Very positive experience
From initial consultation to delivery, it has been great working with Camilla. As a self-confessed technophobe, I've been able to leave everything to her and then have it explained to me in a language I understand. Disappointing service
Disappointing service. I took out a Google ads package and the service from the account managers was awful. They didn’t contact me - I had to chase them continuously. I wasn’t given monthly meetings and any information I received was complete guesswork. Complaints were made but DPOM’s responses were always corporate and superficial (like the reply below). Be warned great advertising - poor service. Used a different email address to remain anonymous.

Early days but so far the service has…
Early days but so far the service has been good. Onboarding is good and made me feel they are making an effort to understand my business. I'll update this review once my Google Ads have been running a bit longer and I've experienced their service a bit more. I do appreciate their transparency and they do manage expectations probably a bit too much if I'm being honest, I'm a sensible person I don't need to be told there aren't guarentees etc but I understand why they do this.

Honesty & Integrity
I have little experience in Google Ads. I had a phone call with Lee to discuss how to optimise our Google Ads Budget and potentially partnering with DPOM. He could not have been more honest and helpful. When I chatted through our key stats, his recommendation was that we did not need to complicate our strategy further, but to increase the budget on what is already going well for us. For this he said, we did not need to use DPOM. I left the phone call confident of the next steps, Thank you Lee for your honesty and integrity, and not just taking on a client because the opportunity is there. It is refreshing and much needed in this ever changing landscape.

I was struggling with running my own AdWords, I found DPOM and have been very pleased with the result. The AdWords are running consistently, I feel my account is in safe hands I can speak to them when ever is needed. It has given me a stable base to build from. They are not one of these once your signed up they forget about you type companies.

I know absolutely nothing about google adwords and from experience, i know some advertising experts take complete advantage of this. Dpom really try hard to give me information in laymans terms without jargon and ultimately, i measure success on how much my phone rings - which is more than ever.
I also think it's a good sign they invite their clients to review, they'll always get a bad one but that shows complete transparency and makes me trust them more.

I've been a client of dpom for a while for my SEO and due to their excellent I've now taken them on for PPC. Brett has helped me grow my electricans business and I'm looking forward to taking advantage of more services by dpom.
I was originally impressed by dpoms honest and open approach, i know nothing about the internet and to be honest, expected my phone to ring from day 1. They explained how that would be unlikely and I was taken aback by their honesty. I'm glad I did, I'm busier than ever and I'm not in the process of having a new website made by dpom and a google ads campaign will be started any day.

Sales up in just 3 weeks
Recently signed up to dpom and was told not to expect immediate results and it can take time. I get it varies between client and industry but they talk themselves down! 3 weeks in and my sales are up significantly, I couldn't be happier!

Thanks for this great review! We always do our best to give our customers realistic expectations from day one: Google Ads often does take several weeks or even months to start seeing significant improvements and even then, there are never any guarentees.
As they say, honesty is the best policy, so we pride ourselves on being open and transparent every step of the way so you can make a decision whether or not Google Ads is suitable for you. If it doesn't work out, as we don't have long term contracts, you can cancel easily by just giving us 31 days notice. We think that's quite a refreshing approach!
In your case, I am over the moon results have come much quicker - they often do, but things can be up and down, especially early on but we'll keep working hard to give you the best results possible!

Cheap but for a reason / Inflexible Contract Terms
Best to read the contract small print first before you sign your life away on DPOM
There are nasty clauses all over it especially with regards to payment which they refuse to even consider amending.
For example if you are 7 days late on a payment eg if you are on on holiday or ill , they automatically charge you for another 2 months and you are contracted to it.
So at £195 + vat you are looking at a £468 payment. I raised this with them but they refused to change this to a more reasonable timeframe beyond 7 days late or even remove the charging 2 more months for no reason. Seems very unreasonable which should make you wonder what other issues there might be if contract terms are this inflexible.
"a. 6.3.1 Should the Customer cancel their Direct Debit Mandate (or debit/credit card authorisation) without first providing an alternative payment source, an administration charge equal to 2 x monthly payments will be charged in addition to any outstanding amounts"
Its hard to trust companies that have contracts like this especially when any request to change them is met with comments like "We have terms in place to protect both you as a client and us as a business". This is definitely not protecting you as the client in any way and seems way beyond protecting them as a business!
Dont waste your valuable time!

We don't have any record of you as one of our customers so I'm not sure why you would leave a review of our service? The points in your review are also incorrect.
I do agree with your point however, that you should ALWAYS read the terms and conditions and we are so transparent, we provide them to every potential client that enquires about our services!
We pride ourselves on our transparency and we always provide our terms of business in advance of working with a client. This allows you, as a potential client to make a decision if you'd like to work with us under the terms we offer.
We only accept payment via direct debit or recurring card payment. This means if you were ill or on holiday the payment would still be made, so this situation would never arise. We do not charge for another 2 months if you are late on a payment so I am unsure as to why you would mention this. As a small business ourselves, we understand that sometimes payments can be made late and we work construtively with customers to resolve this - we certainly don't add punitive charges as you mention.
As any business does, we do however have to protect ourselves from those that may not have the best intentions .The only time we'd charge a fee equal to 2 monthly payments is if you sign up to our service, receive work from us and then breach your contract by cancelling a mandate to avoid paying us - not if you are late on a payment. Of course, any honest person would never do this but it serves to protect us in the event we fall victim to this.
As we transparently provide our terms in advance, we actively draw attention to them. We believe transparency with our terms is the the only way to be so thanks for drawing attention to a clause that we make publically viewable.
You mention it's hard to trust companies that won't amend their terms and conditions however, I think any reasonable person would agree that being open and honest about our terms before a customer signed up, is a fine example of being trustworthy and honest.
As I mentioned at the beginning of this reply, you are not and have never been a customer of DPOM.

First used Dpom just before the pandemic started and had great results but unfortunately things went down hill due to covid so had to stop for a while. The guys and girls at Dpom were my first call when I was read to start advertising my hotel again now the world is turning back to normal.
The next step is a new web site and thheynhave been really helpful advising me on what sort of site I need which is crucial given I’m getting on a bit and this is all beyond me. Thanks dave at the leaf hotel

Fired. £293.84 Per Lead!
We were forced to fire this company in three weeks due to incompetence. DPOM have gotten the worst results I have ever seen from a marketing agency.
Their Google Ad Result Was: Last 7 Days, £293.84 Per Lead! Before they were hired, it was £25 per lead.
When we called the account manager to let them know about the mistake and they didn't care. No guilt, no remorse for wasting loads of my money. THEY DID NOT CARE!

I'm sorry to hear about your negative experience with DPOM. However, I want to point out that three weeks is not enough time to accurately gauge the results of a Google Ads campaign. From the start, our quotation states that it can take several weeks or even months to see significant results from a marketing campaign.
As you know, the reason we recently changed approach was due to you requesting we look at ways to increase your conversions. To do this, we can only test new strategies and keywords to get data and then optimise to improve performance. There is no way to know the outcome of a test before we perform it.
When we first take over your campaigns, we have to test, measure and refine optimisations to uncover opportunities to improve your account performance. Regrettably, sometimes this can cause CPAs to increase and in that case, we then optimise to bring things back down. This is an inescapable feature of Google Ads - we have to test and measure and then react based on the data - there is never a guarantee that an optimisation will lead to increased performance, no matter how well informed it is.
I believe my colleague has reached out to you today to try and resolve your concerns and I'm confident, given you provide us with the time we say we need, your campaigns will improve as the vast majority of our clients find.
