I bought a Volt Metro about Four years ago in good faith from reviews.
I have now about 2000 kms.on the meter. Two separate bearings have gone on the plate under the rear gear block. The frame sheared at the folding part, no sticky notice attached. The rear hub goes Clacka,Clacka, Clacka continuously like when we were kids with a bit cardboard in the spokes clicking on the frame.
I reported this to Leith Cycles last July, they took the wheel of and sent it to Volt London for repair. It sat in their workshop for nearly four weeks and sent it back.
Leith Cycles charged me £80.00 for the experience. Needless to say the Clacka,,,,,,,,,,,,,has returned and shows that Volt in their wisdom did absolutely nothing to repair my wheel.
Today came the icing on the cake, while on a cycle run with a friend the RH folding pedal broke off leaving me in a situation miles from home.
We have laughed in the past about a Friday item that's gone through the manufacturing process because the workers wanted to get home early.
WELL THIS IS A FRIDAY BIKE and IS A BLOODY DISGRACE as the bike is really out of warranty no wants to look at it, and I am left with an in effect a USELESS BIKE.
OK, I can still cycle the thing, the electrics still work, I replaced the pedal with an old normal pedal. But when the wheel finally gives up the ghost, I will replace the wheel with an ordinary wheel providing I can get a hub for eight speeds.
I owned a previous bike for 19 years and my son in law now rides it for a full 4years, without my present problems.
It was all to be wonderful in my later years, I am 79, I can well do without these headaches.

Quite expensive but you do get everything.
Quality piece of kit.

I think a more detailed instruction manual might help but easy to get the hang of things.

Quite simply - my new Volt Pulse bike is awesome! It arrived fully assembled within a few days of ordering and I've been riding around with a smile on my face ever since. The gruesome sweaty commute to the office is now a pleasure - hills and strong head winds were the bane of my journey - now the Pulse simply glides through without any problem. Needless to say I'm one happy customer and would recommend this excellent piece of tech without hesitation.

Great looking bike, bought as a present for my wife she thinks it looks great. Delivery a little slow due to bad weather conditions but picked up at local bike shop all built up and ready to go.

Early days with a Pulse and a Kensington, but the signs are good! Looking forward to our new cycling experience and plan to take away with our caravan so we can explore far and wide. Love my Volt Metro.I have a knee injury so this bike helps me to get out and keep fit no matter what the weather or how steep the hills are. Very well made and good value. Thank you to Volt cycles and to Banchory cycles.

This is my second Volt ebike and I’m just as in love as I was with my first! I get so many compliments on my Kensington and it rides perfectly. I love that I can pick between speed settings for assistance or turn it off if I want to ride normally for a good workout. Most importantly it gets me up Blackheath Hill everyday without sweating!! Love it love it love it

Purchased a VOLT Pulse from these guys 6 months ago. The bike is genuinely great and I've already done over 1200 miles (which is much further than I'd do in 2 years on my old push bike!).

I live in a really hilly area and this bike has enabled me to back into riding properly.

Only problem I've had is that I lost the key to my ABUS frame lock and after a quick phone call to the guys, they ordered me some more to be sent out to my home address.
