Really wouldn’t recommend this company directly or via B&Q.
- for my initial order, I never received a delivery date, when I rang about this the customer service was shocking, the call handler was rude and I ended up cancelling the order.
- I reordered as couldn’t find an alternative and the person who delivered was also rude. Started throwing the items off is truck when I asked him to stop so I could move my car to prevent it from getting damaged he huffed and was clearly more bothered about quickly getting to the next person than actual any form of quality service.
- when I started building the shed I realised lots of the parts weren’t cut square or were warped, beams are on the wrong place for screws for the door and the felt and the door were both damaged.
- have taken photos and will contact the company for a replacement door as I’m concerned it will impact on the security of the shed but I’d suggest looking for an alternative supplier as the product is poor and the customer service doesn’t support the customer if issues do arise.

Ordered a 10 x 3 x 6 Pent roof shed.
Unpacked it all and inspected the panels.
Where do you start.
Nails completely missed the batons.
Support batons not square.
Split shiplap.
Edges broken on flooring.
Instructions ? Completely useless.
Cheap roof felt. Definitely need to upgrade.
Clout nails for felt too short.
32mm nails if used on some timbers would split. Needs pilot hole or smaller nails.
Edges where shiplap has been sawn all ragged. They need to sharpen their saw. Wouldn't hurt for someone to run a bit of sandpaper down the edges.
No handle for door.
All in all this is a cheap product.
Not well constructed.
Will certainly not use again.
Worth noting the number of bad reviews for this company. Tells you something.

Bought a Modular single door 6x8 Pent Potting Shed. Arrived well palleted.
The roof nails had been hammered through missing but the beams they were supposed to be bedded into, and the Fixings were missing.
No replies via their website or email so had to spend £40 extra in local ironmongers.

Recently purchased a 6×3 empire 2200 Pent shed. I had to phone to find out when it was going to be delivered after 10 day's as l had not heard anything from them. Delivered to front of property could not get away quick enough. When we came to erect shed what a joke. Floor of shed was to small, bearers for floor cut to small. Roof timbers had been put on flat instead of on edge so would not fit there again to small so had to go out & purchase new osb sheets & timbers to make floor & roof so l could assemble. Had to put extra supports in as so flimsy. The quality is nothing like it says on the website. I wish that l had paid an extra £150.00 from another company cos this is about what it cost me to put it right. The roofing felt they supplied was the best thing about the shed. We also want another bigger shed, needles to say l will be going elsewhere. Give them the biggest leaving alone you could ever do so. Have given this a one star rating because there is no facilities to give it a - 5. Absolutely terrible. Even there treatment of timbers is shocking, maybe 5years not 15.

Having given up after 3 months of promises from BillyOh, ordered from Empire, and delivered in 7 Days!
Can't fault both the company, or the product. Excellent in every way.

The deliver went well arrived on time .But as soon as I saw the timber batons on the panels I realized what a cheap construction I was paying for , The size said 6 x 8 but thats not what you get 2" less all round . might not seem a lot ,but why call it 6 x 8 . not very clear assembly instructions . you have to do the floor joists yourself . Rang them for advice no answer . Left message on answer machine 6 days later and I'm still waiting . Avoid this company like the plague .

A 5* service from the guys at Empire!
I ordered a 5x10ft pent treated shed online through their website, then phoned their customer service number to arrange the day of delivery.
All went smoothly. They arranged between 12 noon and 2pm, at 12.05pm the driver was here. Zee the delivery guy was A* very polite, nothing to much trouble! The quality of the wood is very high, the only exception is the roof could be thicker!
After preparing the base two days before, the shed was erected within a few hours. I painted the sides beforehand, so that all the areas unreachable were treated.
So, I now have the internal to line with insulation and paint.
Overall, excellent service, good quality shed. After reading the reviews it became apparent that it's best to go to Empires website or phone direct. Using B&Q adds to a 3rd party complication in my opinion. Plus I found it cheaper direct. They deliver all over the country too. So, communication is key! Ring and talk to them if you have an issue, speak with respect and you often find that you receive this back. It's infuriating reading negative reviews when they could be avoided by discussing and resolving issues, instead of waiting to hear and writing reviews.
So, deal direct and communicate!

Recently purchased a second shed directly from Empire as was happy with the quality of the first one which is still in good condition a couple of years on.

Unfortunately one panel was incorrect for our shed, after making a quick phone call it was sorted within days. A new correct panel was delivered that week and we were able to put the shed up the following weekend. Very happy with the after sales service and quality of the shed

Absolutely disgusting customer service. Arrogant , nasty, abrupt people. Would give zero starts if I could. Plenty of people selling sheds no need to use such unprofessional people. wished I lived closer because id be going in!!!!

The delivery driver dumped the shed pallet and all across the gate preventing access. He would not bring it onto the property. As a wheelchair user I was supposed to magically lift it over a six foot fence.
The Customer Service department said if they had known (that their delivery service was rubbish?) they would have sent it as individual pieces. How were we to know their service was so unhelpful? Chicken and egg.
A friend took the panels off in our passageway but with still have a pallet with a tall wooden support structure to dispose of.
I would not recommend them to anyone. Buy the wood and make it yourself!

Great customer service - purchased the shed on line, was given a delivery date, day before driver rang to confirm address, arrived exactly when he said he would (6.15 am) cheerfully unloaded the shed. Shed went up easily.

If 0 stars were an option, we would’ve gone with that. The shed arrived with no warning, no dispatched email, nothing. So no one was in to collect. The shed that arrived wasn’t the correct dimensions. Pieces were missing and the instruction and awful. You try to phone the help line however, ‘their mailbox is full’.
I am not sure where we go from here…..

Ordered a Potting shed through B&Q but did not notice that it may not have opening windows, which was a requirement.
I rang customer services who confirmed it had no opening windows. I therefore requested that my order be cancelled.
No quibble from the gentleman I was speaking to, email received within minutes confirming cancelation. Great service, yes it was as it was suppose to be but still worth praise and letting people know how this company deal with customers.

Ordered a shed from here through B&Q. Got our delivery day booked so dismantled our old shed and booked the joiner for it coming . On the day of delivery the courier arrived and was struggling to lift the shed with the pallet truck. Resulting in the shed getting smashed. He noticed it was broken and asked “do you not want it” . We told him obviously not and declined it . He abruptly packed up the truck and left. We waited all day for empire to call us about it but no one did and it was about 4 days later I got a reply . This has left us with out of pocket expenses to compensate the joiner and our garden equipment left out side in rainy weather. We did receive a refund after about a week . The courier didnt really seem to care that we had been left in this situation. I wouldn’t recommend due to the carelessness and attitude of the courier they use.

Purchased 7x6 shed from BandQ (Empire Sheds). I had done a lot of research before purchasing this shed. It was delivered on time and was updated throughout. The quality despite the price is on par if not better with the more expensive ones I had seen online. It went together easily with two people and only took 2/3 hours. Everything was supplied. Honestly, from my point of view given the price and quality you are not going to beat it.

Great quick delivery from a very happy company driver.
(sadly had to order via amazon as their home order page was poor and didn't accept credit cards?)
Shed uses better quality wood, and was reasonably easy to assemble with two people.
All parts supplied.
(-1 as the instructions are poor- noting some of the other comments it is VERY easy to confuse the roof with the base!)

Informed that my shed would arrive between Tuesday to Friday. Called customer service on the Thursday to request an actual day. He got right on it and called me back within 30mins to tell me the courier would be with me Friday morning and if I didn’t have it by noon, to call him back. Customer service was fabulous.

Shed is ok but it’s not 9ft long as described online and the base my husband built for it is now too big. So we’ve now got to change it all. If you are going to advertise a 9ft shed then make sure your measurements are correct. Or stipulate in the description that it’s an approx figure.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would.
Ordered five fence panels via B&Q Marketplace; 2 week's later and still have not arrived.
Ordered 1st April24.
Promised to deliver Wednesday 10th April after complaining - Nothing
Promised to deliver by 14th April - Nothing
Their customer service is none existent.

Certainty won’t be using them in the future.

I ordered an 8x10 Apex shed from Empire Sheds, placed the order at 12.30pm Monday and the shed was delivered 8.30am Friday....they said they would do their best to get it to me ASAP as I had taken a week off work for the Easter break, 4 days from ordering to delivery is superb service. Delivery driver was very helpful. The shed has now been built and went together very easy, the quality of the shed is better than I expected and I am VERY happy with it. In all honesty I have nothing but praise for Empire Sheds and cannot fault anything about my purchase. If I ever need another shed I will not hesitate to purchase from Empire Sheds again. Put simply....SUPERB SERVICE.
