Never fix snags!!! Awful do not use

Dishonest and disreputable. They have taken a substantial deposit from me for windows and promptly ceased trading. Allegedly now owned by THI Group who appear just as dodgy.
Use this company at your own risk!

Had windows, doors, guttering, soffits, fascia and dry verge done.
Windows and doors were good quality and well fitted. The interior was left tidy and sealed in well. The dry verge was awful and had to have most of it redone. I didn’t receive a FENSA certificate and house has now sold. Called company today to sort and they have ceased to trade.

Do not give this company any money, they are scammers... Trust pilot should remove them immediately.....

A pleasure to do business with, from quote to installation. What I look for from trades is professionalism and attention to detail, DNA are easy to work with and provide good advice.

Having previously used DNA for upstairs windows replacement,they were the first place I went to for a new front door.The whole process was easy from first enquiry through ordering,measuring and fitting. I can certainly recommend DNA Home Improvements and will definitely be using them again.

The overall quality of work was excellent. DNA were professional and efficient. Special mention for the window fitters...Josh and Rob. Their workmanship and attention to detail was exceptional and they were pleasant and friendly throughout.

Used DNA in the past excellent service just had two more fitted same quality service two nice lads can't fault them excellent work

Had a slight problem with the locking mechanism on a door they installed two years ago
Customer service spot on and arranged a fitter within two days to sort and fix the problem

DNA fitted windows and a French door for me 2 months ago to a poor and incomplete standard. This was after a protracted and painful order process where communication was poor and errors were made with the order itself causing a long delay.

Following the poor installation, the sales manager, senior fitter, another fitter and even the MD of the business have been out to review my complaints and the faults. All of them agreed that my concerns/complaints were justified and that remedial action would be taken. It is now over 2 months since the job was originally installed and over 3 weeks since the MD's visit and despite chasing on 3 occasions for an update I am still waiting for confirmation of what DNA are going to do to put the situation right and when.

I don't normally leave negative reviews as I strongly believe in giving people the opportunity to put things right but this is ridiculous.

DNA please response to my emails and help me understand when I can expect a solution to all of the issues raised!!! Your current approach is NOT acceptable.

Having been let down by 3 local firms I was hoping that DNA Home Improvements would actually turn up and do a proper job,I wasn’t disappointed! we had Kieran fit the doors and Craig and Co fit patio doors , all workmen done a great job and cleaned up thoroughly after them, The office kept me informed of delivery dates and updates along the way, so far so good and would highly recommend to all.good communication and a very efficient team of workmen, all pleasant and nothing to much trouble for all involved.Big thanks 😊

Recently had a lovely front door fitted. The fitters were superb and the office kept us fully informed - highly recommend.

Avoid this company at all cost.

We asked this company to quote for a conservatory on a new build. We had to chase and chase to get a quotation, which missed numerous items we’d requested.

An additional requirement was that our new build is on pilings and the likelihood would be that our conservatory would need to built using a raft or pilings.

We asked DNA Home Improvements to contact the builder regarding the construction and shook hands on the deal.

We waited weeks and weeks. Emails to DNA Home Improvements not returned.

Finally got an email today saying that after speaking to the builder DNA Home Improvements say they can no longer assist with this project.

They have strung us along for months.

I would not recommend DNA Home Improvements at all.

Update.. over two weeks now since suppliers inspected and agreed with numerous faults.. Dave and Dave come the following day. I’ve chased and chased for a resolution to now be told Lisa and dave are on annual leave.

Totally unacceptable considering the overall poor workmanship and fitting.

Would I recommend? Defiantly not!!!

Totally unacceptable after taking our deposit we made numerous complaints and although very good to start with now we’ve paid looks like they would prefer the court process.. I’ll change my review if the issues are rectified. Will update either way as trying to be as fair as possible as certain fitter was great throughout! We’ve windows fitted now that are the worst I’ve seen and I’ll be looking at removing as the quality is shocking! This was not the spec of window you sold me in your sales pitch nor what I was promised. I’d recommend looking for another company at this point as these windows are crap in my opinion. I made an official complaint 3 days ago to only get a generic response that they will look into it.. you’ve let yourselves down Dna don’t promise what you can’t deliver.

Have just had Phil out to give me a quote for a new back door. He gave me a quote (the amount I would have to pay) on a photocopied 'DNA'
Pricing sheet. All seemed to be going well until I asked for a formal quote detailing what I was ordering with of course the price. He told me this request was unreasonable and that I wouldn't get anything until I had paid the deposit. He then became quite irritated and walked out of my house, so rude. I'm left very disappointed, but it just confirms to me that double glazing salesmen actually are the charlatans so frequently parodied in popular culture.

So far, I have only dealt with Phil Jones who came out to do my quote. He was pleasant and on time and did not try and back me into a corner (like some other companies had tried to do). He also wore a mask in the house , as I did, and neither of the other two companies had done that. I am not vulnerable, but I appreciated that small action very much.
I had initially asked for a rough idea of the cost of replacing the windows on the front of the property, but Phil was so easy to deal with and the prices were so attractive that I ended up placing an order for the whole flat to be done - 10 windows and two doors. The surveyor will be with me to measure fully in only three days and when I spoke to the lady on the phone, Diane, she was as pleasant as Phil. To date, my experience of this company has been extremely positive and I have faith that the the work will be carried out to a high standard. Phil also agreed to delay the fitting until April, which is much better for me.

Contacted DNA this morning regarding a faulty lock on our front door (manufacturing fault) that was installed over 2 years ago. Customer Services were very polite and helpful and stated they would get someone out as soon as they could. We are based in North Shropshire and the DNA guy was waiting for us at the front of the house before we returned from walking the dogs, having travelled from Crewe... Excellent service, again, can't recommend them enough. Thankyou
