Easy to access and a fast and efficient service.

After being turned away from my usual insurers I spoke to Forces Insurance (who were so helpful) and they were able to help me. We were posted overseas to the USA but left a new car behind with friends to look after. Other insurance companies wouldn't consider us as we were not resident in the UK. Thank goodness for Forces Insurance as I really didn't want to sell my car and we were literally heading out within a few days. Tip for people in similar situations - don't leave it till the last minute!

Returning to UK having been serving outside the EU for over 4 years, Forces Insurance were able to assist me with getting a car insurance policy at a reasonable rate despite a lapse in my NCD certificate. Communication with them was helpful and prompt and I felt that they were genuinely trying to understand my situation and find a solution.

That said, the real test with such organisations is how they respond should I be unfortunate enough to have to make a claim on the insurance...

I rang to question why my quote was so high when other companies could offer me nearly half the amount for the year and i just got the same thing over and over " you get key care with us" this is not a selling point at all for me and no intrest in trying to beat any quote really puts me off the company

The customer sevice i received was friendly . My questtioned were all answered fully . Everything was emailed to me and easy to understand and access .

It took me three phone calls before they managed to spell my name correctly despite me spelling it out on each occasion.

Quick policy document email was a plus though.

Excellent service every time

I don't understand why I had to talk to one advisor who was always on the phone to someone else. When I finally had enough after 3 phone calls each way, the initial person could then renew my policy, surely this could have happened from the start. To their credit, theY were all very friendly and professional. The insurance is also £500 more then some competitive policies.

Even though this insurance is slightly more expensive than my current insurance, it takes the pain out of the process of deregistering and purchasing a new vehicle. The process is painless the agents were helpful, swift and professional.
