I have bought cars from many dealers in the past, ESP have been one of the best i have used,
Inquired about a BMW they had, Dan S called me back, gave me all the info i needed, this was a very long distance sale, Dan welcomed the RAC inspection i suggested, He game me a fair price on my trade in via videos and pics, and stuck to price when he saw car in person, he offered me lots of add ons without being pushy.
I was treated well when i arrived after a long drive, i was approached and delt with in a pleasant and friendly professional manner,
Collected car and drove 7 hrs, had the car a week now, no issues so far
Great selection of cars on show.

Really disappointing experience with this dealer. In my opinion, they are typical second-hand car knock-down merchants.

They agreed a price for the car and then, when it came to actually collecting it, suddenly there was a long list of supposed problems. I was told the paint had been redone, the seats were too worn, various things would need redoing, and ultimately they wanted to knock another £1,600 off the agreed price.

My biggest mistake was telling the guy I was going away. Looking back, I believe he realised I wanted the car gone before I left and knew he had me in a weaker position. I reluctantly accepted the additional £1,600 reduction there and then.

The best part? I checked their website the very next day and the car was already advertised for sale.
So apparently the paintwork and seats needed all this work badly enough to justify taking another £1,600 off me, yet somehow the car was ready to be advertised for sale within 24 hours.

I'll let people draw their own conclusions from that.
The whole experience left me feeling that the agreed price was simply used to secure the car, with every possible excuse then found at collection to drive the price down.

I certainly wouldn't sell a car to them again. If you're dealing with them, do not reveal that you're in a hurry to sell and be prepared to walk away the moment they start trying to renegotiate the agreed price.

My husband and I was looking for a Mercedes Eqc premium plus. We started our journey visiting V12 & Cartime I wish we hadn’t bothered - I left both places cringing at their transparent old school sales tactics that belong back in the 80’s.

From doing them visits I decided to properly vet any companies I would visit going forward. We came across ESP via auto trader as it appeared to have a car that suited our requirements. I did a lot of research and felt confident that ESP would be an excellent choice.

We drove 80 miles however I’m glad that we did ! The cars on view were stunning! We were greatly by a nice friendly Dan who introduced us to his colleague Sam who helped us from there.

Sam showed us to the car we were inreresred in and left us to it which I liked. We then did a test drive and decided this is the car we wanted. We discussed using my car as part Ex and Sam did a very thorough appraisal of my car which www great ask it shows the company actually care about future customers and what they are selling on. The part exchange price was fair & I felt reflected the high specification of it so we agreed on a deal.

As part of the package as the previous Mot was 6 months ago ESP were having it serviced and putting through brand new mot which was great. On reflecting we phoned ESP and requested that they speak to the garage to see if they can actually report in future details such as tyre tread/ breaks/ disks - we thought if all mot passable but near to needing replacing we would have asked and paid to get these done - but luckily all looked new! ESP arranged for the garage to film all aspects with narrative and sent this video to us which was great and put our mind at ease - now that is called going the extra mile!

Due to other commitments we were not avalible to collect my new car for a few weeks - I think normal handover day is a Saturday which I couldn’t do as I had a hair appointment! So Sam kindly agreed to meet us on the Sunday to sort.

My new car on hand over day was very presentable intact it looked brand new! I was very impressed.

On handover day, Sam did another inspection of the car I was trading in and I thought that was great as it shows that they actually care about the level of cars they sell on to future customers.

All paperwork was completed efficiently by Sam and he even did my new car tax for me, thanks Sam!

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company - summary of why future customers should too!

We recently purchased an Audi S5 from esp cars. We had the pleasure of meeting Dan, who has been fantastic from start to finish.

The sale went very smoothly, and the communication during the week before collecting the car was very reassuring. When we came to collect the car and sort paper work, there was no pushy sales or pressure to buy “add ons”. We previously had bad experience from another car company a few years ago, so was very sceptical about going to another car dealership. But we have been very impressed with the service so far, and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them to friends and family

Used Ep cars five years great service use them and see

I made a previous review about how it took months to get my logbook. Despite various emails and phone calls and visits to the Newport Pagnell branch. I had to contact DVLA myself to find out how to get a new logbook.
That spoilt the experience of getting the car,which was seamless. Anyway, I have to add to that review and say that I love the car I bought. The car runs beautifully, and for the price I bought is a bargain. I did not want my review to end on a sad note,as I am happy with the car.

I have purchased cars from ESP for probably the last 20 years on and off and never gone anywhere else. The dealership has always been very accommodating with me and all my cars have gone back to them for servicing and MOT, hence my trust in them. More recently, I dealt directly with both Matt and Danny, but Danny in the main - he was beyond helpful, attentive and kind. It was quite hard to return my last vehicle bought from this dealership to them as it has been a fabulous car from point of sale to its life with me and then returned back to ESP for servicing and MOT's. This beautiful car will now be up for sale with ESP and has been treasured. The new vehicle purchased yesterday will also go to ESP for servicing, etc. Thank you again and hope to purchase another car from you in a few months.

Thanks for your review reply. I was told different regarding the car. It has been used as a pool car. I have also checked myself regarding the car history and there is a discrepancy with the mot. 6 months out of date ?? But still the video is 3 years old and doesn’t give you a true reflection in the cars condition.

Outstanding service from start to finish. After finding the car on AutoTrader, I placed a reservation and received a call the next morning from Steve, a member of the team. He was friendly, professional, and provided honest answers to all my questions—no pressure whatsoever.

We arranged a viewing time, and upon arrival, I was greeted at the door and made to feel very welcome. The viewing experience was exactly what I had hoped for. I was given the space to inspect the car at my own pace, with Steve on hand to answer any queries. All the vehicle documentation was clearly laid out for me to review, again with absolutely no sales pressure or pushy tactics.

Needless to say, I decided to purchase the car. A collection date was agreed upon, and Steve kept me updated throughout the entire PDI process, even calling the day before collection to confirm that everything was ready.

Although ESP is about an hour and a half away from me, I wouldn’t hesitate to return. In fact, given the honesty and professionalism I experienced, I’d have full confidence buying my next car from them unseen.

A big shout out for Steve and Matt who are a great credit to the company. Car buying can often be challenging and rarely enjoyable but I have to say Steve and Matt made sure the whole experience went without a hitch and there was absolutely no high pressure selling involved. Would I recommend ESP Cars to friends and family .........most certainly.

Couldn't be happier with the service I have received from ESP cars. We recently purchased a car from them and it was hands down the best service I have received from a garage. Dan and the team gave us all the information we needed without a pushy sales pitch and helped us to resolve a couple of minor things in the car that needed fixing. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I was amazed to find that of the model I was interested in they had 10 possible choices in 5 colours!
Way more choice than at my local main dealer.
As well as the range and superb viewing and preparation services everything is handled professionally and with a smile.

ESP is my go to for new cars! They always have a wide variety of cars available, and have really great service. We recently bought a Tiguan from Matt at ESP and had a great experience from start to finish. Thanks Matt, you were amazing and made everything super simple!

First time buying a used car, was very nervous but had no need to be. Over the moon with the car.

Bought my BMW M3 from ESP, no issues whatsoever, salesman was very knowledgeable and all questions answered, had a couple of requests for work to be carried out and it was all done. Very happy.

Back for my second car, 3 years on! From initial contact to point of collection everything was spot on, car prepped to the very highest standard, couldn’t be happier. Highly recommended.

Can’t fault the team as ESP, after having a bad experience with another showroom the guys at ESP looked after me, pointed me in the right direction and made sure I left happy in my choice of vehicles.

Will be back there for my next car!

My initial contact with ESP was positive, although on my first visit I was surprised how little the salesman knew about the spec and features of the vehicle he was selling me but he mentioned they sell hundreds of cars a month so I thought perhaps that was why.
I returned a week later to collect the vehicle (150m from home) and this was also pretty seamless, luckily there is a petrol station across the road as I’m not sure I’d have made it much further with the amount in the tank when I left. They proudly gave me an invoice for the work done ahead of picking it up, and on closer inspection it was surprising and disappointing to see they had replaced 2 premium tyres on a 4wd 310bhp car with £66 budget ones, I wasn’t expecting like for like, but I did expect at least a mid range tyre or the opportunity to pay a little extra for a better tyre.
What happened next was 4 weeks of stress, wasted time and frustration, so here’s the main points and short version.
On the way home a warning light came up on the dashboard, the manual said to visit a workshop, I mentioned this and was told “ they all do it until you start driving it … it then re calibrates” which was not true. Two further more serious warning lights came on within a week and they agreed for some diagnostics from Audi. The car needed £2000 worth of work and despite me being told it had a full Audi SH, I was told that some things had not been completed. ESP wouldn’t pay for Audi to do the work and wanted me to take the car back to them, I suggested just giving the car back for a refund and was told that I had to let them try and fix it, I now know that was a lie and legally I did not need to, but I did give them the chance. The car came back to me with the 2 more serious faults repaired but nothing done to try and solve the original issue which was still coming up with a warning. In addition the car was damaged, I initially found some damage to paintwork and was told they hadn’t done it, but it could not have happened anywhere else, I watched 2hours of the dashcam footage from when it was with them and heard the technician talking how he didn’t like doing the job, his negative thoughts about the vehicle and about damage, I then found they had also damaged the leather on the door handle and badly repaired it with glue and a large gouge in the speaker cover. The footage also showed them talking about repairing it and not telling me so I don’t cause a fuss.
At this point I sought legal advice and was told the best option was to reject the car, which I did.
I returned the car and didn’t imagine it would be a pleasant experience but the person I dealt with was rude and clearly trying to intimidate me, I was asked to sign a badly written letter that said they were doing this as a goodwill gesture but I could only get my refund if I didn’t talk about it or my experience online. I said I was not happy about this as people have a right to read honest reviews and I had not been made aware of any conditions to the offer, but he told me I had no choice, I’m pretty sure the letter would not stand up in court so I signed it and noted I did not agree to the condition.
On the journey home I joked that they probably already had it back up for sale, they had, it’s currently on Autotrader now, a yellow 2021 Audi S3.
They make big claims and yes they have a big showroom but interestingly in all 3 of my visits I never saw another customer.
I would not recommend them or their servicing department, I would have left a zero star review but unfortunately that isn’t an option. After having talked about my experience we have been approached by plenty of others with similar negative experiences, ESP proudly told me they have lots of good reviews online, but I’m guessing that is because they try to bully and silence anyone who might have good reason to leave a bad one.
