I have now been on two of the tours
Last year Mantova to Venice and this year Aigues Mortes to Avignon. I loved them both: beautiful countryside and villages, good visits to special attractions, adequate stops for coffee and lunches, great staff and good knowledgeable guides. Both the Ava Maria and Estelle had comfortable cabins, lounges and dining rooms. The bikes were smooth and well maintained.
They were both fun holidays. I have been recommending these trips to my friends here in Canada.

Excellent and fast support and booking, even with unexpected subjects!

Our week bicycling through the lovely, flat, Netherlands was a joy. Amsterdam to Maastricht on the Sarah with informative and kind Lia Van Zaal as our guide. We gathered 20 friends and booked the entire barge. Loved the rural bicycling, charming towns, bakeries, beer, and the food on the ship prepared by Kieren. Huge breakfasts of yummy fresh breads, fruit, yogurt, deli meats, eggs, cheeses, cereals.,, And dinner was plentiful, varied, delicious, and fun each night. The captain Bert took excellent care of us, the ship, and the bicycles. The only drawback was the lack of air conditioning on the ship. Most nights were lovely but a few were hot even with cross ventilation from leaving all the doors open. Otherwise it would be a 5 star adventure experience. An excellent vacation. Hope to book many more times with this company.

Our boat bike tour was a blast! We enjoyed every aspect of our trip from Amsterdam to Maastricht. Great guide, Lia, made every day Interesting with unique stops at ticked away places and evening strolls through the towns where we tied up for the evening. Captain and crew of the Sarah made our stay onboard pleasureable from great meals, to swimming, to a bbq on deck. It was our first bike boat tour and we loved it. Highly recommend and you don’t have to be a cycling pro to enjoy.

My husband and I cannot be happier with our experiences with Eurosail. Everyone is so professional. Anytime we have had to ask for an exception or had a few questions the matter was taken care of immediately. Friendly, professional staff on the barges. Great guides and chefs on board. The bikes are extremely smooth to ride and have great touring seats. The cabins are clean and have just enough room for two people. You could not ask for anything more. The cities and bike routes are well planned out. Stops are coordinated ahead of time. The only trip where we exercise all day long and gain weight from the great food aboard. We have also met some of the greatest people to bike with for a week. Love Eurosail!

The trip from Mantova to Venice on the Ave Maria was fantastic. The tour guides, Fabio and Natasha, were very professional yet engaging and fun. The food was delicious and staff very hard working. We were also fortunate to travel with a great group of diverse people who bonded amazingly and contributed to the positive experience.
The only negative was that the air conditioning in the room would not turn down enough and the cabin could get uncomfortably warm at night.

We have used Eurosail for four Bike & Barge tours. They are excellent to work with and partner with other B&B companies to offer a wide range of experiences. They are prompt to respond to any questions and their communications are understandable & thorough.

The Bike & Barge trip was as good as advertised and better. The barge (Fleur) was comfortable and clean, all amenities worked well crew and staff competent, welcoming and accommodating to our needs. Food was FIVE Star in quality and presentation. Guides were knowledgeable and friendly, with each day interesting and well planned.

great crew and leaders. we think we couldn't have had a better bunch of professionals to deal with. everything was done to make our journey as smooth as possible. Loved it all

We had a very enjoyable tour, the bicycling was very fun and the daily tours interesting and the guide took the group for walks each evening that were very informative.

Our experience was fabulous. I just have one recommendation. To put hand sanitizer stations at the top of each stairwell, as you enter the door from outside and before entering the dining room. There can never be enough hand washing on a boat!

Great Experience. My husband and I just completed the Tulip Tour and had a wonderful time. Despite cold weather the group was able to make the most of it and we even took off on our own a day and had an amazing time. The guides and staff were so friendly and helpful, I would recommend to anyone.

Had a fabulous time and great meals on the Fleur Barge with Steffie as owner/chef. She always bent over backwards to please the passengers and accommodate the likes/allergies/etc of each person. Bert, the captain was super nice, funny...and cute/single...in case someone is looking! The boat staff were very friendly, helpful, energetic and accommodating. The bike guides were exceptional: Tamara and Thomas.

Our trip was an absolute delight. From the excellent service provided by staff, to the high level of professionalism and helpfulness of th tour guides, to high quality food and accomodations, the trip was memorable and hopefully we can do another next year.

This is our second time using Eurosail Travel and will definitely use them again when we plan our next adventure. They always quickly respond to any questions and make sure you're equipped with all the information necessary for a great vacation.

Everything was great with one small but important hitch. They did not have the right size E-bike for my wife (she is very small) and she was unable to ride. Crew, boat, accommodations, food, etc. were wonderful. Next time I would be more pro-active in stressing our needs which given the high level of service, I believe they will meet.

The boat Estello was very tight in room space and needs refurbishing...dining room very noisy, and no open outdoor space to hangout. We did not enjoynitinerary as much as on previous trips. Countryside was not particularly scenic except on 2 days. We felt very rushed at some historic spots like Pont du Gard where we would have liked to have spent more time.

Old barge but great service and guide.ready for another one !
