I booked to see an electric car that…
I booked to see an electric car that was absolutely not up to standard. Every single body panel had scratches on it. When I pointed this out, the manager offered to "improve" it with a polish. I agreed to go ahead while discussing things with the team, but the moment they realised I was a cash buyer and not interested in their finance options, they completely lost interest and started dragging their feet.
My first concern was about the battery State of Health report – how could we trust it when there were no car identification details? It just said "BMW iX3" with no VIN or registration number. The salesman insisted that because the mileage matched, it must be the same car. That's just not good enough. I've since checked, and surprisingly, none of the SOH reports from this dealer seem to have any car details on them – which is very suspicious.
They promised me they offer the lowest prices and match any on Auto Trader. When I showed them a car that was £1,500 less, a newer model with the facelift, one year younger, and only 2,000 more miles, they acted very strangely and didn't know how to respond.
When I test drove the car, the service overdue light was on. They said it was just a "software update issue." Then the manager told me to take the car as it was – they couldn't even service it. No warranty comes with the car unless you pay extra, not even for a month. But they were very keen to sell me their other products.
I drove two hours to this flashy showroom with two young kids, having booked online and paid a £99 deposit. The car wasn't even ready – it hadn't been washed. We waited 45 minutes, went through their compliance checks, and at the end of it all, it was for a scratched-up, unserviced, overpriced car.
One positive – the receptionist was lovely and offered us two hot drinks. Other than that, I completely wasted a day visiting such a dodgy place.
Experience here at v12 and Jag
My sales person was Jag, he was amazing, provided excellent service, was not expecting to get the car today but he made it happen. Said he’s been here for 2 months but the way he was dealing with me sounded like he was working here for years. He’s a great addition to the team here, knows what he’s talking about and very open and transparent with everything. Keep up the good work Jag, hope to see you again!

Immediate safety-critical braking fault after collection from Wolverhampton branch – vehicle formally rejected under Consumer Rights Act
I purchased a Nissan Leaf (registration DV71 UXB) from V12 Sports and Classics Wolverhampton branch on 13 March 2026 for £8,374. I collected the vehicle on 20 March 2026.
On 13 March, during the test drive, I noticed issues with the brake system and raised my concerns with the sales advisor, Jessica. She assured me the AA inspection report was a full PASS and there should be no problems. I insisted on the brake concerns, so V12 agreed to replace the brake pads and discs free of charge before handover.
However, after collecting the car on 20 March and driving for about 15 minutes, the brakes produced white smoke, a loud grinding noise, and the vehicle became undriveable. I contacted V12, and the staff member who answered advised me to call AA Recovery to tow it home to Coalville. I asked to return the vehicle to the branch immediately, but this was declined. With no other option, I arranged the AA tow at my own expense.
The latest independent check (yesterday) confirmed additional issues: binding noise when rotating the rear wheel and an inoperative handbrake – all safety-critical problems related to the braking system. The car is now completely unusable.
I bought this vehicle for commuting to work, but the faults mean I now have to use more expensive alternative transport, causing extra costs and inconvenience.
Despite the AA report being marked PASS and assurances from the sales team, the vehicle was unsafe almost immediately after handover. I have formally rejected the vehicle under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 short-term right to reject via email to aftersales on 21 March 2026. I am requesting:
- Full refund of the purchase price £8,374
- Dealer to arrange collection of the vehicle at their expense (as it is unsafe to drive)
- Reimbursement of related costs, including AA towing/recovery, independent diagnostic check, travel costs to collect the vehicle, road tax (£195 paid), wasted insurance premium (pro-rata unused portion), and compensation for time/loss of use
I am disappointed with the post-sale handling at the Wolverhampton branch, especially given the immediate faults after the free brake work and positive AA report. Awaiting the dealer's response before providing a full review of the company.

Apart from being lied to, spending 5 hours driving to Leicester for a car that they didn't have.... And they promised was ready to drive home, when I rang them before I even left home!
Then Joel decided to be rude, snappy and very offensive, he then totally disrespected me after I asked questions about the car!
They tried to find out when the car left the showroom, what was wrong with the car and when the car was likely to come back.. But he kept changing the information.

AVOID- DISHONEST, UNTRUSTWORTHY, DISGUSTING SERVICE
I bought an electric car in early February, and within just 8 days it developed an electrical fault. From that moment on, dealing with V12 was an absolute nightmare.
Instead of taking responsibility—as they are legally required to do within 30 days—I was immediately pushed to use a £999 warranty that had clearly been mis-sold. I was led to believe it covered the full value of the car (~£20,000), only to later discover claims are capped at £2,000.
The staff were dismissive, unhelpful, and at times outright rude. The salesman refused to help, and the manager hid behind excuses, claiming they were “just sales.” I was passed around departments, given conflicting information, and left completely unsupported.
The after-sales team was disorganised and unreliable. I was sent to a garage at my own expense, only to find the booking hadn’t even been made. V12 then falsely claimed it was booked in, only for the garage to confirm they had just contacted them after I challenged it. This level of dishonesty is unacceptable.
After multiple additional faults appeared, I exercised my legal right to reject the car. Even then, V12 delayed the process, made empty promises, and failed to communicate properly. It was only after significant pressure that they admitted a serious issue (water near the battery) and accepted the rejection.
The refund process was just as bad—delayed, poorly handled, and required constant chasing. I was even blamed for “holding up their business,” which sums up their attitude perfectly.
This company is unprofessional, dishonest, and shows zero accountability once they have your money. Save yourself the stress and avoid V12 at all costs.

Excellent experience - used Audi Q4 e-tron
I am delighted with my wife’s - new to her, Audi Q4 etron. Thanks to Sam, Drew and Jag for looking after me on the day - process is culture, and this business is extremely efficient and I will buy from them again. I am also impressed they do their own warranty work - hopefully I won’t need to use it. Having the battery cert also gives piece of mind.

Low PX values being offered...
The car, I drove all the way down to Wolverhampton to see, was as described, if not better. Sales guy on site was really friendly and helpful.
Why I only gave 2 stars is because of the low PX value amount offered after being convinced by a Hinckley tele sales person that I should get a good deal.
I realise pricing is subjective and depends on how many of the same vehicle the dealer has in stock already. Only went there in the first place as the colour was better than previously seen. I did not expect such a low value on my car. Don't be fooled, they are there to offer the lowest possible and even made up a story that there is a mark on my door down to the white undercoat. I have checked and double checked with a neighbour and no such mark exists.... Is this a ploy to offer less, who knows! Told also that tyre tread is 3mm.
During a main dealer health check, three months only ago (600 miles) the treads were front 3.6 outer and 4.5 middle. Rear 4.5 outer and 5.4 middle... Looks like this dealer will look at anything which will reduce the PX they offer, so beware!!! My personal opinion based on events.
