Ordered an item for next day delivery- nothing arrived, zero communication and took a month to obtain a refund. Will not bother again

Thought I was ordering from Debenhams. Absolutely awful. 6 months waiting for a refund of €230 and only now notified it is being processed. Avoid DBZ like the plague. How have they remained in business. Surely the consumer rights people can do something?!
Avoid if you don't want tho throw your money away.
I thought I was purchasing a solar light from Debenhams. The advert did not make it clear that the light was a 'concession' item purchased from DBZ marketplace. The solar light was clearly broken when packed-the item was too large for the box and the lantern was snapped off to fit the box. I've spent days repeating the problem by the only means available, Messenger, and I'm taken in a full circle ending every time being told to wait for customer service to contact me. They don't. I am hoping, as I paid using PayPal, that they are able to obtain a refund for me now. Debenhams used to be a good company to purchase from. I would avoid them at all cost now.

Avoid at all costs. I purchased a chandelier through Debenhams and didn’t even take it out of the box as could see it was awful quality, hence I tried to return it. 4 times DBZ ignored me, hence I opened a case with PayPal. DBZ chose to ignore everything I asked them and would not supply me with a returns label so I had to pay for a tracked return via Royal Mail and thank god I did. They argued that they hadn’t received the item back and luckily I had proof which I had to forward about 10 times. Debenhams got involved and asked why I hadn’t asked them for a return label, but in the box it stated if you wanted to return you had to email them (DBZ) directly!! I got my money back after so much hassle but I’m out of pocket for the returns postage money and why should I be as this cost £10.10

This company has the worst and most ridiculous customer service ever.
They sold a cheap £5 rubbish bulb and even sent the wrong item. I opened a dispute, and they told me I have to pay for the return postage myself, and then they would only give me a half refund.
The mistake was theirs, yet they expect the customer to pay for it.
Honestly, don’t buy anything connected to Debenhams Online or this company. They have some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.

If I could I would have rated with minus😡. This company are thieves! I oder few items and luckily I was smart enough to pay with Klarna. After getting the items, I did retuned few of them and I kept on single pair of trousers which costed £72. when I checked on Klarna, these thieves charged me £91.48.😡😡😡😡😡
Avoid at all costs
I really wish I had done my research prior to purchase, but you know, Debenham's right? Except it isn't as the rights were purchased long ago and Debeneham's were liquidated. Buying from this shambolic outfit is an exercise in futility and frustration. Over a month on and they have still not delivered part of my order, and are now arguing that they have, with proof! Except that they have failed to understand their own delivery manifest which clearly shows one item outstanding. Luckily I paid via Paypal and I expect it to get resolved that way as I have no faith in any internal process they might pretend to have. Never again.

Awful customer service. Placed an order of five dresses, one postage charge for delivery. Returned three and had to send back to three different places and was charged postage three times for return. I still haven’t received any refunds weeks later. I didn’t realise this company was so awful. I wish I’d have read the reviews before ordering. Shocking!

Why has Debenhams allowed such a company on there platform?
First of all they automatically added seel on my purchase & now that I want to return my item within my 2 weeks timeframe they just don’t want to accept the return nor refund me. I am in my rights for a return & refund as I’m unhappy with a poor quality item.
I wish I saw these reviews before ordering! Will be contacting my bank for a chargeback.

I ordered initially from Debenhams and I was hit with an auto ticked box for an extra insurance which they refused to refund. Even though they are not allowed to auto tick especially when it cost the customer extra money. My fault I know but be vigilant if you are planning on using them.
Then order through Wallis turned out to be DBZ Marketplace 3 items came it separate packages, different times Returned two item received a refund, then a few days after returned the third item. STILL NO REFUND!
Ordered 3 pairs of shoes with Dorothy Perkins. Aka DBZ MARKET PLACE Returned them all. NO REFUND AT ALL.

I ordered from Debenhams in January, returned the item and it took over 6 weeks and numerous messages and emails to finally get my refund. I since placed an order with Boohoo, not realising they used the same company. Again returned the items and still waiting for the refunds. Absolutely shocking customer service- avoid at all cost!
