them since 2006 and have only stopped using them as I'm retiring. During this time I changed contract on several occasions which they handled well. If there ever were issues over timely payments, it was always the fault of the company paying funds into Contractor Umbrella, and C.U. always resolved things promptly. I have no issues recommending this friendly, communicative and helpful team.

I've been working with CU for the last 18 months and in that time I've been impressed with the level of service they've provided to me as a contractor. Responses to queries have come back within a matter of hours, sometimes much faster, they've been helpful and friendly. Systems and processes work without failure and my documents are clear and always available. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend CU to contractors looking for an umbrella company.

Super easy to get set up and use. Handy portal for checking the status of payments and invoices. Christina was incredibly helpful with any questions I had and very responsive.

Been with them well over 2 years now after switching over from my own limited company and have had absolutely no issues whatsoever. From quick set up, to timely timesheet approvals and prompt responses to my queries. Contract managers I have had assigned were always helpful and pleasure to work with (Christina my latest manager has been extremely helpful ). Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Contractor Umbrella set me up quickly and efficiently. They were always polite and came back to me promptly when I had issues or questions. I would definitely recommend them.

Although I submit my time sheets on time but there is no guarantee that payment will be paid on time.

I have to chase them every time a payment is due and it is up to them to pay as it suits them without any regard to the client or the contract they have signed.
They don't even bother to send a courtesy email informing you that your payment will be delayed.

I have been contracting for a long time and had never experienced such bad customer service and incompetent company.
