Formula One Autocentres - Camberley Reviews 

Ordered a tyre to replace one, which had a nail in it, from the Camberley branch. They had to order it in and said it should be available by 12:30. Called them early afternoon to be told there was a note showing on back order, and they would call back after making a call to establish situation. Called again a couple of hours later and was told "I said I'd call you back when it was in" which was not what they had said previously. Told them to forget it as had now sourced one elsewhere, which was supplied and fitted the following morning for a considerably cheaper price. Won't bother iwht this lot again!

I had a terrible experience at the Camberley Formula One . The receptionist, whom I believe was named the receptionist, was incredibly rude and made insulting jokes. Not even 5 minutes after I left my car, he came to me in an aggressive manner, loudly claiming that my car was no longer drivable, and making unnecessary remarks. This isn’t the first time I’ve had issues with him—last year he told me my brakes were dangerously worn and needed to be replaced. After taking my car to a different garage, I was told that everything was perfectly fine.
Additionally, my car had passed the MOT just a week prior, and everything was in good condition. Based on this, I strongly suspect he was simply trying to get money out of me for work that wasn’t needed.
Furthermore, the service itself was a complete letdown. As you can see in the attached pictures, the service wasn’t performed as promised, and the details were not properly added to the service document. the manager said this is computer issue . How can I believe this ? I ended up paying for work that was not done, and it appears I was almost scammed.
I spoke to the manager, about the situation, and he didn’t even offer an apology. This has been the worst experience I’ve had, and it’s shocking to think that someone like the receptionist could be working in a customer-facing role. I won’t be returning and highly recommend avoiding this place.

I received excellent service from Dave, the manager at the Camberley site.
My call was answered quickly, and he was polite, welcoming, and extremely helpful.
He invited me in for a tyre check right away, and upon arrival, I was greeted warmly.
Everything was sorted out in under an hour. Dave’s courteous, positive customer service made me feel valued and appreciated.
I was very impressed with his attitude and approach. I will definitely be returning!

Disappointed.... called in at Camberley branch at 530pm with a nail in my tyre. Branch closed at 6pm. "can you come back tomorrow?" I explained that I couldn't drive it like that for the 3 hr journey home and i was visiting for the day. "It's been a busy day and we are just cashing up. There has only been 3 of us and we are tired"

What is the point of a 6pm closing time if you stop business at 530! Less than helpful.

I wanted to express my disappointment, not with the MOT itself, but with the customer service I received when booking my appointment.

I scheduled my MOT for a weekday at 4:00 PM, choosing F1 Camberley over a closer alternative despite working full-time in Wokingham. Unfortunately, I was delayed by traffic on my way back. Prior to the appointment, I called your Camberley branch to inform them I would be five minutes late. The staff member initially assured me this was fine. However, I received a call back stating that because I was going to be late, my appointment had to be canceled. This call came at 3:59 PM; despite the fact that I was only two minutes away.

Cancelling an appointment over a one-minute delay, especially when I had already notified your team, is extremely disappointing. As someone who works in a customer service-based industry, I find it shocking that no consideration was given to a loyal customer. Good service involves some level of flexibility, especially in circumstances like this.

As a result of this experience, I will no longer be using F1 Autocentres after years of loyal custom. I will also be advising others against using your services due to the poor treatment I received.

If your immediate response to this feedback is simply, ‘You were late’, then it highlights a serious need for customer service training among your staff. I hope you take this matter seriously and consider implementing better practices moving forward.

The team really knows what they are doing, they only suggest necessary work are honest and up front about their reasoning on what needs doing and what can wait. The cost of the service is low as well compared to others but even if it was a little more than competitors I would still go here, I've used a lot of garages but the Camberley and Farnborough Formula One Autocentres are simply outstanding.

I booked online to have 4 tyres fitted.

Asked at Camberley branch if they could fit them.

Following day tyres had been delivered to F1 Camberley, they rang me to let me know they could fit them in the afternoon, we popped the car in, and perfect result, 4 great tyres fitted, best price in the area

My car needed an oil top up - brand new care .I iwas told, I needed to book a mini service by another reputable garage which would cost me 180 £ for oil top up and the next apt was few days after. Apparently the oil needed to be compressed !!!!
Went to Kwitkit in Camberley and Bobby , the manager booked me in the same day. Everything was done at a tiny fraction of the price.
That tall guy with a beard at formula one seemed to be telling loads of misinformation how my car would be damaged if i drive more than 10 miles( the engine lights only appeared 5 mins ago !!) Such a con. DO NOT USE

Great team and very helpful and friendly. I always bring my car to the camberley branch as they always give great service with a smile. Car was due to fail it’s mot but they sorted the issue FOC.

Very good quick service for tyres at a very good price. Definitely use the again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others

Ordered the tyres online for next day fitting at a good price compared to others in my area! I arrived a little early for appointment time and was pleasantly greeted by the manager and shown the waiting room, tyres were promptly fitted and I was on my way before my allotted appointment time! My 1st experience with formula 1 and I won’t hesitate to use them again!

First time I've used any F1 Auto, and went in purely for convenience, to have 2 premium rear tyres fitted.

The mechanic (Dave) came in to speak to me. He had given all the tyres the once over and said they didn't really need doing. I told him we were expecting our first baby and wanted to make sure that l had no budget tyres on the car (recently bought with what l thought were budgets on the rear).

He then showed me that the rear tyres had a lot of tread left, and were actually midrange, and suggested l change the fronts as they were quite worn, and of course, that's where the weight of the car, steering and braking, need the best tyres. Which is absolutely right.

Tyres were all fitted in less than 15mins.

Absolutely awful, rip off. Please don’t do MOT or Full service with F1 autocentre Camberley, they will try and scam you! They charged me nearly £200 for an MOT. telling me my car has failed MOT and required this and that, when the vehicle was perfectly fine.

The team at Formula 1 Camberley provided excellent customer service, from the time I booked a tracking check over the phone, to the check being done, and subsequently the work that needed to be done. Everyone is courteous, welcoming and efficient. I've recommended them to family and friends, and my husband will be booking his car in for a check next week.

Dave has been so helpful. Great to receive such good customer service. I left feeling like I had received the product and service I needed. Thank you.

I popped into the Camberley branch today with a large nail in my tyre.
The staff there checked my tyre tread, the age etc and advised it was best to replace. I expected this anyway as the tread looked low.
It was replaced immediately. In and out within 40mins.
Great service and great value.

I had a nail in my car tyre right before Formula 1 was about to close, just my luck. I spoke with the mechanic Dave in Formula 1 Camberley and he said he would repair my tyre before he heads off home to get me back on the road. I wish there was more mechanics like him around

Manager of the camberley branch,went out of his way to sort my tyre 10minutes done and back on the road. Cost was brilliant. Great customer service.

My first visit to Formula One was last Monday at the Camberley branch. Excellent customer service. I had an MOT, fast, efficient and all with a smile. I’ll be back. Thank you

Really efficient, staff member was helpful explaining the breakdown of the service and also explaining what extra work was needed , a thorough diagnostics was carried out on the vehicle .. this was at the camberley branch
