Photo bauble

I ordered a bauble with a photo on. Even though the photo was good quality, the photo came out awful quality and you can’t even recognise it. Wonky print, wouldn’t recommend.

Really disappointed with the door mat

Really disappointed with the door mat. I Believe the print will wear off quickly with the traffic through the front door. Service was good & delivery quick but for the price of the mat I expected better quality.

Promising start, sad end

I've submitted feedback on their site but I'm so disappointed that I need the satisfaction and comfort of knowing that it might be picked up here.

Lovely website, really well functioning, reasonable prices. That's what prompted me to buy a sympathy gift for a friend who had just lost their sister.

I chose nominated delivery - a few days beyond the earliest estimated delivery date to make sure the gift and card I bought arrived together.

The date for delivery was today. I noticed I didn't get a typical automated email to tell me that my order had been successfully delivered to my friend's address, and so I logged onto my account to see if I could get confirmation.

Undelivered. The date had been pushed back by a whole week, despite the items being in stock and me opting for a later date.

The 'no email' thing troubles me. I'd imagine that a large number of transactions through the site are for delivery to other addresses than the billing address, and so it makes me wonder how many items arrive on time - it's not landing on your doorstep after all, so you'd never know.

We rely on services like this to remove the pain of getting gifts, wrapping them and then rushing to the post office to get it delivered. When it falls down, it makes the whole purpose of 'Getting Personal' seem remarkably impersonal.

I mean, fancy not having an automated email to at least say there's been a delay. Possibly this is the case precisely to avoid having to confront angry customers from moaning about a delay (shh, don't say anything and we might get away with it).

For me personally, I feel robbed of a deeply personal moment to show a friend how much I care about them. The delay is an irritation, but the concealment of it is outright unforgivable.

At least both items in my order are delayed - if they had split the delivery that would've been beyond rubbish.

I don't know where their failures lie, or whose responsibility it is that these things seem to happen, but it is someone's responsibility - if you can invest the time and resources into creating a great site, easy UX and UI, and you can collect money, you can make sure stock levels are displayed correctly, lead times are accurate, and that delays are communicated.

Pull your socks up.

Cheap and Nasty

Avoid. Candles are small and transfer put on at an angle. Like a kid had put them on. Cheap and nasty.

Broken gift, very disappointed

Ordered a crystal rose for my wife's birthday. Stupidly didn't check it before her birthday, and when she opened it up it was broken. Have emailed Getting Personal to ask advice of what to do for replacement and returns, but have not heard a word from them. Will never use them again

I have not received my order

I have not received my order. Order placed on 24th Nov with delivery date of 28th Nov, status showing as processing and now stating estimated delivery 10th Dec. No communication until sent this review request

Wilted Flowers

I must say that I am very shocked by the terrible customer service that I just experienced.
The card in my order never arrived and the flowers arrived wilted.
I contacted Getting Personal via live chat and the agent refunded me for the card but would not refund me for the flowers.

Awful quality box

Really disappointed with the personalised wooden engagement box. I bought one for £15 from eBay and it was genuinely the same quality. Really thin, fragile wood. I paid £80 for something that is so brittle, really embarrassed to even give this to my sister in law.

My item was delivered to the wrong…

My item was delivered to the wrong address\country. Getting Personal have not accepted responsibility, apologised or even offered an alternative. Customer service appalling and very disappointed, second time I've had issues with deliveries regarding this company

Wrongly printed plaque

I placed an order early hours of the morning and admittedly made one little mistake on the date on the plaque, but realised this just after I submitted it. I sent an email almost directly afterwards asking if the change could be made before it was printed. I even called at 9am when they opened and was told that the email had been acknowledged and it would be changed.
I recieved the item a day later without the change.
I wrote another email explaining how disappointing this was and then I called and was told they couldn't and wouldn't do anything about it.
Probably never use them again as they lied about acknowledgement of the first email and saying they would change it.
