So very, very bad! No chance of getting a refund as the portal doesn’t work and there is no customer service - just an AI bot that is useless. I’m taking the matter up with my credit card provider! Please avoid!

Awful, never use them again. Still waiting for refund after 5weeks. No contact number, only AI and customer service email which don’t reply. Not worth the stress.

Told it was processed on 24th October its now 7th November and ive received nothing this is theft now

Do not order from this company unless you are sure you won’t return .I placed an order and 5 minutes later asked to cancel they said no the item was on its way .I returned straight away on the 23rd of Oct they had refunded me today the 6th November I still have not received a refund and cannot get old of any one to chase up

OMG! Never in all the years that I have been buying online have I came across the worse returns process with this company. This is absolutely horrendous and I will never ever buy again from them . I want to return two items but I can’t it is so difficult. DUX045723065.

Terrible !! Been trying to obtain a returns label for 2 days. Their returns portal does not work. Will not recognise my order number. Chat rooms keep saying someone will contact me. Still waiting !!!

Unfortunately can't give no stars, arranging a return and ticked gift card in error no option to change back to refund to card , tried cancelling return and starting again but no joy, tried emailing and whats app still waiting for a reply 4 days later will return goods feel like Ive been scammed

This company deserve no stars.......After receiving my items- which were not as described I tried to return, but I have no way of doing so, there is no returns form enclosed and try to do it on line, it wont let you as it states to use the forms enclosed in your parcel. their customer service lines are all AI, which come out with the same stuff no matter how you word it. It is clear they are no longer bothered about their brand. I am now stuck with items that are no good. Seriously avoid- this company deserves to go out of business and sooner the better.

if i could give a no stars i would - what a joke! ordered item, they sent it wrong, after literally days of waiting for a reply, which wasn't worth getting ! i was asked to send back.......not collection service available...its 2025 people! come on...tried to get hold 'customer service' that's false advertising ...no service at all, customers they simply don't care about....repeated the same 20 questions before getting the same answer ...i now have to wait a further 3 weeks for either a refund or replacement of the correct item...of which i have absolutely no faith in getting.......debenhams, hold your head in shame!

Placed an order for several items all of which were sent out separately instead of one package , three weeks later I’m still waiting on two of the items being delivered . Will not be using again

This was the last time I'm ordering because the orders come very very late no matter if it's express delivery and you pay more.

Debenhams is being run by cowboys, do not touch it. I have not received a refund for two dresses i returned weeks ago. I keep getting fobbed off. This is not the old Debenhams, customer service is utterly terrible. Do not buy anything from this shop.

I would give no stars if I could. Beware payment protection is automatically added. I didn’t realise and placed the order, they wouldn’t refund it as they said you have to tick the box but this is not true, the box is already ticked. My item was not received then they emailed to say it had been refunded! Despite me never receiving it, they only refunded the item not the delivery even though it was never delivered. Then you can’t get hold of anyone by phone, the chat is via AI which is useless. All round appalling, avoid at all costs

This is a warning to others like me who are seduced by what seems like good deals and prices via Debenhams. For the record it closed in 2021 but is still trading on the name, which fooled me. My order was for an under-counter small freezer but as soon as I had made the commitment to purchase everything went wrong. Although they advertise that they collect the redundant item, it was impossible to reach them. There is no obvious customer services number so I was unable to make this arrangement.Finally I got through to someone at the firm who took my card payment (Home and Garden88?) who said they would only collect old equipment supplied by them! What is that a one in a thousand chance? And from Debenhams (in administration?) or Home and Garden 88? So be warned, do NOT deal with Debenhams or their other manifestations. Go to Amazon or AOL who properly deliver and install large electrical items. Debenhams or their new guise are taking money and providing NO satisfactory service at all. Avoid like the plague!

I really don't think this is the Original Debenhams ?
Some items are good quality ,some not so .I have had to chase up a refund as these take so long to process & I don't understand why ? Be mindful of this when ordering .

Wish I had read the reviews before I purchased but there was a time you could have had confidence in 'Debenhams' is it even Debenhams? Or cowboys benefiting from the reputation of the name? I just got a response from a Rebecca from Debenhams saying it's been resolved, this is not true. I still haven't received my refund.
Can you please process my refund, it's been a month of hassle and stress chasing for a refund of an item that was never dispatched and all I get is automated response, it then goes quiet.
This is unbelievable and unacceptable.

It’s the 4th time trying to obtain a response from Debenhams for a simple refund on a vacuum cleaner that is such poor quality & where to return it to as it’s an agent of Debenhams. ( Elecinno- Direct )
Customer service is AI driven & supplied only an e- mail address which we have used to further request details of where to return this item for a refund …no reply 3 weeks on ! Are they waiting for the 28day returns date to expire to wash their hands of it .. well we have no choice but to gain a refund from our credit card company …avoid Debenhams !

Horrible Debenhams
I ordered a Kert Gergier hand back. They send me a parcel full of trash which includes : wipes , plastic bags. I ask them to refund they keep ignoring my messages. And denied the complaint

Refund process is very poor, slow and communication awful. Will not order from them again.
