Went out of business no surprise. Bike quality was pretty good. Customer service and fulfillment were horrible. No wonder they went under.

I purchased 3 bikes from you in the last 2 years. Love them, but have had some issues with some of the parts. !. Replaced the throttle on one bike when it broke.2. replaced the accelerator 3 Times on the same bike because the accelerator throttle broke 3,Replaced the seat on the same bike when the spring broke. I absorbed the cost on all the replacement parts. I have kept all 3 bikes in excellent condition and I think this a little excessive for bikes that are only 2 years old

I love that you can customize your bike and make it original for you. This bike is very well built and so far my experience with it has been great. Shipping to home was excellent and 90% assembled upon arrival. If I was to offer a small criticism, the front head light isn't very bright and could be improved.

So glad we made the purchase!
After double knee replacements, I thought my bike riding days were behind me, because my knees couldn’t take pedaling up hills. Now, with just a little assist up hills, I’m able to enjoy riding once again pain free.

Seriously poor customer service
Seriously poor customer service! I got a staple in my tire and took it to them to get fixed and when I rode it next I got another flat. I took it back in and they tried to charge me full labor and parts to repair when they never took out the nail in the first place!!! Several issues with the company but we do like our bikes.

We love love love our EBC bikes!!!
To start with- we love love love our bikes! I purchased a model Y and my husband a model X (with the battery in the basket.) He is 6’ 4” and was worried about the frame fitting his height. He did have to buy a longer seat post to get the leg extension he needed. The longer seat post did the trick, but we wish more bike companies would have a larger frame for tall and heavy folks. We ordered our bikes in basic red and black colors to expedite the process and keep our costs lower. However the model Y was held up for twice as long as the typical build time. Shipping was a disappointment, because the EBC website specifically assured there would be a notice of shipping and an actual delivery time window at your home. Instead I came home from lunch one afternoon to a huge container sitting in the rain. Unfortunately it was smooshed on one side. My husband came home early from work to get them out of the rain. The smooshed packaging did damage one of the bikes’ controller/computer, chain guard and basket. We contacted the company and were sent a new controller, chain guard and touch up paint within a couple of weeks. (It was two weeks of hard sweaty pedaling for me; as I was too excited to ride my old bike next to my husband’s handsome new EBC. Ha ha ha!) The bikes themselves are a dream to ride. We like the position of the thumb throttle. The fit and finish of the bikes are gorgeous. I ordered the EBC suspension seat post for the model Y. Definitely worth the extra $99. The suspension really makes the ride smooth. The five levels of pedaling and the throttle are great for getting the individual level of workout or leisurely ride you want on any excursion. We ride shorter nightly stints around home and longer day trips on weekends. The bikes have performed very well on both hard surface and gravel trails. I just wish we didn’t live in WIsconsin where we can’t ride during winter months. This purchase was a big investment for us, so we were also glad to support an American company who uses mostly American made components. Lastly, I love that no one in our community has these bikes. They generate a lots of interest, compliments and questions. So glad we bought these!!!!!

Awesome company. Great shipping for super quality bikes. I am 6'2" and the bikes are very comfortable. The charging is great, they are very well built, and they look awesome. Every time we ride, at least one person comments on our great bikes.

These bikes are life changing
These bikes are life changing . I bought 2 model S bikes and have just under 10k miles on them and all I have had to repair replace are the tires and brakes . This is one of the best investments I have ever made. Looking to get two more model R next.

Not well designed for real life
The bike is not as well designed as promoted. It is very heavy (70lbs), and although I am strong as a woman I regularly fall over on the bike while starting on any kind of incline because you cannot pedal, and although I have gotten used to engaging power at 1 or 2 to start it is awkward and scary. Also, the wheel base is so long that turning corner or around is extremely difficult, and again I have fallen over. Do not buy this bike unless you are strong and expect to only go on long straight lines. Also, I received a dead battery, which took a while to replace. I would not recommend this bike and wish I hadn't bought it.
