It's just a lone line of sales spam when you sign up.

Edit:
After a short conversation on e-mail we found a solution for the situation and I'm able to use the service now without paying money for the period I didn't use. I'm in only for a week or so and because of it I can't tell if you can actually get some gigs yet. But what I can say is that service is at the highest level I've ever seen between online services.
I can talk to a real person almost every time I need and I don't have to wait multiple days to get answer to my question and I'm getting tips from real humans about what to upgrade on my profile etc.

Totally agree that it's a scam. I've registered an account years ago and never used their services before. Now I wanted to start using my account, but as soon as I logged in to my account I got notified that I have to repay money for one year of service (a little bit less than 600€) that I didn't use at all.
However at the beggining I recieved some offers as an artist, but I never had opportunity to Open them cause I didn't start my plan yet, so I didn't use any services I'm in debt now for.

Well I like it is just that you have to pay to get gigs and you can put where you will do gigs so you will get gigs from that one area

They were prompt, honest and helpful, kind and attentive and thoughful and understanding. all you can ask for.

I'd like to actually do gigs. I don't need or want to make much profit but I do want my travel expenses and so on covered. I also like the recommendations. Meaning Gigbite decides what gigs to respond at.

I was skeptical with the tool, mainly because been forced to subscribe for 12 months and having luck of information about how they work inside.
Finally, I decided to try and I do not regret of it.
gigmit is an amazing tool, hopefully it continues growing and I can get more a more gigs.
It does not only helps you to do your work, but you also getting advice all the time about how to do it correctly.

GigmitPRO is a highly misleading service that Gigmit provides. So much so that you are unwittingly locked into annual subscription.
If you sign-up to the GigmitPRO 14 day trial you are automatically subscribed to the full service if you don't cancel within the 14 days. You can cancel GigmitPRO trial at any time, within the Trial Period and with the Gigmit FREE base account this can also be terminated at any time with the user will not be charged. However, with the GigmitPRO this is not the case, which is highly deceptive, you are apparently committed to an annual contract without a cancellation provision clause that permits the user to cease the contract before its expiration date/end of the contractual year. This by most commercial standards is highly irregular. This proviso is not apparent when you sign-up to the GigmitPRO service (as you don't actually get a contract with T&Cs ) so you obliviously wander into this trap involuntarily. To add insult to injury if you challenge them on this you are immediately threatened with debt collection i.e. "If we have not received your payment.... we will be forced to send your case to a debt collection agency..." Ironically, they follow this threat with "Our mission is to empower you to craft the career you have always wanted". However, NOT empowered enough to effectively cancel your GigmitPRO subscription without being locked in. Rather shameful really. It is my understanding that Gigmit are co-funded by the European Union Fund and sponsored by the Federal Ministry of Research and Education (Germany) which they proudly flaunt on their site. I wonder what these organisations would think of their association if they were aware of Gigmit's unscrupulous antics and treatment of their subscribers. Looking at the number of dissatisfied users and complaints regarding the GigmitPRO subscription there should be class action lawsuit organised against Gigmit exposing their unethical practices. With regards to the actual service itself I can't really comment. Even though I have been with Gigmit for 1 year I have not been fortunate enough to successfully land an appropriate opportunity from their platform.

It’s a scam. You don’t get to see that there are no opportunities relevant to you until you’ve spent money. They do not refund if you’re unhappy with the service either.
