Good Service from Order to Delivery
Good service from order to delivery. Mostly defrosted on arrival (not during a heatwave) which was challenging as the order was due to last 7 meals across 10 days. I can't say I was overwhelmed by the lasagne and shepherd’s pie. The chips looked amazing but were particularly disappointing as they were drowned in salt and inedible.

We're sorry to hear that your order arrived mostly defrosted, especially as it was intended to last several meals. While our packaging is designed to keep products frozen in transit, that's clearly not the experience you had, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention.
We're also disappointed to hear that the lasagne, shepherd's pie, and especially the chips didn't meet your expectations. The chips being overly salty is certainly not the standard we aim for, and your comments have been shared with our kitchen team so they can investigate.

The food that we ordered was delicious…
The food that we ordered was delicious from the sausages, to pies and desserts. The food was packaged exceptionally well and was frozen on delivery, in spite of the extremely hot weather. Such an amazing array of amazing quality food at a great price from a wonderful family farm. Delivery was quick and efficient. Would highly recommend.

This is NOT the original Pipers Farm.
Everything was fine except for the customer service which appears to have suffered since Edenmoor took over. They sent me a promotional money off email so I ordered. Unfortunately, I had not seen that I had to order at least £100 to get the discount. I emailed immediately to cancel. They ignored my cancellation request and delivered. I have discovered that he original Pipers Farm is trading at Pipers & Co

We're sorry to hear you were disappointed with your experience.
We did receive your email after your order had been placed, however, by that point it had already entered our fulfilment process and could no longer be cancelled. We responded as soon as we were able to explain this, but unfortunately it wasn't possible to stop the order before dispatch as it was being delivered the next day.
Our promotional offers, including any minimum spend requirements, are clearly stated within the email and the terms of the promotion.
We appreciate your comments regarding customer service and are continually working to provide the high standard of service our customers expect. Pipers Farm rebranded to Edenmoor in February this year and have continued to share the wonderful products that our customers have come to enjoy over the years.

Very disappointed with my first order…
Very disappointed with my first order which included 1kg of breakfast sausages for when the grandchildren stay during the holidays - 14 days time. They arrived, some fully defrosted, probably having been in a hot van most of the day. I collected them from the driver so they were not left outside in the heat at all. The ice packs were partially defrosted too. The advice from James on Customer Service was that the sausages should be eaten within 3 days and that they are working towards adding extra ice during this hot spell. I appreciate it is hot but there was no apology and I’ve ending up re freezing them against their advice. There are two of us and we don’t eat sausages and family are not local to pass them on to.

When you contacted us, you advised that the sausages had arrived defrosted. As we hadn't been provided with any photos or further information to confirm their condition, we responded with food safety guidance that fully defrosted sausages should be consumed within three days and asked for further details so we could investigate the issue.
Our team was awaiting your response before determining the appropriate resolution, as we were unable to assess the situation without additional evidence.
We appreciate your feedback regarding the recent hot weather and are continually reviewing our packaging, including the use of additional ice packs during periods of exceptionally high temperatures, to help maintain product temperatures in transit.

This is an excellent company and all the products I have received are well packaged and excellent quality.
I’m in Scotland and buy from them for my dogs too (offal) and I can tell the difference as can the dogs!!
They use local abattoirs that ensure the animals are fully stunned (non recoverable) that’s a priority for me

Excellent quality
Clear, easy to navigate website, good selection of cuts of meat and at reasonable prices. It was delivered efficiently and on time by DPD and was well packed. I’ve frozen most of what was delivered but have so far eaten the pork and apple sausages and the everyday steak. Both were superb and I’m really looking forward to trying the pork steaks, chicken and sausages. So impressed with the quality of the meat and will definitely be buying more.

Too expensive
Too expensive, not enough information about weight you are paying for.
I bought smoked, streaky bacon - tasted fine, but overpriced.
Topside of beef - haven’t had it yet, but VERY expensive.
Ox liver for our DOGS - super, super expensive! For the same price I get a carrier bagful from my local butcher, not 4 small pieces.
A small steak, which I haven’t tried yet, but VERY overpriced.
I would rather buy direct from the farm, but the pricing is way too high for ‘normal’ people to be able to afford. Such a shame.
RESPONSE TO YOUR RESPONSE:
I don’t expect you to compare to supermarkets, but your prices should be comparable to local butchers, or at least not the 200% mark up on your ox liver. Your prices should be reasonable if you expect to succeed.

At Edenmoor, we don't aim to compete with supermarket pricing or commodity meat. Every cut comes from animals raised to exceptionally high welfare standards, on regenerative farms. Those standards come with significantly higher production costs, but they're also the reason our customers choose us.
We appreciate your comments regarding product weights. Every product page clearly states the pack weight before purchase, and we continually review how we present this information to ensure it's as clear as possible.
We completely understand that our products won't suit every budget, and we respect that different customers place different value on provenance, welfare and farming practices. For those who prioritise these standards, we believe our pricing fairly reflects the quality of what they're buying.

Love the ethos/Love the product
I love the ethos, love the product. It has taken some time to find the cuts I wanted, the mutton I wanted, the raw cheese I wanted. But now I have found them and they are such delicious cuts of meat/cheeses, there is no going back for me. Delivery was great. Very very happy with Edenmoor.

Our first order under the Edenmoor…
Our first order under the Edenmoor banner. The order arrived on time and I immediately opened the box only to find that the chicken breasts were either partially or almost totally defrosted. I messaged Edenmoor as follows:
Order gratefully received thank you. Some of the children breast are partially defrosted and some are almost completely defrosted. Will they be okay/ safe to put into the freezer? Really disappointed to say that it was a week ago and no one responded.

I would prefer to wait awhile before commenting on quality. Certainly, your chicken is excellent but I want to wait until I've had steak. ( Only me & a cat these days so I don't require large amounts.) What I would like to say is that your packaging is superb - you couldn't do any better ! Everything arrived in excellent condition.

Excellent Meats.
Fast delivery, put meat straight into freezer. Lovely beef bone broth and pork/ parmasan cheese sausage rolls. Got a short rib and a free range chicken to try soon. Excellent quality will be ordering again from them.
