VERY SCAMY

VERY SCAMY - They sign you up for auto-renew, but when you click the link they provide in through the link in they're email to cancel it goes to GOLFPASS+. Then when you go and turn it off and it says no membership. They then charge you $100 again the following year. Called customer service and they say you should of went to the GOLFNOW website instead of the cancelation link in they're email. HEADS UP! Very Shady and Deceptive Business Practices!

Made a tee time being aware of their 24…

Made a tee time being aware of their 24 hour cancelation policy. Received news of death in family at 12:50. Contacted golf now to cancel at 1:14. 24 hours and 1 minutes before tee time. By the time it was processed it was 1:16. They refused to refund, saying I was 1 minute late, disregarding the online initiation.
Can't reach anyone with power to intervene.

Zero stars if possible

Zero stars if possible. Customer service was the worst to deal with. Tried to get a refund on a booking that was made by mistake. They said a manager would call me back and never did. I reached out to their chat service and dealt with even worse customer service.

Do not book with this site. You can just call the course yourself. Save time, stress and money.

I like GolfNow as a concept and the option to look at many different course options and pricing at once. However, the recent update to the app is not a great experience. I don't know how to view details of the reviews anymore. The app sometimes hangs and doesn't allow you to book a tee time once you click on it. I had to close and restart the app to book. The ease of use and visibility (filters, geography options, pricing details) are fantastic.

Gonna leave a bad review every day until someone processed my refund.
Last reviewed was replied to saying to reach out via Chat on the website. There is no chat option on the website. Absolute shambles of a company to deal with

Charged my card twice for $332.20 total with no authorization from me

If I could leave a 0 I would. I was a loyal customer to this site for many years and after my cards weren’t working on GolfNow I called to get them working. Still doesn’t work on the site when I try but it went through on theirs. Then I asked to try the “FREE” golf now pass which I have 7 days for a trail and after a few hours getting it I decided it wasn’t for me and canceled. Then I look into my bank and I have two pending charges for $166.10. So now I have two memberships that were not authorized by me at all which is very fraudulent. Very disappointed and have spend thousands over the years on this site and I will not be recommending or using anymore.

Savings until you need Flexibility

“Hot Deals” save you 20-40% but the moment you need to cancel inside 24 hours for weather, good luck! You’ve gone from saving 20% to losing 100%. Unless you buy their premium memberships, you have ZERO flexibility.
GolfNow doesn’t even have a chat function or any other way to contact customer service, despite what their website claims.
GolfNow doesn’t even offer rain checks without premium membership.
Finally, GolfNow advertises $120 in credits with their $120 membership, but they hide that those credits are only redeemable $10/month.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Terrible customer service and refunds take an eon. They also stole 5 dollars saying it’s their non refundable fee. What a racket, Gna call the BBB on them for theft. Avoid if possible.

Avoid using GolfNow

GolfNow is practical for finding deals. However, the experience for any type of refund is terrible.
I canceled a tee time because it was pouring (in fact, it had been pouring all night).

I even called the golf course multiple times to confirm they were closed. Since nobody answered on the course, I was confident I could cancel.

GolfNow is refusing to refund me their fees. They argue the course was open. I am glad I didn't also pay the green fees through GolfNow.

So, buyer's beware. You WILL run into this situation. Do NOT use GolfNow unless you are absolutely certain you can play. Getting a refund may be impossible.
It's better to call the golf course directly.

This is not just my review. Read what others say.

PS: GolfNow's online chat doesn't work, just another inconvenience.

Set.up a tee time the course called me…

Set.up a tee time the course called me and said it was too cold to play. They canceled my reservation and GolfNow won’t refund my money. All they do is keep telling me they can’t get an answer at the course to verify my cancellation. They are refusing to refund my money. This is horrible business. And they charged me the wrong price I should have got a discount for booking now it should’ve been $72 instead of 84 so they basically have stolen my money…..

Easy booking

GolfNow booking was very easy, made check in easy as well. Sometimes there is a pre-paid option which makes check-in even faster.

Read the fine print!

These guys have gotten very hard to deal with. A refund is NOT a refund!!! It's just a credit AND it can only be used on HotDeals! I made a reservation late at night, canceled it first thing the next morning, due to horrible weather, more than 24 hours in advance, and was told they issued a credit, not a refund. I won't use a credit because this was a one-time thing. I belong to another course. After more than 30 minutes on Chat, they told me what the fine print says: Hot deals don't get refund. So I called, asking them to do the right thing. Same answer.

I regret using GolfNow

I regret using GolfNow. It is the same reason I don't like using thrid-party booking-companies for flights. If something goes wrong, and you need help or a cancellation, you get the third-party run-around. The rigid No Refund Policy. Once they get your money, they plan on keeping it. Next time, I will call the Pro Shop. I was just searching on the internet and got 'directed' to GolfNow. I am not tech-savvy so I fell for it. I legit thought I could cancel if I needed to. No FLexibility! The guy on the phone admitted that a lot of people call looking for refunds, and they hide behind their policy. It would be a more enjoyable customer experience if the refund policy was more flexible. I guess the bean counters behind the scenes have decided it is more profitbale to keep the money and deal with the frustrated customers, than it is to give good customer service.

Booked a tee time last week through…

Booked a tee time last week through Golf Now. Course phoned me on the morning to say temporary greens and only 15 holes. They were happy to refund me but said I had to go back through Golf Now. I tried to phone- number doesn’t work and emailed but no reply! So I’ve just asked my credit card company to do a charge back. And what is even worse is I got a reply here asking me to respond via live chat that doesn’t work either!
