Two months and still no delivery
Two months and still no delivery... I purchased a three piece wardrobe set to have it delivered to my work. The delivery place then wanted to deliver it on the weekend, even though delivery said before Sunday. However, it was fine as we are a 7 day business. Delivery comes and only two items. I have messaged and messaged Debenhams, they take a week to respond and then just say they are chatting to the supplier, wait two days, then I wait two days and they repeat the same answer. I then chase again and they send me a POD for two deliveries and say could it have been misplaced, even though I purchased three items.... So this is obvious proof they just didn't send the whole thing. My son has now been without a wardrobe for two months, I can't afford to purchase another one until I get my money back. This company is an absolute bunch of scammers, who I currently in the process of launching a small claims and speaking with the press. Do not buy here, horrible place.

I never saw this just seen it had been added to my payment but they wouldn’t refund! This is illegal which I stated but still didnt get anywhere after several people replied with the same generic response! Customer service shocking! Will never shop with them again!

Found a lovely weather proof sun lounger, ordered and it was delivered on time. It’s not as easy to put up as I thought but then when it’s up it’s great. Not too expensive in comparison with other sites.
No grumbles from me.

Refunds take forever and they charge to send back each item if from their brand partners. Still not received my refunds and sick of speaking with a bot. Coast and Boohoo are now part of Debenhams I think, so you’re never quite sure who’s connected with them and who you should avoid. Shocking!
Ordered a dress for friend
Ordered a dress for friend. She does not like it. Fair enough. Then another dress arrived addressed to me that I did not order. On reading the bad reviews I shall have to assume that I have lost money if they have charged me a dress that I did not order.
Ordered a sofa bed
Ordered a sofa bed, given a delivery date and charged for delivery.
Tracking number does not work , delivery is overdue, contacted customer service and they just said wait another 2 weeks before they could even be bothered to do anything about it!
I find this appalling , tried to cancel the order as I will not be in the country during the period they say they may attempt delivery, but cannot even confirm my order is dispatched.
I have never had a problem before with Debenhams but this experience shows just how little they care for a regular customer. Massively disappointed and still waiting for any sort of response!
Their seel insurance of £2.99 is scam
Their seel insurance of £2.99 is scam. I used to like Debenhams but they started stealing from people an extra £2.99 without your consent. Contacting them is like contacting someone from mars. I contacted as soon as I noticed the amount taken was different from the checkout basket but they refused to refund even though the order had not even been processed. I will never ever buy from them again. Imagine how many other people they stole like that from. It’s very wrong,
Ordered 2 dresses from Oasis website!
Ordered 2 dresses from Oasis website, didn’t realise until the money left my account that it was actually under the Debenhams umbrella!! Would never have ordered if I had realised. I had problems last year and here we are again! Such a long winded process, took 10 days to arrive and now they have had the items back a week (according to InPost) with no email from them to confirm, or refund I’m going to have to try to chase again for my money!

Abosolutely appalling - dont use. I ordered a desk that wasnt delivered. They kept saying on its way etc and gave an 18 day wait time?? Did not arrive and have said that they have received it back from me??? But charged the delivery cost. ABSOLUTELY APPALLING terrible customer service, no phone number to be able to call them, just constant emails with no resolution to the problem.

Absolutely terrible customer service. They do not bother responding to emails and do not have telephone number available for contact. Ordered a perfume wh8ch was delivered by their courier to the wrong address. The person at the wrong address returned the parcel. Requested a refund but despite several requests the have not responded at all. I will never deal with them ever.
Do not buy if you may want to return!
I would strongly recommend not buying anything. It is so hard to get a refund, no return label sent in package, it was a concession store so they won’t accept the order number as it’s not from them. You can only speak to an Ai bot which is very frustrating.
After weeks of going around in circles I’m ready to give up and loss the money.
Maybe that’s there plan 😡
Debenhams & Seel is a SCAM
Very disappointed with Debenhams, adding parcel protection to my order without any prior knowledge of ever requesting this, This is a total scam as uk law protects you, if parcel fails to arrive or is not as described, then Debenhams are already responsible for this, so this is a scam in partnership with Seel, simply to increase profits.
Very disappointing experience!
Paid for next day delivery but the item arrived 3 days late. The perfume box was damaged and looked tampered with, making it completely unsuitable as a gift. Customer service dismissed my concerns and made the whole process a waste of time. Would not order again.
Worst ever. DO NOT USE
Returned part of the order within the returns time frame, never received the refund worth nearly £100. Customer service terrible, take ages to reply and process resets every time, keep closing the case with no resolution.

Awful. It looks like my account has been hacked and there IS NO OPTION FOR ME TO CHANGE MY PASSWORD. ALL Customer Services do is point me at their general page WHICH DOES NOT HAVE A SECURITY SECTION AND DOES NOT HAVE A PASSWORD SECTION!!!!!!!!

Avoid. I’m still waiting for my order to be dispatched after 9 days. Tried to contact but just receiving automated responses. I’ve now had to take up a dispute with my bank to claim my money back. I’ll never order from this company again. Zero customer service
