Buss company with our manage or customer care

They claim they are unable to plan or even adapt to changing situations in traffic, even though that is as sure as dead. They have delayed busses for hours and no contingency planning.

While they will leave if you are not there on time. They give you no option to cancel if they are more than an hour late to Harry Potter studio and no idea if you will be left with enough time. It is total chaos no one in the office have any idea of what is going on and there is no supervision onsite. The customer support by phone is rude and cannot do nothing.

They leave their customers with fees for missed dinner reservation in London as they cannot care. You have paid and you are looked in to their customer mismanagement.

We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. However, we would like to clarify a few important points regarding the operation of our services.

The advertised bus frequency for our services is approximately every 30 minutes, although timings can vary depending on live London traffic conditions, roadworks, events, and other operational circumstances beyond our direct control. Unfortunately, delays can occasionally occur across the city transport network, particularly during busy periods.

We would also like to note that while delays may have impacted your onward plans, including your dinner reservation, Golden Tours cannot accept responsibility for personal arrangements made independently outside of the booked tour schedule.

Regarding your comments about customer support and onsite operations, our teams do work continuously to provide the latest available updates and assist passengers as efficiently as possible during changing traffic situations. We therefore do not agree with the suggestion that no assistance or supervision was provided.

In relation to the Warner Bros. Studio Tour timing, despite traffic delays, our operational teams always make every reasonable effort to ensure guests still receive the standard studio visiting time wherever possible.

While we regret that the experience was frustrating for you, we do feel that the situation described was heavily influenced by external traffic conditions rather than a failure to operate the service itself.

We waited at Victoria Station on the…

We waited at Victoria Station on the blue line on May 14th for almost an hour. Your man on site kept saying that someone was coming every fifteen minutes. Finally we took the red one in desperation and got on a dead boring ride with terrible canned music. Would never recommend your company. Mogens Vedel

We also understand that you chose to continue your journey on the Red Route after waiting at Victoria Station. Regarding your comments about the route experience and onboard music, we respectfully note that this is largely a matter of personal preference and individual opinion, as many guests do enjoy this route and its commentary experience.

While we regret that the service did not meet your expectations, we do feel our team onsite continued to provide updates based on the latest operational information available at the time.

Armando was a great driver. His knowledge and humor made the ride to Stonehenge seem shorter. Anyone who comes to England should take this tour

Oscar, the tour guide was so bad

I had Oscar as the tour guide for “ Oxford, Stratford, Cotswolds & Warwick Castle Tour from London”. He was incapable to handle the problem happened on the coach. My visit was unpleasant and very unsatisfying. I couldn’t enjoy the visit.

Bruce and Romeo Were Great! Amazing Experience!

Bruce was a great tour guide and was very good with all his facts and knowledge. Super helpful and gave good tips of what sights to see at each destination. Romeo, the driver was great as well and got us to our destinations on time and we were even the first group for the Windsor Castle, so we didn’t have to wait long.

Do not choose Golden bus tours in London Competitors are more honest

Sellers on the street do not inform sufficient
He only wants to make money and a deal
He says you can use a 24 hour ticket one time within 3 months valid from the first entering golden tour bus
When we started our trip 3 days after purchasing date , we were very unfriendly kicked off the bus

Taylor Swift Afternoon Tea Tour Bus

I booked a Taylor Swift tour in London paid £118 through Golden Tours, specifically to bring my granddaughter down from Scotland for the experience. The tour was then cancelled, which is disappointing enough on its own, the time wasted looking into this and booking it is extremely frustrating, then the refund process or lack of it so far.... I have had to repeatedly chase for answers between Golden Tours and GetYourGuide, with no straightforward guidance or ownership from either side. This has wasted a significant amount of my time on top of the disruption already caused. Leaving customers to navigate a confusing and poorly communicated refund process is unacceptable. Based on this experience, I would be very cautious about booking through intermediaries where accountability is unclear.... shocking customer service which is still to be resolved!

We sincerely regret the disappointment caused by the cancellation of the tour and understand the inconvenience this may have created for your travel plans.

However, we would like to clarify that this booking was made through a reseller agent, GetYourGuide. In such cases, the payment is collected and held directly by the reseller, which means that all refund processing and financial resolutions must be handled through the original booking platform.

While we always aim to assist customers where possible, we are unfortunately unable to directly process refunds for bookings made via third-party agents, as we do not hold the customer’s payment details or funds in these instances.

We understand your frustration regarding the communication process, but the appropriate course of action is to continue coordinating with the reseller through whom the booking was made. They remain responsible for managing the refund process and customer payment resolution.

Bruce and Armando were awesome. Very caring, knowledgeable and fun. The tour of Windsor, Stonehenge and Bath was tiring but made lively and much awesome by GoldenTours

AVOID AVOID AVOID Golden Tours – SCAM overpriced and unreliable

Terrible experience from start to finish. We were sold tickets at a kiosk for almost double the online price. During the Tube strikes, we tried to use the buses but they were heavily delayed, and when one finally arrived, the driver often went on break. We ended up walking most of the time because it was faster.
Customer service was just as bad — no refund offered despite the poor service. We were sent in circles by the people running this between the kiosk, phone number, and email support, who even did not speak much English only to be refused and offered a ticket for another day (which was useless to us).

Overall: overpriced, unreliable, and frustrating. Avoid and spend your money elsewhere

However, on this occasion there was significantly more traffic than usual due to the Tube strikes, which unfortunately may have impacted journey times. keine Einweisung, keine Audio Guide

Wir hatten keinerlei Einweisung bezüglich des Audio Guides. Schnell die App geladen und irgendwie versucht das Audio zu starten. Die installierten Audio Guides haben nicht funktioniert, auch bei allen anderen nicht. Sehr schade. Die Tour war schön aber wir hätten gerne die Infos dazu gehört. Irgendwann haben wir es aufgegeben und weg von den Handys aus dem Bus geschaut. Ärgerlich für diesen Preis.

Horrible customer service / following the reply from Golden Tours as per below, they have not actually given us a full refund, but told us to take it up with a 3rd party, who apparently we bought the tickets from. So I need to do that now.

Horrible uncaring customer service
We bought tickets for Legoland, unfortunately our 4yr old granddaughter was hospitalised 2 days before the visit.
We sent hospital letter, but Golden Tours refuse refund or credit note
As we did not give 7 days notice.
How would this be possible with a sick person.
They clearly care more about their profits than the customer.
Will never use again. Avoid at all costs

London hop on hop off

Overall the hop on hop off bus was good, down point we thought there wasn't much talking about placing going around. We mainly used the red route and a little of the orange route to get out to Kensington which was good.

Tour aborted!

Unfortunately we were unable to undertake the tour of the Churchill war rooms on Friday April 24th.
Basically London was in the throes of a tube strike and just getting from A to B was a nightmare. Also, when you are not confident about getting around the city we had to make the decision of missing the tour and concentrate on getting back to King's Cross.
I tried to see if we could rearrange the date, but the Cardiff number given on the site was permanently engaged. I tried over 120 times.
I had not protected the booking as I knew we would be in London that day. Lessons learnt.
