Craftstones Europe Ltd is a family-run business with a rich history that stretches back decades. Officially established in January 1991, our roots trace back to our earlier days as Craftstones, operating under Baines Orr (London) Ltd, a wholesale supplier of semi-precious gemstones since 1970. Today, we are proud to be the only major wholesaler in the UK to offer tumbled polished stones in an extensive range of sizes—up to eleven grades in some cases—allowing us to serve manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers with unmatched variety and bulk supply capabilities. Our reputation is further strengthened by our partnership with Topstones Pty Ltd, a world-renowned producer of high-quality tumbled stones based in Cape Town. This exclusive relationship grants us access to an incredible selection of common and rare minerals used in the tumbling process, giving our customers a wealth of options to explore. While we began as a specialist in tumbled stones, Craftstones has evolved and diversified over the years. Our collection now spans a vast array of semi-precious gemstone products, sourced from our extensive travels and hand-selected to ensure exceptional quality and uniqueness. Whether you're a wholesaler, gift shop owner, jeweller, therapist, or New Age enthusiast, our dynamic range caters to all, from the practical to the esoteric. Our product lineup is as diverse as it is ever-changing, featuring: Tumbled polished gemstones, Jewellery, Natural minerals and specimens, Polished gemstone gifts and carvings, Holistic shapes and gemstone trees and Temporary strung materials for jewellery making We proudly carry over a hundred varieties of tumbled stones, many of which are also available in rough or specimen form. Some of our items are truly one-of-a-kind, with unique sizes and grades that can't be fully captured in a price list or online. That’s why we encourage our customers to visit our warehouse in Redhill, where you can explore the full breadth of our collection in person. At Craftstones, we are passionate about bringing the beauty and wonder of gemstones to life—offering something for every taste, need, and budget. Come and discover the extraordinary with us!

What a place, fantastic first visit!
We visited Craftstones Europe for the first time a few weeks ago. I’d got in contact with them a few weeks before and spoke to Kieran on the phone. He was just brilliant, answered all my questions and even some before I had asked them. Sustainability and ethics are a big thing for me and I had no concerns there at all, information was all to hand. Meeting him on the day was just great. He walked us round, explained the different areas and all the finer details. The quality of the crystals is fantastic and the variation of what they stock is amazing. And then there is the tumble room…I think we were in there 2hrs alone!
It was our first visit but not our last. Looking forward to our next visit. Thank you everyone at Craftstones Europe!
Karen
