Misleading information at sign up and payment, very hard to get customer support, refuse to give refund. Mostly fake or inactive profiles. Take a lot of time to build up profile then ignore at matching, most probably not enough profiles, most of them non reply, no interaction

I have been an eharmony member for quite a while I can't help but believe that there's a lot of fakes. I have sent messages to a few ladies in my area without any response. I am not egotistical but on anither site I have had the opposite many ladies that are real have sent me messages and I have met a lovely lady there.

I had zero matches in my area in the age range I selected. The pool of people is larger on JLFlirt.com
there are no empty or fake profiles there and no membership fees. However, Eharmony was created for membership fees. Their goal is to sell you a long-term subscription. But the biggest problem is they automatically renew it, even if you unchecked this option. They don’t care and their customer support keeps telling you that your auto pay box was checked. In reality, their 14 day cooling off period is a myth . It just doesn’t work and there is no way to get your money back. It’s definitely a fraud.

Absolutely useless if your over 50…expensive

I am currently a member recently joined. I have interacted with some members so I believe these are genuine. My suspicions aroused when a new profile appeared on my page. Seemed ideal until no response to emails. I realized the member hadn't logged on for weeks so how did the picture pop up? You have to log on to attract attention or change your information.I think eharmony administrators post profiles of cancelled members. This makes genuine people fools for writing to a non existent person. I intend to cancel well within the subscription period, prepared for a fight even though it is made clear one has to cancel before the subscription auto renews, I'm certain they'll bill me

Horrible! I thought I joined for 1 months at half price as the company advertised on Facebook therefore see no harm trying out this dating site. When I realised that dating site did not suit me, I quickly emailed the company to say I would like to cancel my membership, but the company emailed me back to say I am locked in with them for 1 year! I only signed up for a half price for 1 month trial offer the company put out on Facebook without realising it was for a 12 months contract! I have to cancel my credit card where $40 was to be debited from my account monthly, to my inconvenience ! I was just NOT prepared to pay for a service I was not happy! The company should not locked their customers in on a 12 month contract. They told me they were happy to stop my subscription but monthly payments would still be taken out from my account! SCAM SCAM SCAM! Be aware!

I agree with the others. This site should be closed down for its unethical standards. Appallingly bad.

Auto renew hell.
Not only is this app absolute rubbish anyway but their auto renew is a scam. I barely used the service and expected a notification at some point to say that my auto renew was due but no. Not a thing. When I contacted them to ask for the refund I was told that I received an email 6 months ago with the renewal date on it…
They took over £200 out of my bank account and I’m not exactly well off so this has really impacted me.

Absolute rort, unethical practices and a scam
I am blind and signed up fo their program
I didnt see they fine print which they throw in your face and they ended up trying to charge me four times what I expected
Steer clear because you may or may not find true love but you will 100% be ripped off
They have been reported to ACCC for unethical practices

This has to be one of the worst dating websites I have ever encountered. I honestly thought that hearing this name so many times in culture, that it would be good. I could not be further from the truth. They hold on to your profile and don't offer you an option to delete the account and be done with them. Only can hide. Still getting spam and notifications. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS

Unfortunately I HAVE to choose a star rating to write a review.
My option would be negative star x 10.
If you pay for premium, you are locked into a reoccurring annual payment that you did not agree to.
At a price they choose to charge.
With no advice that the new annual period is about to start again or a warning that if you want to cancel, do so now.
Just dumb consistently useless 'X wants to meet you' emails but no advice on reminder or cancellations options, or next deduction amounts.
They don't respond to email enquiries within the stated 24 hours, in fact I'm yet to have them respond at all.
I've lodged a complaint with the ACCC, suggest you do the same if you have joined and are experiencing this more than negative experience.
Voted 9.9 in Australia?
How so with 43% of feedback to their website being negative, positive at less than 35%.

Fraudulent! Scammers. I'm getting threatened to pay for what im not using since January (used few weeks, then cancelling almost impossible, after what my account was restricted, but charged for months).

I set up a profile on e-harmony. When I chose to delete my profile the app wouldn't let me. I wrote to customer service and they locked me out of my account, promising to delete my profile for me. That was the last I heard. Huge breach of my privacy and trust.

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS DATING SITE,

They are little more than a bunch of crooks only intent on taking your money.
They offer fake profiles, make it extremely difficult to cancel anything, then constantly harass you to make payments for services they have a cheek to say they provide. AVOID… I wish I had read reviews before being drawn in.

Someone was called in court for not paying them..?
I received the second mail today with 14 days notification to pay 292,00 GBP.
What would happen if I don't pay them?

You can't do anything unless you pay the quarterly subscription. Then when you ask them to not take any more payments and cancel the subscription, they won't but they do BLOCK you from using the site even though you are paid up for 3 months. They are rude and honestly the site is useless.

Disgraceful Customer Care.
Actually NO customer care.
My account stopped being able to send messages, receive messages or see visitors or log as a visitor on someone's profile.
So basically useless for 19 days now.
Sent 8 emails and had 2 chat sessions. Still not fixed and zero, zero contact from eharmony.

It is absolutely overloaded with fake profiles. When it takes a week or so to find a woman to meet for real on sites like LoveAFF.com
it would take years of filtering off dodgy users and entirely fake profiles on Eharmony. It doesn't matter how much money you pay and what kind of membership you have. Eharmony is corrupt from start to finish. It is based on automatic renewal system. This is how they squeeze out revenues from members (they don't do it by bringing real people together).

Poor app. Poor website. Poor customer support. Fraudulent and misleading subscription practises.
They are currently being sued by the ACCC for the above. And as such, you will not be able to delete your account WHEN you realise how terrible this company is.
