I ordered 2 bedside tables and 2 chairs in November last year. The bedside tables were in stock but both damaged on arrival. They were replaced promptly. Thats the positive side. The chairs had bespoke fabric and I discovered came from Egypt. There were endless delays, numerous excuses for them and promises made which were not fulfilled. They did eventually arrive and were okay, but the whole process was traumatic and frustrating. I would never buy from them again for that reason. I wouldnt recommend anyone to buy non stock items.

Really happy with my furniture. It arrived on time, was well packaged, and looks even better in person. The whole process was easy from start to finish, and the quality seems great. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy from them again.

Really pleased with my experience. The furniture was exactly as described, well made, and great value for money. Delivery was on time, everything arrived in excellent condition, and the customer service was friendly and helpful throughout. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for quality furniture and would happily buy from them again.

Received a half finished chair. This was beginning of December 2025. Have just received a replacement, so took 8 months. Terrible customer service, would never use this company again

Lovely piece of furniture. Put it in a quiet part of the garden and can pause and sit down to rest and listen to the birds.

Purchased in May 2024 a “matching” bed and wardrobe that didn’t actually match in colour. After two attempts, the wardrobe we received was still poor quality and we were told the correct bed would not arrive for a number of months. They refused to refund my money in October 2024.
Took them to county court in June 2025 and won a refund. County court bailiffs were unable to get the money so had to go through the high court and pay a commercial bailiff. Eventually received my full refund in March 2026.
Life’s too short to deal with this furniture company.

Updated review. I have just seen the reply from Crown French Furniture so I thought I would include the text below from their email to me dated 31 October 2024 that was submitted to the Courts as part of the case.

"Hi Gareth,

Thank you for reaching out regarding the wardrobe and bed we delivered in July. I understand you’re requesting a return; however, due to the time elapsed, I’m unable to accept the items back.

That said, your bed exchange is in process. The replacement bed is currently part of a shipment we're awaiting from our factory. Unfortunately, there have been delays in production, but the order is confirmed and on track to be included in our upcoming shipment.

As of our latest update, we anticipate the shipment to arrive around November. To account for any potential delays, we’re asking customers to expect delivery by early December.

I apologize for the wait and appreciate your patience. Rest assured, we're committed to completing this exchange with assembly service included to ensure your set matches perfectly.

Great customer service, really helpful with online order, providing pictures and clear details to assist purchase. Beautifully made chair, one of my favourite home purchases.

3 months quoted but it took a year from ordering to delivery. The piece itself is okay and was made correctly to specific sizes. Paid for assembly which was mediocre but maybe better than doing ourselves Delivery updates were intermittent.

Originally placed order in August 25, order arrived damaged in December. Delivery guys were sent to try and repair but they are not furniture restores. Awaiting replacements to be sent in April. The items are really lovely, not cheap, but disappointed that I'm still waiting for my replacement pieces. Lead times are too long.

Placed order in October 2025 after phone discussions and was promised I could expect my large bookcase December/January 2026. Contacted the company early January for an update, to be informed we wouldn’t receive the item until end February/March due to stock shipment from Egypt being delayed!

Currently disputing this case for a refund.

I really love the bed frame I ordered — the quality and design are exactly what I hoped for. However, a couple of issues took away from the overall experience.

I paid for white glove assembly, but when the delivery team arrived, they had no record of this service. This led to an uncomfortable and tense moment where they insisted they wouldn’t assemble the bed. It was very upsetting at the time. They did eventually assemble it, and to be fair, the confusion wasn’t their fault — the instructions they received were clearly conflicting. I’d strongly recommend that the company ensures delivery teams get accurate, consistent information to avoid unnecessary stress for customers.

Additionally, the bed frame seems slightly too small for my mattress. I’ve had to push and bend the mattress to make it fit, which doesn’t seem right. I’m unsure if this is a product fault. I have emailed Crown French about this but they have not responded so not great customer service.

The item was lovely and we were very pleased.
We did have to wait rather too long for it to arrive however.

Only downside was the delivery time, but this was largely out of the control of the company.

Please think carefully before you use this company. I really hesitate to give anyone a bad review - there are enough of them in the world. However, this is the exception. Our bedside cabinets arrived and the colour did not work in the room. Also they were rather bulkier than we imagined and so we asked to send them back (as per our consumer rights) This took over 2 months and many many emails most of which they did not respond to. It was not until I threatened them with legal action did they organise transport (at our expense) We are still waiting for a refund on our monies (nearly £1k). We bought the product at the end of April. An online company is only as good as its customer service and returns policy. I would give them no stars if I could. Perhaps this review will initiate a refund? Otherwise I will be taking this to You and Yours. Ironically they sent me a review link proving how unjoined up their entire service is.
