Biggest scam out there, if you sign up to PRO you're stuck with it for a year and they will harrass you with debt collectors, avoid like the plague!

Everything I see on the website so far promises fruitful cooperation. It is true that at the moment I have not received what I expect, but I assume that whoever waits will get good. Nothing happens right away.

Yep, sounds good but i got nothing back, not even a 'thanks for trying' for any application - and when I asked for some evidence for the contact being made I got nothing, why couldn't they give one example? Mmmmm. What do you think of a 'team' who give no actual response to a simple question?
I tried to cancel and they agreed a sign off amount and acknowledged my 'pro' membership would end. Then they started hassling me again through 'pair finance'. I have now sent the evidence of my 'sign off' three or four times and they're still harassing me.
I'd get it if they felt they needed a few hundred euros but they are doing this for 22 euros . It's nuts. They are not 'friendly' or this would have been sorted in October last year. Nice if you got lucky on their site but most of their positive reviews look very dodgy !!! Be warned.

Not happy. I subscribed fir a year with no way out. This platform does not serve my genre (folk) even though there is a catagory. None of the proposals were relavent to me and when I realised this was'nt serving my genre as promised by the promotions I was financially locked in the one year. I kepr adjusting my preferences but still irrelevant suggestion came up. Another example of how the artist nerver makes money but is captured into spending what limited resources they have. And this platform receives european funding. Good for the developers but it doesnt filter to the artist in other genres or european regions.

Had no relevant gigs whatsoever, was not useful, and would not let me cancel. They threaten to send debt collectors after you if you don't pay, even after you try to cancel. Terrible business practices, complete scam.

Very helpful catalog of festivals and events for independent artists. However, need to find more ways to include artists based in Africa or promoting African music.

The Pro service is terrible, you won't find many gigs, the system is badly designed. I wonder who actually gets gigs out of this platform.
Even their clubs, promoters listings are outdated.
If you sign for the pro get ready to pay a really high fee for a useless service. If you want to cancel the contract they will deny and go after the payments and chase you down in multiple ways.
Worst experience ever.
I've even heard that they try to delete bad reviews from Google.

Gigmit as allowed to find a lot booking and promotional opportunities and has also provided really useful information as an independent artist.

What a ratty company. They are trying to delete my 1 star rating on Google because they don't like it. Haha. OK, I write down the whole story.
I have subscribed to PRO in 2019 to see all the opportunities that Gigmit offered in their marketing e-mails and promotions. Unfortunatelly there was no option subscribe only for a short term, so I went with the yearly subscribtion. For a year we tried to book ourselves via Gigmit, but nothing happened. We sent an application, we got the e-mail that the application was read, and than that our application was turned down.
After all this, I wanted to end the subscription since I did not see the point to use Gigmit. I wrote e-mails to cancel and stopped paying. Nothing happened, they sent invoices after all. This was because in the terms and conditions it is stated that you cannot cancel the service just like that, you have to wait for the current period to end (and you have to pay monthly, no matter whether you don't use their "service"), and then you have 14 days to indicate the cancellation , before the next contract period starts. Ridiculous.
After a few e-mails the CEO answered, accusing me of stealing and that I owe them money. He has threatened me with lawsuit and to put mortage on my property, which is ridiculous for a service that I am not intend to use. After all I paid them to get rid of Mr. Marcus Fitzgerald and his stupid and unnecessary team.
In conclusion Gigmit is a cloud of frts, it will not help you get booked, only they lure young talents with their marketing BS, then suck your money off. Also hard to cancel the "service" and they send waaay too much spam e-mails. This is not the way to get around in the music business.

It is highly recommended not to subscribe to PRO version. You get nothing more, and they make you pay monthly for a year! It is also hard to get rid of them.
AVOID GIGMIT!

The value gigmit provides doesn't correspond with the amount of money they charge, I am deeply dissappointed with the service and with the customer support of the company. They value customer's money more than their actual customers. During this Christmas period I wanted to cancel my free trial so that I wouldn't be charged for the services that I don't intend on using at all and that I haven't used at all, but in the midst of all the troubles of Christmas time I completely forgot about it and without any warning or reminser they have charged me 220 euros which has now left me completely without money and seems like my Christmas this year will be very poor, as I have tried contacting the company multiple times and they are completely ignoring me now after refusing to issue a refund to me. I am deeply dissappointed and hurt by this company. They are losing potential future customers by valuing the cutomer's money more than the actual customer and their wellbeing. Gigmit did not provide any alternatives on how I could at least get back a part of my money. I would be happy if they refunded me for the 11 months to come and keep the subscription fee for this current month, but ir doesn't seem like they care at all about the hardships of being a new artist and trying to make ends meet daily.

I just started using the Pro.
I still cant say much. I only suspect the music I make si not very the style most festivals and promoters are in this platform. I still have to use it more.

IT IS lovely to See Lots of ondoing good in what they are for and in and i think id Like to See as soon as i can to what i might make possible

I’ve subscribed on a free trial of 6 days found it on instagram and after 3 days they’ve started charging me like 24 euros each month. I’ve sent a lot of emails asking why but they only ask me for money without any answer. I’ve deleted my subscription since the first charge but there’s no way a free 6 says trial means a subscription of one entire year.

It is an amazing service, a huge database of festivals and venues.

Also easy to set everything up, but I guess you have to catch the eye with a bit of a fan base to be attractive for a gig.

I applied quite often but unfortunately I was never picked.

I am going to keep pushing and come back when I have a solid fanbase, maybe that will help to get chosen.

Their Customer service is brilliant, had a few issues and they were solved instantly.
