Converge Im Done

I didn’t think it was possible for an internet provider to be this consistently disappointing, yet Converge somehow proves otherwise. Calling this “poor service” is generous because that would imply it works sometimes. What you’re offering feels like instability disguised as a paid connection.

Speeds are barely usable, disconnections feel constant, and latency is so bad that anything real-time becomes pointless. Packet loss isn’t occasional, it’s expected. This isn’t just inconvenience, it’s a pattern of failure.

And that failure cost me something that actually mattered. I lost a premier playoffs match because of this connection. Not because of skill, not because of strategy, but because the internet completely gave out at the worst possible moment. All the time and effort put into getting there was wasted because the service I’m paying for couldn’t stay stable.

That loss keeps coming back to the same issue. Every lag spike during that match, every delay, every disconnect directly affected the outcome. It wasn’t a fair loss, it was a technical failure deciding the result. What should have been competitive turned into hoping the connection wouldn’t collapse, and it did.

What makes it worse is that this wasn’t surprising. The service is so unreliable that even going into that match, there was already doubt. And that doubt was proven right. That premier playoffs loss is exactly what this service leads to when something actually matters.

Day after day, the same problems repeat with no improvement. No stability, no consistency, no urgency to fix anything. It feels like once payment is made, service quality stops being a priority.

At this point, choosing Converge feels like risking important moments on a connection that can’t be trusted. That playoff loss is proof of that.

Giving this a 1-star review already feels generous. Realistically, this level of service doesn’t even deserve that.

Converge Outage Freaquency

this is the second time within 2 months that our wifi has been down for the same reason. converge took a month to fix the issue and we had to buy a new portable router (not converge) just so we could function properly. their customer service is terribly rude. they ignored our problem and told us the outage would last 1 week, but it lasted a month. they even had the audacity to charge us for the month we did not have internet.

This is absolutely infuriating. Your customer service is really subpar. The internet speed is quite unreliable and weak for a company whose description is fastest fiber internet.

i absolutely HATE converge and its services. any day or any time my wifi cuts off for DAYS at an end and costumer service is one of the worse things ive ever seen. i cant even have a normal weekend or just have fun online with converge. theyre SCAMMERS. i hope you dont experience what i had with this shitty service i wish i can give it zero stars

Dear Cebu branch Converge

I am beyond furious and completely disappointed with Converge Cebu. I availed their lowest plan, the BIDA888, thinking it was a decent entry-level option for my rented place. Big mistake. From the very beginning, they treated me like I was some kind of burden instead of a paying customer.
They knew from the start that there was already an existing Converge line in the property — it was just cut from the previous tenant. I even showed them proof that the wire could easily reach the house. But did they make even the slightest effort to install it? NO. Zero. They just dragged their feet, made excuses, and then mid-process, they suddenly decided to CANCEL everything without even trying properly.
Their technician or whoever was handling it skeptically told me “the wire cannot reach the house” — even though I literally had photos and the previous setup as proof. Then they had the audacity to claim “the box is already full.” What a blatant lie! I’ve seen other people in the area get installed without issues. It’s clear they just didn’t want to bother with the lowest plan customer and came up with lazy excuses to ditch me.
This is unfair and unprofessional treatment. I waited days, followed up multiple times, and got nothing but disappointment and wasted time. No installation, no service, no respect for the customer who already signed up.
Never again. If you’re thinking of getting Converge Cebu, especially the BIDA888 — DON’T. Go somewhere else that actually values customers and puts in the effort. Worst ISP experience ever.
Converge Cebu, do better. This kind of imbalance and laziness is disgusting.

Converge was good at the beginning of…

Converge was good at the beginning of my subscription and internet is really fast but just recently, after more than 2 years using them we are encountering this trouble. Everyday starting at 9am until 5pm the internet is down and be back at 5pm. Seems like someone else is using our connection during the day. I have been complaining to converge about it many times and urged them to send a technician to check the line but nobody came. They are all promises that they will really send someone and make it urgent but it is almost a month.

Customer service is very poor. I had to contact them multiple times, yet my upgrade and billing issues are still unresolved.

Unreliable Service with Poor Support

In terms of speed, it’s fairly stable at times, but it doesn’t make up for the frequent outages and long wait times just to reach customer service. Fixes can take days or even weeks, with little to no updates or compensation.

Honestly, you’re better off switching to a more reliable provider like Red Fiber or others.

Converge is just the absolute worst

Converge is just the absolute worst. First of all, they'll ruin your home by drilling holes in the walls to fix wires and low-key threaten you by saying if they don't do that, there's no other way. The supposedly 5G high tech fibre service I have (that I'm paying through the nose for) has a wire flung up over and through tree branches and is looking super flimsy to me. Then there's their horrific customer service which NEVER gets back to you EVER and now I have TWO super unsightly wires crawling over my walls and my landlady hates how they destroyed my living room window so the wire could pass through it (on the way to the trees). Oh, and the performance is spotty, at best. Fast if you're lucky, painfully slow way too often (and I have to work from home and pray whenever I've got a meeting or an interview). Seriously, do yourself a solid and do NOT get Converge (unless you're some sort of masochist).

Monthly Intermittent service or
No internet service at all..
Worst part is the technical Service Support they provide..
Cannot recommend Converge these present times..

Please stop giving generic responses

Please stop giving generic responses. I have already made the payment last Thursday and submitted proof multiple times. This has not been checked or verified properly on your end.

I expect real action, not repetition of the same instructions. Please manually verify the payment, escalate this matter, and restore our internet service immediately.

This issue is already affecting my work, and repeated chat closures without resolution are unacceptable.

During site visits, the technicians don’t seem to thoroughly check the issue. I hope this can be improved; otherwise, we may have no choice but to terminate the service and consider other providers.

Service is terrible..

Service is terrible... I lost our internet last Feb 2026 and its already April now. I kept on calling their customer service some is knowledgeable with the process. Their technician is a liar too , they closed our ticket saying I have internet already but come on even if you visit out place in the Philippines and connect using that IP you would be stress too. You want us to settle the disconnection and paying for 3months without receiving any service , thats insane.

Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY FROM CONVERGE!

Used to be good, after a year of headaches, over 50 CASE IDs with ZERO RESOLUTION and weekly outages I’ve since moved on to greener pastures.

Nonexistent customer service and THEY NEVER REFUND YOU FOR YOUR REBATE REQUESTS.

A class action lawsuit should be filed against Converge ICT.
