Excellent service for my Home Grant survey
I recently had Rhis from Evolve come out to my property to carry out a survey for the Home Grant program, and I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience.
From start to finish, everything was smooth and professional. He arrived on time, he’s very polite and knowledgeable, and took the time to explain exactly what the survey covered and how it relates to the grant requirements. No question was too much trouble, and he made the whole process feel straightforward rather than confusing.
It’s such a relief to deal with a company that is reliable, friendly, and genuinely helpful. I’d absolutely recommend Evolve to anyone looking to apply for the Home Grant or needing property surveys — great work!

The installation of my solar panels…
The installation of my solar panels were due on the 16th July.
The day before, the scaffolders arrived at 8am and while they were erecting the scaffolding, Joe and Josh arrived to install the inverter and battery.
While they were working Shaun came to put the solar panels in place.
Joe and Josh spent over six hours working in temperatures over 27°.
Each team cleaned up and left my property immaculate.
I whole heartedly recommend this company and their staff.

Not a great experience
Not a great experience, to be honest. Once I paid the 50% deposit, communication virtually stopped. It was only after I threatened legal action that half of my windows were finally fitted. The workmanship itself was OK, although a couple of bricks were cracked during the installation.
The biggest issue is that I now have to pay another window company to complete the remaining work. Why take customers’ money if you know you can’t finish the job?
In hindsight, we were lucky that some work was completed. We were also considering using them for our kitchen and house renovation, so we really dodged a bullet. I genuinely feel sorry for the customers who have lost thousands of pounds with nothing to show for it.
The last six months have been incredibly stressful, and the company has now gone into liquidation. It’s been an absolute nightmare from start to finish.

Two appointments were cancelled
Two appointments were cancelled with the same “illness” explanation, the scaffolding was placed so poorly that I couldn’t open my garage door, and the surveyor and installer couldn’t agree on where the inverter and battery should go. The battery system was then left non-operational due to a technical issue, and my follow-up emails have been ignored for more than two weeks. This level of service is unacceptable, and I would not recommend this company.

Great communication contacted me day before to inform of time frame and half hour before arrival. They went into the loft for an inspection and informed me they will be coming to remove installation and fit new due to voids and some mold/damp. Made me aware items in loft will need removing before visit. Explained process of what to expect next. Even had their own key for hatch.Very happy with the visit

Fantastic experience
I had Solar PV and battery storage completed by Evolve this week, Tom and Ryan were extremely knowledgeable, took care of their work and surroundings. They found our roof needed replacing before panels could be fitted. Nathan from the office was extremely helpful and quickly recommended a local roofer and within 2 weeks of the first visit, the roof was replaced (the roofer Neil was brilliant), panels fitted and Tom returned and finished the system. It’s only been 4 days since the system was finished scaffolding is down, handover paperwork received and I’ve not used any electricity from the grid. I couldn’t be happier with the system and the service provided by Evolve.
