I called technical support as the…
I called technical support as the portal flagged that I needed to call them. They didn't know why as there was no error message but raised a case as my login failed. The case was opened and then closed by the team within an hour and sent me a message to call them again. Seriously that's a great way to make metrics and annoy customers and I still cant access the website!

It may be helpful to make you aware that Equifax does not charge you for access to your statutory credit report information, this is completely free of charge and you can access it online within minutes, or have it delivered to you in the post. We do offer some subscription products, but even these are available with a free 30 day trial period, so that you may use the time to decide whether you feel the features represent value for money.

Incorrect Out Of Date Information
My bankers use the above company and it says I am not registered to vote… I have been registered to vote since the 1st December 2017. A disgraceful company. The companies my credit cards use all have me down to vote from December 2017 which is correct. As a result of Equifax incorrect information companies can’t identify me…
You can’t contact the company to correct it without opening an account. They are an absolute disgrace.

Not Impressed
It is difficult to sign into your account as the password is not recognised, even though it is saved to the computer and is correct. They duplicate sending emails to you, wasting time, and to top it all off, they do not read the information you supply to them, wasting even more time.

Too slow to update. They never increase your score then one soft search and you lose 50 points. Too biased against you.

Although it’s important to remember that the credit score we provide to you through myEquifax is just for you and cannot be seen by any lenders you may apply for credit with, we do have some general guidelines for you to follow if you want to improve or maintain a good credit score:
• Register on the electoral roll at your current address
• Establish and maintain a positive credit history over a period of time across a variety of credit accounts
• Make your repayments on time. You can avoid missed payments by setting up direct debits
• Ensure that any open credit agreements are listed at your correct current address
• Keep your credit utilisation low and avoid taking out cash on your credit cards
• Avoid having multiple credit searches in a short period of time

Pointless service, Late, out of date therefore inaccurate information/misinformation. Clearly not one of the trusted financial organisation's that have access to credit and financial information that's never more than 24hrs updated.
