Disgusting customer service - STAY CLEAR
Awful company, I have never experienced such bad customer service. We recently had an extension done by Eden and although they said they do many, I cannot see how true this is, the whole 9 months was a awful experience and just a few points to highlight below.
- The sales team told us after paying 50% deposit, the work would start in 6 weeks at a max and would be completed in 6 weeks. A total of 3 months. This timeline was very far off and it took a total of 9 months.
- We were miss sold what could be achieved. It seems Eden don't know there own product or the legal requirements etc when building an extension.
- Sales team lie. This was something I was told by the installation manager. When I was trying to sort out the mess that Eden had made as the cost was completely off, the installation managers response was sales people will lie to you to get a sale. When I questioned him on this and I said surly your not telling me your sales team have lied to me he said, yes they would have just to get the sale.
- When building the extension they damaged many sections of the garden. Sections they shouldn't have even been close to. There response was this is what happens with building work.
- Installation managers attitude was awful and needs some lessons in customer service. Whilst I was in the office he came around and was extremely rude and bullish to my pregnant wife who left her in tears. The contract builder had to come into the house to check she was ok and admitted his attitude was out of order.
- Once the extension was completed the property was leaking all on live electric wires, that hadn't been fitted yet. I took pictures and videos to send and report the issue. Installation manager was far from helpful and his response was this is built correctly and it's meant to be like this. I really had to push for this to be correct and the extension to not leak. Since then it's leaked 3 times. Hopefully it's fixed now.
- Emails were rude from the installation manager. We have since shared just a few emails examples with family and friends who were looking for work and thankfully it's put them off going with Eden. One of the emails was ended with 'this doesn't warrant a response. This was off the back of me trying to get out warranty and he was not providing this.
- Measurements were completely wrong. The build was a foot and half in width less then it should have been. This was because Eden didn't know the legal requirements and the contractor had to inform them. Eden then said this was agreed on some document we have never seen, and had no signature against. When I asked to pause this to sort this out, there response was it will delay the build starting by 3 months and you will not be able to get your 50% deposit back which was almost £20k. Leaving us feeling a bit trapped on what to do.
- Installation manager and team left rubbish in the garden and cladding they had removed. When I asked for this to be taken, the response was that we had agreed to leave the rubbish and cladding in our garden as we wanted to expose of it. I asked where this had been said, as why would I want to clear the builders rubbish, and they couldn't find any communications. Be careful as I think they are lazy and bully people into doing stuff.
- Electrics was incorrect and what was on the contract and what the electrician was told to do were to different things.
- Even after all these mistakes I tried to sort out the issues with Eden just to get this fixed and extension completed. I called many times to discuss over the phone and informed them of the days I was at home and not in the office to discuss in person, but they didn't seem willing to help and instead seemed to want to hide and respond behind email.
- Are there any positives? All the builders were friendly but they were all contractors and non of them actually worked for Eden. Sales person who did make some big errors and admitted it (all on email) although caused issues. I actually feel he honestly cared and wanted us to have the best day experience. It's just a shame this wasn't carried through in any of the following stages.
Overall an awful experience. I have spoken to a few local trade people I have used for other stuff since and they have all said the same about them. They used to be good, but got too big and don't care about customers anymore.

Today had a new Front Door and side…
Today had a new Solidoor Front Door and side window installed. The quote was a fare price and clearly explained with agreements in place to protect both the customer and their company.
From beginning to end a simple process.
Clear estimate. The Fitters, Martin and David were very polite, gave me the options on different trims. Gave clear instructions on door locking mechanism. Tidied up well on completion.
Only comment. Why not give the guys working Company logo'd overalls/jacket or sweat tops. It would add that little bit extra in company appearance.

Highly Recommended
I’m really pleased with my whole experience with Eden Windows. They were prompt, reliable and very professional. Graham and the fitters Lee and Ryan were all friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They were clean and tidy too. There were some scratches on the glass which was no fault of theirs and they were very apologetic and replaced the glass as quickly as possible. I will definitely use them again and would thoroughly recommend them.

Sadly disappointing experience with…
Sadly disappointing experience with Eden. After a great sales pitch and then visiting their lovely showroom we paid a large deposit in Aug 23. We didn't hear anything for a while and then the surveyor completely messed up the planning application which was refused and then took over a couple of months to resolve. Liaising with the building team and building regs (which we did ourselves in the end) was confusing and difficult and felt like they did not wish to do the job. As nothing had still happened at beginning of Dec 23 we asked for our deposit back (less some fees). We waited for another month before chasing them again when it was finally returned late Jan.
We can't comment on the build quality as have now gone elsewhere,..........Check, check and check all details again before you hand over a deposit for a garden room.

New front door installed
Lee & Ryan removed our old front door and installed a new Solidor. Spent the time making sure everything was perfect and cleaned everything up. Its been a month since the install, no issues and would highly recommend.

Excellent from start to finish
Excellent from start to finish. Good communication, good workmanship, prep and clean up very thorough.
My only criticism is that we had to pay over 90% of the cost upfront before any work started. That is a lot on trust but it turned out to be absolutely fine.

A much lighter conservatory thanks
We previously had a conservatory with a solid roof that blocked a lot of sunlight and left the rest of the house feeling rather gloomy and dark.
Having looked round the showroom we were pleased to be able to select a new roof with large glass panels and the rest would be well insulated.
The fitters arrived punctually and were happy to adapt to our requests, and they coped extremely well with our two dogs.
At every stage stage of installation they kept their workspace as neat and tidy as possible and we are extremely grateful.

Absolutely disgusting customer service. We have had shutters that have been fitted which are not fit for purpose and not as described and Eden Windows want the customer to fund the cost of installation on the replacement.

Good team work and an excellent result
We have had all the windows in our house replaced by Scott and Mike. Due to the hot weather they found the back of the house was hot in the afternoon. They adjusted their plans accordingly to work on the cooler front of the house in the afternoon. We were informed beforehand which rooms they would work in next so that the window areas could be kept clear. The bathroom and kitchen windows fitted were early in the day so they were out of action for the minimum time.
The work went smoothly and Scott and Mike tidied up as they went along.
A quality job with good quality windows fitted.
