Furniture Village - Bristol Reviews 

My experience at Furniture Village, Bristol, was great because of the fantastic customer service I received. Samuel was brilliant. His knowledge was really good and he made the experience easy and explained things really well. He was so impressive!

The company offers a wide range of beds and mattresses. Having them in-store makes it easier to make a decision about which furniture to potentially choose. The details listed about each individual item is great also as it provides the information that is helpful upon making any decisions.

We were really happy with the service we had, the staff were very friendly they didn’t pressure us at all so when we saw what we wanted they were really helpful & made it easy to order what we wanted.

James Welsh was really friendly,helpful and gave us great customer service.
All the staff were very friendly and not pushy or intrusive as we found in other large chain stores.
We will certainly be using this company again in the future.

First visit to view lounge furniture & dining room. After looking at loads of different dining tables & chairs we decided on one, took a while as there’s plenty of choices. Went downstairs to check out sofas and found what we were looking for quite quickly. Order both the sofa & dining table then came across a coffee table so ordered as well. Delivery time sorted so now I have to redecorate and wait for the new furniture to be delivered. Great shop along with no pressure sales team. Can highly recommend especially as they had a sale on do saved some money.

Sales assistant was helpful but as we attempted to purchase he said he would be back in 5 mins and left us with a coffee but was gone with another customer for about an hour we eventually found someone else to help us but we were about to walk out of the shop without buying the product kept us there but the experience was very disappointing!

We haven't yet taken delivery of our mattress so I can't comment on the product itself but the customer service from Furniture Village has been more than excellent

Great service from start to finish special mention to Charlie who served us in the Bristol store, she was excellent in all areas.
The two men who delivered were polite and friendly and managed to fit the sofa through a very tight space to get it in to my living room .

Purchased leather sofa, which I believed after trying in the shop, would be suitable for my needs. The sofa I received is firm & uncomfortable. The leather is sagging where I sit, which is common, but the underneath is still like a brick. Plus the back cushions are misaligned & not straight. Should've been more persistent last year, as did go back to shop twice. I guess once they have your money they're not bothered? Shame as I 'believed' I was buying from a reputable company; seems they're all the same. Had a better sofa from DFS!

** Update. Furniture Village sent someone to assess the sofa. No fault noted (but I never said there was a fault 🤔). Even the technician who came out to inspect said it was like sitting in a Dr's waiting room it was so firm. FV say it will soften over time - think the sofa may live longer than me, as I've already had it 12months. Lol..Please be aware that the Winner leather sofa is not for those looking to relax, but great for a waiting room.

The gentleman who looked after myself and daughter was very patient and helpful.

Friendly, non pushy atmosphere. Jack was extremely knowledgeable and patient, taking time to explain every option.

Very helpful staff , polite & did not pressure sell

There were two delivery drivers with Pedro being the main contact. He was professional, polite and courteous and explained the delivery process. This included putting each of the dining room chairs together which I was not aware of.

He was very thoughtful in taking off his shoes and laying down a covering to prevent leaving any shoe marks on the carpet.

A leaflet was also left about maintaining the quality of the chairs.

Had an issue with our dining table, the surface has delaminated in multiple places. We have followed all the care guidance, we are extremely house proud and take great care with such expensive items. Raised a complaint which was rejected, accusing us of 'accidental damage' saying that we have caused this ourselves. Now in a frustrating situation where being told its our fault when we have looked after this table to a high standard. Furniture village customer care very unhelpful. I would be very cautious about spening large amounts of money through this company as they will go to any length to deny that their products (even though they look great initially) have hidden poor quality design and structure. Escalating complaint further now.

Jak was an amazing sales person, helped my grandson and I enormously to choose what we needed for his new house.

Salesman Jak introduced himself and said he was about if we needed to know anything. When I needed him, 2 or 3 times, he was happy to help, he wasn’t pushy and he didn’t hover (which is a pet hate of mine). Once we decided what we wanted he went through all of our options and explained the procedure clearly and precisely. He answered all our questions thoroughly and is just a really nice guy. Great personality, a member of staff you should be proud of. Now we are looking forward to our new suite which we will enjoy for years to come knowing it’s all covered by your 5 year guarantee.
